Checking into God's Presence... Often we make life choices based on how expensive and attractive the items are, and it is not uncommon for men and women of God to feel comfortable going for branded items to suit their tastes. Can I then ask why we settle for less in the area of worshipping God? Why must those who perceive themselves as credible Christians go into unnecessary moods before deciding where, when, and how to worship? Must we base our mode of worship on the kind of relationship we have with men or with God? Why can't we make our faith in God very expensive instead of falling for any trivial pursuits, quarrels, ego and lack of humility that may eventually hamper our religion and the race to the eternal kingdom? Apostle Paul encapsulates the intrinsic drive we must hold in the manner of our faith in Hebrews 10:19-25: "Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have the confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,  and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.  Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Therefore today, "Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise." I have come to learn and understand that God can make us thrive in our efforts only if we stay upon the above promise.   Now wondering, how many will still choose to fall for everything, contrary to the description given to us in Hebrew 1:1-3. It states: In the past, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days, he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. May the grace of God energize our spiritual life and grant all weaknesses in the life of everyone accelerated speed to recovery in Jesus' Mighty Name.
