Checking into Gods Presence...
The passage that came to mind today is 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 which states " This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful".
How well do we measure in the true value of follower-ship of Christ? Whatever answer you have in your minds, let it resemble that which is stated in Matthew 5:16
And it states “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven"
I suppose we all know what our failings are. We also know the ruins many have delivered in the name of Christ.
Many have claimed/claiming to be Christ, a Prophet of His and an Apostle of Him. But only God alone knows who His true followers are. Let it be known that the same way Christ was sent to the world, so also we have all been sent to lead our lives with Christ in it.
John 17:18 as you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world"). 1 Timothy 3:1 states "This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work" Therefore, It is not so much about the office/your office, but about who you truly represent-a servant of Christ, an Apostle of Christ who stands to explain the mysteries surrounding the Works/Words of God through His divine inspiration.
We must therefore be faithful unto man and God to get to that position/maintain the position.
It is not too late to seek the Lord. He comes knocking on your door all the time and only you can open the door. Without any doubt, a lot has to do with His personal invitation into your lives.
May the Grace of God lead us to invite Him today into our lives in Jesus name. Here is wishing you a happy Sunday and a day that is filled with the Lord’s testimonies in Jesus Name. Amen
