Checking into God’s Presence... “Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.” Psalm 36:5-8 “For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.” Psalm 36:9-10 We pray through Your lovingkindness; “let not the foot of pride come against us, and let not the hand of the wicked remove us”. Forgive our sins and remove every dent, scars, fears, sickness and pangs of death from our lives. Also remove the tendency to engage in hues of cries and other discomfort from our lives. Father we plead in Your name that You will cast them down and uproot them so they won’t be able to rise again. With Your spirit guide and comfort us and let us be filled with the strength of Your joy in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts! My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God. Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah. Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.” Psalm 84:1-5 “O Lord God of host hears our prayers: give ear, O God of Jacob. Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed. For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalm 84:8-10 “For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.” Psalm 84:11-12 Our Lord God, You claim that Thou art the sun and the shield unto those who worship Thee, declare now Your grace and glory upon us as we look up to You. With the righteousness ordained upon us through the Blood of the Lamb, withhold no good things from us in our endeavours to worship You uprightly. Thou made provisions for the sparrows; they found a house! You allowed the birds of the air and the swallow a nest for themselves where they may lay their young. We beseech You to make a suitable seat even for thine altars shine. O Lord of hosts, my King, my God and my Saviour; blessed is the assurance given unto those that dwell in thy house; surely they will be empowered with attitude of praising You in the Tabernacle that You our Lord will provide. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah. God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.” Psalm 47:1-6 Oh Lord our God, it is so true that You are the King over all the earth: give us the understanding to always appreciate this and sing ye praises with all our hearts. Thou who seats upon the throne in holiness: use Your power to declare Your reign over those who seats in judgement against us and the covenant of peace Thou made with us through our forefathers. Forevermore You shall be greatly exalted. The earth and the heavens belong unto Thee; therefore arm and empower us with testimonies to attest to Your great works among us. In all endeavours when we gather in Your name, give us victory so we can shout unto You with the voice of triumph: for You are a great King that will rule from everlasting to everlasting. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... Lord, “for this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him. You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. SelahI will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him. Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!” Psalm 32:6-11 Instruct and lead us in the way we should go oh Lord because of the trust in the power of Your name. Overwhelm with Your grace the torrential storm going against our purpose in life. Maim and reduce to nought all weapons fashioned against the strength of our joy in You. Castigate and smear with disgrace those who seek our downfall. Above all, use Your power to create our hiding place in You; protect and preserve us from all trouble and surround us with songs of deliverance in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

16 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... Our Father who art in heaven; remember what Thou proclaim that: “the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Psalm 50:6 “We should call upon You in the day of trouble” Thou said, “I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me”. “I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.” “I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds. For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.” Psalm 50:8-10 Father, if truly You knew “all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are Yours”. Should You also be hungry, You would not inform us for the world is Yours, and the fullness thereof.” Begin therefore to manifest those claims among Your children today. Remove all stubborn stains associated with Satan or His cohorts. Instead, infuse Your Holy Spirit to direct our steps so we do not falter. Comfort us with enough peace to navigate the torrential storms of this sinful world. Also eliminate generational curses and issues that may turn our friends of today to suddenly become our sworn enemies at a later date. Above all; feed us until we thirst and hunger no more. Protect us with the Perfect Blood of the Lamb and teach us according to Your will in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence..

Checking into God’s Presence... “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Amen (Psalm 100:1-5) Just Checking into His Presence...

14 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” Psalm 23:1-6 Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

13 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth. Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness. Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers. The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun. Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.” (Psalm 74:12-17) Oh Lord our God; if truly “the day is thine and the night also is Thine. If Thou hast prepared the light and the sun to shine in due season and set all the borders of the earth to make either the summer or the winter. We beseech Lord not to forget the congregation of Thy people for ever. Father, have respect unto the covenant of peace Thou made with us; for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. In Thy power, “let not the oppressed return ashamed let the poor, the needy and those who worship, trust and praise thy name be clothed with Your everlasting grace. Withdraw not Thy right hand, cover us with the multitude of Your mercy and put a sign of victory on Your beloved ones. Above all, make us Your sons and Daughters and let the evidence of Your royalty shines through us in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

12 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.” Psalm 108:1-6 Otherwise, who can lead us away from any trouble like You? Who will wash our shame away? Who can overlook our sins beside Thee? Whose help can we enjoy without any disappointment? Who can give us a perfect relationship without keeping wrongs? Who can we offend without the fear of any reprisals? Who can keep covenant besides Thee Lord. Men have been seen to have broken so many promises. “Your covenant You will never break.” Therefore, “give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.” But “through God we shall do valiantly: for He it is that shall tread down our enemies”. Amen- Psalm 108:12-13 Just Checking into His Presence...

11 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed. My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long? Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.” Psalm 6:1-4 Have mercy upon us O Lord; for we have been weakened by the incidences of our sinful acts. Heal us with the power of Your grace. Our bones have become vexed, our spiritual insight remains dim and Satan is taking the advantage: working relentlessly to contaminate our joy. Remember Oh Lord, “for in death there is no remembrance of Thee: in the grave who shall give Thee thanks?” Psalm 6:5 Lord; Hear our supplications today and receive our prayers through the perfect Blood of the Lamb. Declare with Your name and make our enemies Your enemies. Shame them in accordance to the works of their hands. Let them return to their tents bedraggled and discomforted; leaving us with songs of testimonies in our mouths. With the trust we have in Your name we declare- “Depart from us, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of our weeping.” Amen (Psalm 6:8) Just Checking into His Presence...

10 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” Psalm 5:1-3 Our Father who art in heaven, we have chosen to come to You again today to enjoy the multitude of Thy mercy. Keep us in Thy fear to worship You in Thy holy temple. Lead us constantly into Thy house with joy O Lord to proclaim the true value of Thy righteousness; because of our enemies. Make straight Thy way before our faces and let all those that put their trust in Thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love Thy name be joyful in thee.” “For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” Psalm 5:11-12 By Your own counsel O God, destroy all tribulations sent through the fiery darts of our enemies to undermine the glory You have deposited in us. Let those who work relentlessly against our joy fall into their own pits; out of the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against Thee. Make us a pillar of Your righteousness and a salt of joy to the world in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

09 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. “Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent. Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.” Psalm 110:1-4 I pray to God to fulfill His covenant and allow the year to bring her increase. Let the land which has remained fallow listen to the word of God and produce fruitfulness. Henceforth, let the joy of Lord fortify our strength and declare breakthrough from all captivities. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.” Psalm 3:3-5 Oh Lord our Heavenly Father, on this new day make us not to be afraid of ten thousands of people that may have set themselves against us round about. Arise, O Lord and save us our God: render our enemies powerless, smite them upon their cheek bones and break the teeth of the ungodly that fights relentlessly to see our downfall. We believe in You because salvation belongs unto Thee Lord: for Your name sake, declare Thy blessings upon us today. Make us humble, fruitful, plenteous in Holy spirit and diligent in Your work. Above all, grant us long life and save our children from any demonic onslaughts in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

07 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”-Psalm 2:5-8 Oh Lord our God, in celebrating the glory in the birth of another day we are looking up to You: wash away our iniquities so we can become Your sons and daughters again. We want to worship You in peace: break every power standing against this desire with Your rod of iron. Dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel all those who tries to seat upon our glory. Thou commanded: “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”-Psalm 2:8 Give us peace, joy, promotion, victory, wisdom, good health, long life and help us to sustain the inheritance. Our children will live long through Your grace, You will make them fruitful and allow them be like olive plants round about thy table. Father, empower our songs to declare Your glory in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm 1:1-3 Father; we are grateful for the extension of Your mercy through the gift of this new day. We plead with the saving grace of Your right hand to keep us away from the counsel of the ungodly. Also wash away our sins with the blood of the Lamb and create a new heart in us. Give us the will to always want to worship You and the understanding which runs with the delight of following Your laws and commandments. We beseech You to give us the empowerment to meditate upon them day and night. Above all, let us be like “a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season”. Forbid that any of our leaves becomes withered and surfer any shame, sickness, anguish and or sadness. Because You are God Father, declare today that whatsoever we lay our hands upon shall prosper in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:3-5 Oh Lord our God, we want to recommit our souls and the works of our hands unto You; give us the strength to always trust in the power of Your name. Let our feet run after the delights of Your commandments. Take us to a dwelling place that is surrounded with peace, joy, breakthrough and Your supernatural blessings. Bring to pass all incidences of hatred, challenges in any format and every unpleasant slogan which can create unnecessary setbacks, confusion, doubts and the ability to forsake Your Holy name. Because of our trust in Thee Lord, make us to dwell in the land that flows with milk and honey. Satisfy our needs, feed us and declare Your testimony through our handiwork in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

04 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” Romans 8:14-19 Abba Father, at the mention of “let there be light” from You; the world was formed and came into existence. Darkness ceased and the world itself began to take shape. Through this creation, “the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” Therefore, and as Your children: we beseech You to declare and remove every bondage that may have been set upon us through sin, fear, our enemies, doubts, trials and temptations of diverse nature. Bring us instead into the manifestation that will make us heirs of Your name and joint-heirs with Christ that we also may be glorified together in heaven. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

03 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “Thus saith the Lord, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all. And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there. And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.” Isaiah 65:8-10 Our Father who art in heaven, we plead through Your mercy that “as the new wine is found in the cluster and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it:” let such blessings begin to ooze out into our lives according to Your commandment. Let our fold be an attraction to wonderful flocks who will worship You in peace and with the gifts which Thou had given them. For those new flocks that will constantly seek to know and worship You; declare the new gathering to anchor their peace, give them joy and establish newer testimonies in their lives in Jesus. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

02 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.” Matthew 19:27-30 Truly, we have forsaken all so we can serve You by carrying Your cross; fulfil therefore Your covenant upon us and let us receive in return hundredfold of Your blessings. Make us special before You and guarantee the inheritance to Your everlasting life. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

01 May 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them. But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, Lord, hast holpen me, and comforted me.” Psalm 86:11-17 Therefore use my eyes: move them to admire things of heaven. Take my voice and let it proclaim Your glory. Order my steps Lord, make them walk in holiness. Engage my brain to always think worthy of Thy name. Father; train my ears, let them always hear from you. Enrich my understanding; so I can work and walk according to Your demands. With Your power oh Lord: expunge fears, trials, temptations, doubts, tribulations, condemnation, suppression, expulsion, dismissal, unemployment, sickness, redundancies and hatred of all fashion from my domain. And let Your true love satisfy my needs, fortify Your strength in me and strangulate all embers capable of bringing shame, disaster, untimely death and poverty to me, my ministry or indeed my loved ones in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

30 April 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “But ye that did cleave unto the Lord your God are alive every one of you this day. Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for?” Deuteronomy 4:4-7 According to Thy commandment oh Lord; enrich us with the perfect gift that will empower us to cleave unto Your statutes. We know we have not taken an oath that is foreign to Your instructions: and neither have we abandoned the purpose of our true calling. We plead, if truly Your name is being called upon in and for all things: for You to be attentive to our prayers and listen to our tears. Walk into our lives, blot out and block all fears capable of destroying our plans. Remove any unwanted news and replace them with events that will gladden our hearts. For Your name Sake and for the purpose that will make us bear Your testimonies; uproot scarcity, any lacks showing itself to be deep rooted, pocket leakages, and sickness of any nature. Remember through Your Perfect name, Your covenant of peace and make us to possess our possessions in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

29 April 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “And it came to pass, when they had done circumcising all the people that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole. And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.” Joshua 5:8-9 Almighty and Everlasting King, we open our hearts to You this day with the expectation to receive from You; we want you to forgive our sins in every dimension and cleanse us with Your Holy Spirit. With Your power oh Lord, begin to pull down and uproot all barriers standing against our progress. Remove scars, tears, reproach, temptations, trials, and doubts, hatred of any kind, illnesses, unrest and untimely deaths. Rather, make us pillars worthy of Your testimony. Turnaround our shame of today and make us famous tomorrow. Declare our tests of today and make them perfect testimonies of our time. You said to Joshua- “This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you”. Make this happen in our lives in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

28 April 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... It is so true we may find ourselves walking through the construction of manmade pit. Today I want to implore you to let the promised Godly heritage overwhelms the doubts and fear of those torments. Don’t forget, God already promised to sustain His covenant of peace upon those who diligently seek and serve Him. King David in Psalm 16:5-11 declares-“the Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. “I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption”. Psalm 16:7 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11 Therefore, I invoke the authority derived from the power of creation to bring to light the manifestation of God’s glory in us. I revoke through the name that is above all other names; every monitoring spirit which runs contrary to the true Spirit of our Lord. I banish with the saving grace in the perfect blood of the Lamb: bad news, illnesses of any nature, un-accomplishment of any kind and antics used by the evil ones to suppress, castigate, humiliate, destroy and or obliterate the purpose of God’s delight upon us. I pray to God to gladden our hearts so that His loved ones will not receive damnation. And to show us a path through His presence to receive the fullness of joy from His right hand and the empowerment to continuously enjoy pleasures for evermore in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... God of mercy, the creator of heavens, the earth and everything therein, Your unflinching love is unquestionable and insurmountable. Therefore, “I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands. I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me. Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble. And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.” Amen (Psalm 143:5-12) Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. How shall we sing the Lord's song in a strange land? If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. Remember, O Lord, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof. O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones”-Amen (Psalm 137:1-9) Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.” Psalm 4:1-3 Father, on this new day that You have preserved us, “there be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us”. Psalm 4:6 “Thou hast put gladness in our hearts, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. We will all lie down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest us dwell in safety” Psalm 4:7-8 Let those who stand against us be in awe to the testimonies of our mouths. Teach us Your ways so we will sin no more. Make Your daily grace commune with our hearts even before we rise from upon our beds. In spite of the worldly trouble, may the power of Your Might keep us still in faith, trust, hope and believe in the thought that You have for us- “the thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”(Jeremiah 29:11) Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

24 April 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:17-21 Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in His excellency on the sky. The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.” “Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.” “Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy Excellency! And thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.” Amen Deuteronomy 33:26:29 God, let Your mercy speak for us today; with the value of Your righteousness, remove our sins and rekindle the joy which may have been surrendered to any patterns of our sinful acts and or the enemies. Overwhelm us with the power in Your Holy name: Cast, bind and powerfully ostracize darts, arrows and all ephemeral powers which tries to destabilize and work against the glory of God in us. Enrich us with Your Everlasting Arms to subtend Your grace. Grant us comfort, peace, joy, victory and enlighten our darkness so that Your glory can always shine through us in Jesus name. Checking into God’s Presence... “Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.” Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.” “Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee”. Checking into God’s Presence... According to God’s pattern, we really have a simple work in Africa; but why is it common to write everyone off, save for ourselves? How can we right the wrongs, the gap widens daily and they are not from God. In that “God has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 What we have quite simply now is a case of man inhumanity to man, where dog eat dog and man eat man. So sad that the much acclaimed simple subject of eternity is forever lost into the abyss. Whereas Job 1: 20-22 sounded the warnings: ”Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1:20. Listen to these; “You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.” Revelation 3:17 “I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare“ This video touches me and in spite of so many churches, Pastors, Mosques, Imams etc etc, the standard of God/Allah is not reflected in our conducts and our government; oh Africa. Checking into God’s Presence... “God is our strength in times of trouble”. “But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.” Psalm 37:39-40 Moses was classified as a nobody, until Thou chose to empower him. Even with their disbelief, You used him for Your gracefulness and declared Your Might. Those who dithered, complained and dishonoured Your purpose in him were then filled with awe. As unto Moses, we plead through Your Holy name to change people’s perception about us today. Wash away our filth and cloth us with garments of honour. Cause the plans and the assignment of the enemies to work in our favour. Help to satisfy our needs in times of trouble. Remove pain, turbulence, calamities, unemployment, redundancies, and sickness of all kinds, untimely death and any form of sorrow. Pitch our tents in the comfort zones and let us be fruitful. For Your sake, let the treasures of heaven open to declare peace, joy, long life and good health. From Your riches, establish new songs to guarantee renewed hope, joy and faith and testimonies that only declare Your glory. Above all; guide us with Your spirit, wisdom, knowledge and redeem us so we can constantly declare Your Presence in our lives in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Only the devil acts as adversary but those who belongs to Jesus should stand as an advocate; irrespective!” “Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border.” Jeremiah 31:16-17 Remember Thy words of comfort in Jeremiah 31: 9-14 oh God: that “they shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.” Let us “hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.” “For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.” “Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the Lord.” Father, we beseech You to remember the Blood of the Lamb, declare and make anew these blessings upon us today in Jesus name. Checking into God’s Presence... Seeking God’s approval, not men. “The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly. The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” (Psalm 118:14-17. David declared in Psalm 118: 8-9 that “it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.” We trust in You Oh Lord our God and truly we have never paid homage to any lesser god; therefore and if indeed Thy reign has been from everlasting to everlasting: When we call upon Thee in distress, answer and set us in a large place. Be on our side so we do not fear what man can do unto us? Keep, guide, strengthen and help us so much so we can begin to enjoy Your overflowing grace. For our sake, fulfil Your desire upon those that hate us and have sworn to use any means to bring us down. We declare today; we shall not die, but live and declare the works of Thy Hand. Do not allow our sins to surrender us to any pangs of death, hues and cries, fear, doubts, illness, unemployment and hatred of any kind. With Your right Hand, turn every shameful episode in our lives around, let us begin to rejoice and be glad in every of our pursuits. Through us, let the people believe and say that Your mercy endureth for ever. That “the Lord is our strength and song, and is become our salvation”. You are the Lord, “which hath shewed us light” we beseech You to “bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.” Give us the enablement to declare that “Thou art our God, and we will praise thee: Thou art our God, we will exalt thee. Make us the chief head stone of the corner and make all those who had made jests of us to shout-“this is the Lord's doing”. Let our stories be marvellous in people’s eyes and let every day be considered as “This is the day which the Lord hath made”. Save now, we beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, we beseech thee, send now prosperity”, peace, mercy, victory and do allow Your enlightenment to govern us from now on in Jesus name. Checking into God’s Presence... “Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5:2-5 Our Father in Heaven; teach, encourage and comfort us to rejoice in our sufferings. Empower us to know that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character and character produces hope. By Your declaration, forbid that our experience in worship, prayers, vigils, fasting puts us in the categories of those that will declare Your glory. Do not allow our hope, faith and expectations in You to put us into position of shame and confusion; thereby allowing the world to make jest of us. By Your calling, You have poured Your love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit; this has been given to us by extension through our Lord Jesus Christ, decree today that through Him we can obtain mercy and access Your throne of grace by our faith. Let us be able to maintain our position into the realm of grace so can we can always rejoice in the hope of Your glory in Christ Jesus. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them. For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land. And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.” Jeremiah 1:17-19 “Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:4-5 Therefore, I pronounce from this day forward, for You to act as our defence to defend our cities, homes, churches and workplaces. Guide and guard our children jealously; rebuke all accidents, untimely deaths and let their growth be marked with Your excellence. Be our Iron Pillar and brazen every walls surrounding us. Act and condemn those who speak guile against You through us and whoever wants our land to be impoverished. Create in us a clean heart and let us remain sanctified for the purpose of Your ordinance; so that Your glory will continue to shine upon us in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all our petitions. Now know we that the Lord saveth His anointed; He will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.” 1 Corinthians 15:25-27 Father, when Thou said all things are put under You, this declaration should be accepted that all things under heaven belongs unto the power of Your might. With this belief: we plead according to the purpose of Your creation; for You to suppress all untimely death in our midst. Forgive and cast away all sinful deposits capable of drawing us into the pit of untimely death, sickness, unemployment, redundancies and any form of accident that can cause injuries and or disability. Redeem us with Your favour, strengthen us with Your joy and let Your Holy Spirit dispel all challenges in a manner that will guarantee our breakthrough in Jesus name. O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.” Psalm 51:12-15 Father; forgive us because of Your mercy and uphold us with Thy free Spirit. Forbid that our sins do not deprive us of Your restoration and infuse in us the privilege to be truly converted unto Your Holy name. Untie our tongues; let them sing aloud of thy righteousness. Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.” Psalm 40:4-5 We bless Your Holy name oh God and we beseech You to validate our trust in You to declare Your works in our lives. Let the validation manifest your glory in us and be more than what can be numbered. We are waiting patiently for Thee Lord; incline Your ear unto us and hear our cries. Bring us out of the world horrible pit and out of the miry clay. Set our feet upon a rock that will establish our goings and comings. Put a new song in our mouth to give You praise. Checking into God’s Presence... “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He kept all his bones: not one of them is broken”. Psalm 34:19-20 Oh Lord and our God; how excellent is Your name. Thou who formed and knew us even from our mother’s womb. We plead through the multitude of Your mercy to deliver us from all afflictions and those that have sworn by their life to bring us down. You promised to keep all bones so that not one of them is broken; You will begin to restore what the enemies thought they had taken forcibly. Heal the wounds and comfort our souls. David in Psalm 34:22 declared- “the Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate”. Father we pray, do not allow our sins to jeopardise this covenant upon us. Let us continue to grow with the values in Your strength. Give and feed us with Your living water so we do not hunger or thirst anymore. Take away our reproach, blot out our shame and remove every power that has sworn to bring us into disrepute. Checking into God’s Presence... “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call”-Joel 2:32 On this day that You have set aside as the Lord’s Day; as we call upon Your name, satisfy our hunger for us to declare Your glory. Let Your word brings relief to every tests in our lives and satisfaction to the hope we have in Thee through Your name. Uproot the confusion in our paths, set the enemies against their plans and guarantee our breakthroughs. What we considered shameful, painful, loss, rejection, dejection desertion and unholy campaign to suppress, castigate and or cast aspersions unto the path You have chosen for us: we pray in Your power to erase them permanently by the power and the covenant proclaimed upon the Blood of the Lamb. Checking into God’s Presence... “The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.” Lamentations 3:24-26 Father in heaven, You have declared and set Your mercy anew every morning; great You also claimed Your faithfulness to be-Remember this covenant through the Blood of the Lamb and declare Your mercy upon us in this new week. From today, let Your mercy speak on our behalf in every areas of needs. You rightly admonished that “it is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.” Father we look up to Thee, while we wait patiently in the hope which guarantees our salvation; remove fear, doubts, deaths, hatred and lacks. Instead, infuse in us breakthroughs, joy, peace, spiritual growth, knowledge and wisdom. In all, give us food worthy of our needs in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... Those who find their lives attributed to any success must have had stories about their failing past incorporated into the stories of such success. What constitutes greatness and success on their part has to be seen through how they managed to rise above every limitation and storms of life: albeit through sheer determination, dedication and by working mainly with the guidance and the principles of God. Looking at the stories of Joseph in the Book of Genesis chapters 37-50; his success stories should not be viewed as a single story as Children of God. Rather, we must see the account of an innocent dreamer who was greatly despised by his own brothers. Joseph was also cast into a pit and later sold into slavery. In spite of these ordeals, we saw how Joseph navigated his way to success because of his desire to keep a very close eye on God’s demands. Therefore, as much as we pray, fast and keep vigil; we must not justify our faith, believe, hope and expectations on the success of Joseph’s life alone. We also have to think about his failures, challenges, setbacks and temptations. Knowing fully well that he was able to overcome them through sheer dedication to purity, humility, honesty, faithfulness, contentment and trustworthiness. These were all achievable because Joseph focused mainly on God’s demands. In Genesis 17:1, God gave a clear instruction to Abraham when He appeared unto him-"I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless.” Can we put our lives on hold and access the true nature of our conduct before God? What are your confession before Christ? Are you truthful with your service to God and do you worship the Lord in truth and holiness? You are the Perpetual Light that can never be hidden; take Your stand in our lives to declare our salvation. Remove lack, lukewarmness, reproach, sickness, lip services and every hand/organisation that constantly seek our downfall. Create in us a clean heart capable of working with you with humility, perseverance, hope, faith, belief and the fear of your Holy name; just like Joseph in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence…

05 April 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... Who are you worshipping? Who is deceiving who? Let us face some facts; we can see ourselves as a Child of God without actually receiving the true conversion meant for those who are of Christ. You can also choose to become a Muslim without the true spirit of Islam. A true convert of God therefore must be ready to worship, serve, learn and be taught about who he or she worships continuously. Today, I want to talk about the church I knew for over 45years. At the beginning, there were great opportunities to serve God through incessant worship, Bible Classes and Choir Practices. These were kept and frequently attended by members whose hearts thirst to know more about God daily. Incessant vigils and fasting as demanded by today’s worship were not that common. Except on the instructions of the Holy Spirit, the Passion Week represented the fasting period and the most popular vigil then was the New Moon Service. Again, this service had been abandoned by many members. The service itself has been replaced with a more popular and very vibrant Revival Programs. While self-made God people are now much more interested in seeking miracles through these programs; than to serve God with all their hearts. They would rather enlist the help of other men and women of God to pray and fast on their behalf. Looking back, I realised there were revival programs then, but they were geared towards those who were yet to become members of God’s family. The Revival sessions were never meant for those who have already accepted Christ as their Lord and Saviour; and prayers were being answered. Tell me, what prophecy can come from a Prophets or Prophetess who do not attend their prayer meetings? How do you expect members who do not attend any church service/bible studies to behave? They are those that many Shepherds try to retain eagerly, with “voluptuous garments” coupled with plum and robust positions in the church. Sadly, they will work to destroy the good foundational system of the church, albeit with vein and vague philosophies. It goes without saying; no one can worship who they do not know. What does the Bible say in Matthew 15: 8-9: “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” No wonder the church is what it is today. We have more churches today than the true worshippers; quite significantly too no one wants to be led. Every church nowadays can boast of more miracle seekers than actual worshippers. So, how true is your worship? Remember what Jesus said in John 4:21-24: “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews” “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” Today l pray to God to give us the Spirit of repentance and our hearts His place of abode. May His righteousness “Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” Amen (Numbers 6:24:26) Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... I have sent you among the heathens as sheep among the wolves was the message drummed into my thoughts throughout the night. When I checked the chapter incorporating the verse; I marvelled. The compelling verses in Matthew 10 goes like this: “But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:6-9 Christians of nowadays, as what are you operating within the congregation of God? How many people have you sent away from the confines of God through fake rumours, fake prophecies and unrelated tales/stories. By what standard have you been raising unnecessary fear, doubts, instigating and castigating members of God’s household? What of molestation, lies, pride, anger, lack of forgiveness and all other vices you have displayed to dismantle the work of God? If your attribute/attitude causes discouragement, discomfort and as a result, people are removed or they remove themselves from the church through your actions; you have to think again about your salvation. Ironically, same Matthew 10 was so clear about the Character of God in relation to the above assessment. “For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” Matthew 10: 19-22 “The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.” Matthew 10:24-26 Talking about the reward which translates to salvation, the chapter concluded; “he that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.” “He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.” Matthew 10:39-41. As a result, “we then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.” “For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” “Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.” Amen (Romans 15:1-7) Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... Tell me, what is your single story about? To build and or destroy? To cause unity and or confusion? Do you see anything good about your church, your Pastor/Shepherd or your husband/wife? Remember, whatever singular story you make up, becomes the slogan of the day which can either create hatred or love. No wonder churches are facing challenges, divorce rate is on the rise, Africa and indeed the whole world can no longer find rest because of so much hate campaign. Let us begin to use our stories to edify the name of God and portray the goodness in people. Quite succinctly, the bible describes everyone as imperfect. “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”-Romans 3:10 and “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”-Romans 3:23 Apostles Paul admonished us on how to maintain Godly relationship in Roman 15:1-2: “We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.” I therefore pray for your peace your household and the peace of the Church- “May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.” For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good. Amen (Psalm 122:6-9) Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

02 April 2019

Checking into God’s Presence... Should serving the Lord be about any association or salvation? Should friendship and or relationship play any part at all in our mode of worship? What about family ties; looking at husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers? Can we allow ourselves to believe that our holy life should be subjected to these sorts of association? Let it be known that any association that does not conform with the right principles of God would act more with negativity against the true doctrine of worship and what the Bible says. As well, one can easily be moved off course and be completely driven from the presence of God unknowingly, where one allows his/her imagination to jade and lure him or her away from any path of righteousness. In an ideal Christian home therefore, salvation should be considered very personal and without laying any claim on the history surrounding family values. To be succinct, salvation is about those who conduct themselves and carry out the will of the Father in heaven. In Matthew 12:47-50, Christ explains who make up the Kingdom of God family. While he was still speaking to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him. But he replied to the man who told him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother." Clearly, this was not about who knows what and who knows who? The overall principle is the desire to carry out the will of the Father. Therefore, what is the Perfect Will of God for you today? Are you toiling on the right path? Is your stance before the Lord based on the way to salvation or quite simply; borne out of some association? God we beseech You; “many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.” Amen (Psalm 3:2-5) Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... Have we ever considered this concept, that being beautiful comes more from the inside of a man than from the outside? What makes any man very beautiful is not the costumes he puts on or the makeup artists he employs. Rather; it is the ability to wear a heart that Jesus Christ commanded in Matthew 22:37-40 in their dispositions. Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Now think about this, the grace of God abounds not by your look, make ups, costumes, titles and donations in the church and or the numbers of religious visits to any holy temples. Know ye that God determines those who are entitled to His unmerited favour and this can only be received according to the works of our hands. Do remember as well that when God decides to give, no one has any power to overrule, suspend and or reapportion to other fellow(s). Have you not heard about the greatness of God and how He apportion riches? He looks deeper into the hearts of men. Most certainly, God doesn’t get attracted to the type of looks, titles or the self-acclaimed religious worship that fools the eyes of all humans. Psalm 113:4-9 describes how the mind of God works. “The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens. Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high, Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth! He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.” Let us take a moment to examine the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19:1-10. He was not only rich but also very popular and his popularity made many to worship him! Zacchaeus left his popularity and treasures on hearing that Jesus was passing by and rushed to catch a glimpse of the famous teacher. Being short of stature, Zacchaeus couldn’t see above the heads of the other followers and his zeal became so undaunted. Zacchaeus spotted a sycamore-fig tree along the path in the direction Jesus was heading. With no time to spare and nothing but his pride to lose, Zacchaeus scrambled up the tree with the intent upon catching a glimpse of Jesus, the friend of all sinners. Jesus spotted his zeal, humility and his labour of love and Christ adequately rewarded him as He decided to dine with him. What are you holding on to that is bigger than your Christ in your strides? Titles are not enough to guarantee the grace of God upon you, not even your facial beauty. Attending constant revival programs with multiple visits to different churches and the state of your emotions cannot justify your means to your salvation. Neither can those attributes change the position of God towards you. By contrast, the grace of God comes unto those who wears Christ heart on the inside and also allows such to shine through in their worship, conducts, zeal and in the works of their hands. According to Your promise, raise us up like the poor out of the dust and the needy out of the dunghill. Set our path on high and make us seat with princes, even with the princesses of his people. By Your power, make the barren woman to keep the house and to be a joyful mother of children so that we can continue to praise You as our Lord in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... Know ye therefore that claiming to live a spirit filled life does not in any way embrace any conclusive view about your stand before the Lord. As well, the perception which allows everyone to see and judge those who are called Children of God by their titles, ages and disposition in any Assembly of Christ may be a clear irony to what God truly wants us to be. In that, what we see on the outside may be a complete opposite on all matters which reigns in many of those hearts that sings praises in God’s Houses on a daily basis. Furthermore, the Bible does not only suggest and support, but it also lay claim to the possibility. And so in Matthew 15:8, a clear comparison was drawn between an outward and inner perception which makes up a complete man- “These people honour me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” Of all the problems in the world therefore, this assertion forms a very grey area which anyone can rely on to perform any effective duties. It shows we all need the intervention of a Supreme Being for the spirit of truth to lead and also play an important role in the assessment we give to everyone; more importantly those who are called after the name of God. It is not a matter of rank, gift of the spirit, age or any material contribution that should describe who you are in Christ. What must qualify an individual first must be how much peace resides inside such person, his/her charitable duties and above all; other attributes that are beyond the necessary accolades that people are fond of. Can I ask, how close are you to God? You may not know: but first ask yourself; how close are you to your neighbours? If your answer is succinct enough: and to the affirmative-be rest assured that you have the ability to measure the distance between you and your God. Oh Lord we beseech Thee to let us be able to honour You not only with our lips but also with our hearts. Keep our feet firmly rooted in Your Ways so they do not walk or run away from Your Presence. Amen Wishing you all a happy and fulfilling week ahead. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... God answered “Kneel-Mail” prayers offered from Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. God also chose to answer the prayers of Moses (at the Red Sea Exodus 14), Daniel in the lion’s den (Daniel 6) and Elijah the prophet in 1 Kings 18:20-40 Why would He not answer yours? Remember His declaration in Jeremiah 33:1-3 which says- “The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the guard: “Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is his name: Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known". Today we declare the Almighty God as our refuge, therefore no evil shall befall us and neither shall any plague come near our dwelling place in Jesus name. As we make the name of the Most High God our habitation may the eyes of the wicked ones never have any impact on us and the hearts of the wicked will not even think about us. The legs of the wicked will never thread our paths and the hands of the wicked will never touch us. God will not leave us nor forsake us, He will fight our battles until peace, joy, good health, long life and Godly Heritage is restored back into our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Checking into God's Presence... Are you an absolute thrill for Christ Kingdom? You can be a very clear example of Christ love or a representation of an empty vessel known by various colours of ranks and sizes. I want to ask categorically, what are you using your power, position and wealth on? Could it be to destroy, castigate, scatter, build and spread unnecessary rumours that are antichrist? If only men are given the taste of the Mind of God; those who are called, seen or classified as His of Child will thread very carefully in every disposition of life. Prophet Jeremiah states in Chapter 2: 7-8: "And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination. The priests said not, Where is the Lord? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit." What therefore can profit a man whose basic drive is to gain the world at all cost? These include titles, wealth and every lurid arguments; albeit in any relationship. Those are the things that do not profit the name of God or any company we are likely to be serving. Such person equally may lose his/her salvation. In Exodus 15: 11-13, Moses portrayed God in a different perception. "Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them." "Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation." On this day therefore we beseech You to continue to lead us in Your Holy habitation for Your Name Sake. Let our stand before You be humbled by the value of Your strength and the reward for those who diligently seek to serve, fear and honor You. Speak Your word today oh Lord, let us be guided by the joy found in the comfort given by the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... The Lord made some declarations upon the life of David in Psalm 89 and they all came to manifestation. Please use your name this morning to declare and also pray along with the following verses to receive in abundance God's mercy, blessings, favour, victory, breakthrough, peace, joy and fruitfulness from God. The Lord pronounced upon David: "I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the sons of wickedness afflict him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted. I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven." Psalm 89:20-29 Father, just like Your pronouncements upon David, do not take away your loving kindness and allow your faithfulness to fail upon us. Grant that Your covenant You will not break and do not alter the things that is gone out of Your lips. Oh Lord; once You swore by Your holiness that You will not lie unto David, by Your name You declared "his seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me". We therefore beseech You to swear by Your name to allow the same covenant of peace You made with David to come to manifestation upon our souls. Through the power of Your holiness, let the guarantee given by the faithfulness in Your name comfort us, remove our guilt and what we bear as shame in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into His Presence... Seeking to find identity in Christ? "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions is not from the Father but it is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever" (1 John 2:15-17) How shall we be judged when our life is all over in relation to the way we have led our lives? What passion are we nurturing? Such that is filled with division, malice, tale bearing, blasphemy, pride, selfishness and extreme hatred? Have you been using your position to exploit the vulnerable so that your light can shine even brighter? Do you honestly think that the next world will reflect your behaviour; where the wicked are rewarded and the innocence condemned? Can you can justify your actions and or defend your conducts when you are faced with all the mysteries you championed whilst in this world? For those you are likely to leave behind, what will be their song about you? Is there actually life for you after death? What sort of memories are you creating surrounding your faith? Who will be waiting for you on the other side? A callous judge, ruthless jury, a merciless executioner or a reception that guarantees a warm welcome into the Hands of the Almighty God? There is always a road that leads nowhere. It may be attractive, exciting and popular. Please note: it bears the hallmark of confusion, mysteries and regrets. On the other hand, there is Christ Way which leads to salvation. It can be trouble shooting and those who wants to ply the route must come with patience, perseverance, trust, hope, faith, charity, forgiveness and above all love. Within Your grace oh Lord we beseech You to give us the privilege to be able to hide our identity in the power of Your name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... It is another day but let us examine who we are truly in Christ. Is my work preserving the Christendom or destroying it? For this sake Solomon makes a difficult decision in 1 Kings 3:16-28 under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Let us see how? One day two women[a] came to King Solomon, and one of them said: Your Majesty, this woman and I live in the same house. Not long ago my baby was born at home, and three days later her baby was born. Nobody else was there with us. One night while we were all asleep, she rolled over on her baby, and he died. Then while I was still asleep, she got up and took my son out of my bed. She put him in her bed, then she put her dead baby next to me. In the morning when I got up to feed my son, I saw that he was dead. But when I looked at him in the light, I knew he wasn’t my son. “No!” the other woman shouted. “He was your son. My baby is alive!” “The dead baby is yours,” the first woman yelled. “Mine is alive!” They argued back and forth in front of Solomon, until finally he said, “Both of you say this live baby is yours. Someone bring me a sword.” A sword was brought, and Solomon ordered, “Cut the baby in half! That way each of you can have part of him.” “Please don’t kill my son,” the baby’s mother screamed. “Your Majesty, I love him very much, but give him to her. Just don’t kill him.” The other woman shouted, “Go ahead and cut him in half. Then neither of us will have the baby.” Solomon said, “Don’t kill the baby.” Then he pointed to the first woman, “She is his real mother. Give the baby to her.” Everyone in Israel was amazed when they heard how Solomon had made his decision. They realized that God had given him wisdom to judge fairly." (1 Kings 3:16-28) In dire situation, do you always forget your Christian duties? Can your attributes be linked to the "First Woman" whose priority was more of preservation than for any personal gains attributable to self-recognition, destruction, pride, lack of humility and respect of holiness? Funny enough, these bear the hallmarks of today's Christianity as we all carry the logo of a very good Christian but deep down who are mine? Link us with your grace and teach us Your peace. Empower us to preserve Your love in all circumstances in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... What can we call a church that suddenly chooses to become a supermarket? A place where offers are listed and listened to before those who are called Christians can worship their God! What are the offers? Titles e.g. Evangelist, Prophet or Prophetess and all other positions alike; just like those positions we vehemently fight for but with certain credentials in the secular world: e.g. manager, chairman etc. What then can we count as loss for the purpose salvation? Is it possible to abandon the mundane things of this world; such as self-righteousness, tales bearing, heresies, pride, hatred, arrogance, fornication, lies, and jealousy and so on: just for you to have Christ as gain? Now let us consider these assertions from Apostle Paul in Philippians 3:6-10. "Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;" Know ye therefore that what systematically kills the faith of self-made Christian revolves round the issues made out of self-righteousness. Undoubtedly, this attributes renounces the ability to fellowship with Christ and also share in the rewards of His sufferings. David in Psalm 58 verse 1 poses a question: "do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?" We beseech Thee oh Lord to let the works of our hands and the thoughts from our hearts speak righteousness. Forbid that our hearts work wickedly against Your precepts and the attributes of our neighbours. With the power in Your name; we ask that You do not allow Your Children to weigh the violence of their hands and indeed of their hearts upon the fellowship we enjoy in every assembly of Christ through Your powerful name. Amen Checking into God's Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... It is another day and surprisingly too many will present themselves before God to worship and to praise Him. But what are your thoughts? Has there been any shift in your ways of life that will make God happy and consider you righteous? Your presence alone in any church service cannot guarantee your righteousness, this is measured according to the works of your heart. Remember what God said in Genesis 6:5. “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” You must also note that the grace of God that is mostly sought after through our worship, frequent revivals, vigils, pilgrimages to holy lands (including Celestial Holy Land) are all dependent on the result of the true assessment of your heart by God. If genuinely you are above board, then see what lies in store for such individual: this is because “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread”. Psalm:37:25 Therefore teachers, Pastors, Shepherds, Prophets, Prophetesses and all visitors to Celestial Holy land including Jerusalem-your thoughts count. Give us this day Lord and the empowerment to think according to Your Ways in Jesus name. Amen Happy Sunday to you all and do have a great day in His Presence today and always. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... Nowadays, those who are called Children of God do have a very common assessment in the way they classify true worship in God’s Sanctuary. Generally, what is true in worship may have stemmed from the number of religious visits made by many to different sanctuary and the act of praying to God in their homes. The notion can also erupt from those who buys and gives what in the household of God. There are clear misconceptions about those who are simply overzealous in their Christian duties. Usually, this attitude acts more as a smokescreen; covering up what their true intentions are in relation to true worship. What is true worship therefore? I once listened to a preacher who quipped: Do you have a hard time letting go of your time to God? Do you always move closer to God in times of needs and or difficulties? What motivates every act in the presence of God? Does your attributes, including giving in the church entails the character of God? Generally, what is forgiveness to you? Do you cause hatred or generates one? Do you lie, cheat and allow anger to unseat and or undermine your spiritual essence? Listen to what Apostle Paul has to say in Hebrews 6:11-12-“And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises”. Consequently, a true worship has to be measured in terms of how eternal your relationship is with God. How much you can pattern your decisions based on Christ principles and not by causing havoc, mischief and hatred under the guys of seeking perfection or a case of holier than thou regime in a world where Christ Himself was considered imperfect but chose to die for the sole purpose of our transgressions. Do remember; “the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner”-Proverbs 11:30-31. I therefore plead, that each one of us should declare and see his/her riches, fame and glory and or achievements based on God’s glory; not on knowledge, personal vendettas, wisdom, beauty, constant revival programs, financial statuses, ages, spiritual gifts and or number of religious visits to all churches including Jerusalem pilgrimage. The Bible is so clear on every attributes we seek to engage ourselves in as a child of God. Only those who are called men of God and indeed children of God always undermine the value of the instruction given to us by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Therefore know from today that irrespective of what you conceive, preach and perpetrate to bring down your neighbours, if it is not God’s will, you shall surely fail because “He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch”. Proverbs 11:28 Oh Lord our God, strengthen our faith and give us the empowerment to declare our riches purely on Your merit through Christ our Saviour.Amen Just Checking into His Presence.

22 March 2019

Checking into God's Presence... Listen to the declarations of the Lord today from the mouth of one of His great prophets. It states- “Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations. You will drink the milk of nations and be nursed at royal breasts. Then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Saviour, your Redeemer, and the Mighty One of Jacob. Instead of bronze I will bring you gold, and silver in place of iron. Instead of wood I will bring you bronze, and iron in place of stones. I will make peace your governor and well-being your ruler. No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise." Amen (Isaiah 60: 15-18) Jehovah Shalom the God of Peace; let Your peace reign in our lives and turn the desolate land to a land filled with prosperity. Mute perpetually wars emanating from evil minds, eyes, tongues and steps running to destroy Your glory in us; out of jealousy and hatred for the greater skills you have deposited in us. Above all; make us a true Apostle that is fit for Your Kingdom. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... Upon all the self-acclaimed Christian virtues and self-righteousness which carries the Mind of God Syndrome; do you have teachable spirit and forgiving heart? Are you fond of lying, cheating and also filled with covetousness? What is peace in your Christian life? Let us examine what Apostle Paul wrote in the Book of Titus Chapter 2:1-5. "But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, and sound in faith, in charity, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Let our mind be renewed timely oh Lord because no one knows anything about what tomorrow holds. Many are the feet running and seeking to destroy Your good name in us; look upon the love in our hearts towards them and bring to nought their schemes. Like the stories of Joseph, let there be a turn around so that Your greatness can manifest for them to be ashamed of their deeds in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... Who is your refuge in your time of need? Definitely you cannot rely on your health, wealth, position, children and strength. They may fail you!!! You can't put your trust on human beings. They may be attached to you for the wrong reasons; ready to cast aspersions to your good works of faith: even where you have not been judged by God. I tell you categorically to put your trust in God and not in the power of your own strength. You must not forget God and be deceived as you enjoy the trust coming from your neighbours. Be rest assured, if you carry God along in your journeys of life, He will never desert you! From the Biblical stories of Joseph, Samson, David, Hannah, Esther and Mordecai: to mention just a few; God proved He is a constant help in the hours of need. That's why David used Psalm 46 to give us so much insight into the Mind of God: In that, to trust in Him is better, surer and can be quite unambiguous. That goes for those who puts their trust in Him. Listen to these... “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah." Amen Psalm 46:1-22 Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "He answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbour as yourself.'" Luke 10:27 Generally, the pursuits of man contradicts the simple journey they should have taken into the heart of God. Such knowledge may be limited due to ignorance in the true word of God. Where such obscurities are less obvious; men can pretend not to know what God says about love concerning Him and their neighbours. A journey with God first starts with loving Him with all our hearts. The second relates very much to that same principle which encourages us to have and to show similar love to our fellow man. In the field of love, God equipped men to be able to define what love is. It means men's love towards God and their neighbours will always be defined by men's character. I once heard a very young man quipped as he preached that "the journey men decides to undertake in life often leads to nowhere", these of course includes all attributes. Upon these assessments men can only base their true love for God upon the love they have for their neighbours. Loving God therefore requires having a healthy relationship with Him. Absolutely, no one can do this without first loving their neighbours as themselves and your love for God depends largely on the true love you have for your neighbours. Similar message was spelt out in John 13:34-35 which states- "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have loved one to another." Are you one of Christ disciples? What is forgiveness to you and how much hatred is eating you up? Why act using the Mind of God? Let it be known that God will be God; irrespective of your castigation and your opinion towards your neighbours and that cannot define what God will do in his/her life. God is not a man that He should lie. Teach us Thy ways Father and uproot all foreign objects that may debar or denounce our true worship with You. Give us the power to truly love our neighbours and the ability to forgive them rightly when we think they have wronged us. We beseech You oh God; to allow our journeys in life to be free from any hurdles capable of destroying the pattern of our relationship with You. And we also pray that You do not permit the way we lead our lives through the love we have for our neighbours to contradict the power of your love for us in Jesus name. Checking into God's Presence... "Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight." Psalm 16:1-4 Father, "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." Psalm 16:11 Grant that Your peace is my delight and Your word becomes a lamp unto my feet. Let my ears understand Your instructions: also open my spiritual eyes, let them see according to Your dictates, direct my heart and make them feel Your love in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." Psalm 37:3-5 The word commitment resonates all over and from the Garden of Eden until now, it has become the key to our day to day activities. Take note; Adam and Eve fell from the position of grace having lost sight of their commitment to the instructions of God. As a result, Genesis Chapter 3:1-24 becomes the vital chapter which explains the missing link in the world and the society at large in relation to the word "commitment"; as we observe and relate to it today. Commitment plays a pivotal role in business, at home, church, work places and between friends; without adequate commitment, love cannot be pursued with enough passion. That alone puts every relationship at risk including our commitment to the work of God. When the level of commitment drops, there is always need to find every excuse to abandon or make a foul of every written law in the book. Therefore; what is the value of your commitment? Remember; Adam and Eve failed in this exercise and so can anyone. "Commit your ways unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." "Delight thyself also in the Lord: and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into His Presence... Consistency is the word for every package we may encounter in life! To continue to achieve greatness in life requires absolute consistency with the attributes that put you in the path of stardom in the first place. It does not matter how you look at it, to maintain such position of glamour brings in some essence of continuity in the pursuit of the desires that strengthened us individually and then make us to stay in the spot light. To a very large extent; consistency determines your relationship with everything in life. At home, school, work, community and in the House of God too; being consistent describes your character which can either make or unmake you as a person. The ability to be consistent stems from the word love in the first place; you must stand on love and stay focused with love in order to have intimate and intrinsic drive which ultimately will give you room for genuine relationship in achieving goals every individual may have set for themselves. By every standard, the same ploy will be used to describe your character; to be considered inconsistent at work, relationships, and home and in the presence of God will always have ugly repercussions. It is therefore necessary to "take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;" (Ephesians 6:13-14) Success in life comes from the determination to consistently maintain and be driven by what is good. It does not matter which company you may find yourself; people will always measure you more by what they see and hear from you, not only about paper qualifications, beauty, recommendations, positions, home, wealth and gifts of the spirit. Matthew 5:16 says "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Whatever you leave intentionally for Satan, he will loot and plunder. "Devil cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have [it] abundantly." (John 10:10) Lead us Heavenly Father, lead us! We rely on You because we cannot face the Devil without your help. Renew our strength, thoughts and vision. Let them be knitted to Yours. Checking into His Presence... Today is another meeting with God. To appreciate the level of His grace we have to treat the welcome gift with surprise. God's promises are very sure; even at that He does not give us the guarantee to live forever. Today should not be seen as an entitlement which is a constant method employed by all to denounce how lucky we are to be in it. It is also the cause that many are regarded as Christians only by name but in utterances, deeds and appearances they are eternity away from the commandments of God. Many have successfully usurped the power and the ability to know what will happen tomorrow, a ploy that has incapacitated every knowledge in them to treat each day as a surprise gift from God. Acting and believing in the power to know what will happen tomorrow sets us up on the same level with God. No wonder the world can boast of lots of Christian but genuinely the world also lack true converts. Are you a true converts? Have you jettisoned every uncharitable conduct in your wardrobe? Do you sometimes go back to the same vomit and flagrantly dishonour the true Christian ethics? The ideal thing is to stop acting as if you know what the next seconds can bring, let alone the audacity to see tomorrow. Therefore today "if we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth." (1 John 1: 6) and "behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. (Revelation 22:7) Please also read Revelation 22: 9-14. Give us the wisdom to honour You Oh Lord not by mouth but from the belly of our hearts; it is the only way to have true worship with You; so help us God. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...
