Checking into God's Presence... I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and the Father of all who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ."-Ephesians 4:1-7. When you consider things that were so popular in those days; you won't believe what many did to have them in their possession. Out of desperation, they would have deployed some ugly means to achieve their aims. Their error of judgement would stand forever and so the purpose which took them to their guilt in the first place. Do you know that their responsibility will continue to reverberate even where the person is known to have died? Time have taken over both the culprit and their acquisition. Nowadays; when you think of those things, it is so hard to find them on display. Ultimately, the time has overtaken them silently; and so shall everyone be overwhelmed, recycled and take over with time! Ecclesiastes 3:6 encapsulates- "a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;" Even at that; we can be recycled into something new if we allow the word of God to minister unto daily; as well: that depends on our relationship with Him. What tempts us away from His Presence today would go out of fashion. We will remain in our relationship with God is how much it has been preserved whilst in this world. Therefore, let us "Walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called." (Ephesians 4:1) And "Since we stand before so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, with our eyes set on Jesus, who initiated our faith and will bring it to perfection." Hebrew 12:1-2 states: "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh". Luke 6:44-45 Therefore, we implore You Oh Lord to make us worthy to walk in the vocation wherewith we have been called in "all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; and endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace" Ephesians 4:2 And so shall it be in Jesus Mighty Name.
