Checking into God's Presence...  "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." Romans 12: 1-3 Would you believe that what the hearts of men conceive will naturally determine the state of his body and whether that can be made "a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service? As it is so hard for a man to see what is conceivable in the hearts of men, Prophet Jeremiah offers us a different meaning to the power of God who sees "Even the depths of death and destruction are known by the Lord. How much more does He know the human heart!" Sometimes we forget that God sees and knows everything. "I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings." Jeremiah 17:10 What if God choose to be blind about our conducts? If God does not have the power to see what we do, know, and think, would our behaviour be different? Would we be more careless in how we live and embark on our self-made destructive choices? Often what we believe about God and His faithfulness has a little practical effect on us. Many people forget God and live as if there is no God. We forget that He is always watching and listening to us: even our very silent conversation. We must, therefore, be mindful because God remembers them all! The Bible declares: "For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants." Isaiah 44:3.  Oh Lord our God, we have chosen to come before this New Week as we observe the Lenten Season. We pray You will allow renewing of our minds and transform us so we can "prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God". Enrich us spiritually to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto You in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...
