Checking into God's Presence... "And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so, minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." 1 Peter 4:8-10 God is the Lord of the universe; in His majesty, He allows the rain to fall and the sun to shine upon every individual indiscriminately and irrespective of their conduct before men and God. Let me, therefore, ask this question; do you only see yourself in everything you do? In 1st Corinthians 12:17-20, Apostle Paul declares: "If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact, God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. In like manner, 1 Peter 4: verses 8-10 focuses on Christians' need to use their talents to serve one another. Skills and talents should fill the gaps needed by any organization for meaningful growth and for the group to fulfil and maintain their potentials. As a result, all Christian must be ready to forgive without reservations, show kindness, trust and be obedient in carrying out the dictates of God. They must also be willing to serve gladly in any department they find themselves within the organization. Duties must be without grumbling, complaint and disobedience of any kind. And no one should consider themselves as necessary; instead, each and everyone must practice what Apostle Paul echoed in Colossians 3:23 which states: "whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters," I pray, therefore, using the words Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 60:11, that our gates shall open continually; and "they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought." These blessings will be upon us. As Children of God, may we not be lost in the translation of our faith before Him. May all lukewarm acceptance of Christ, and the torrents of sin heightened and associated with worldly attributes, shall be obliterated by the Holy Spirit. Instead, the Lord will saturates our lives with His priestly principles in Jesus Mighty Name Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...
