Checking into God's Presence... Still very much on this Lenten Season, but l dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if you shall consider the earth, are ye unworthy to judge the minor matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? Much more about things concerning this life? If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to consider the least esteemed in the church. I speak to your shame. Is it so that there is not a wise man among you? No, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? But brother goeth to law with brother and that before the unbelievers. Therefore, there is utterly a fault among you because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not instead take wrong? Why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? 1 Corinthians 6: 1-7 The Bible tells us to confront other sins with truth and also to show love in that respect. Often, Christians generally are always caught in the web of judging others while overlooking their misdemeanours. Therefore, it is effortless to confuse what is true with what we knew, heard, thought, and considered truthful: in our efforts to judge other Christian brothers. Jesus already told us to look at our sin before judging someone else in the Book of Matthew 7: 1-5-"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." May the Almighty God pay us a divine visit today and reduce the neighbours' impact in apportioning judgment to our neighbours. God will allow the wind of favour to blow in our favour, and our cry for help shall always attract the full attention of God. We also plead through God’s mercy for Him to respond to our heart desires speedily, and also look beyond our sins and mistakes with the blood of His son Jesus Christ. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...
