Checking into God’s Presence... Let us rejoice in the Name of the Lord, for we have become a new product of His investment as the Lord made us pass through the perils of the night unscathed. Would you believe that within the newness of the day, God has already made provisions for the release of His New Oil with New Grace into the New Day? The only requirement is to lend our endorsement to God’s manner of approach and then become the symbols of what the Lord wants us to represent. We must, however, be concerned if we have not given our lives to Christ. Do you have a son or a daughter who has suddenly turned twenty-one? Has any of your children been married and or started having children? Do you have wrinkles showing on your once radiant face? Is your chest or head filled with unwanted grey hairs that show evidence of what journey you have been through? When you start seeing these signs, please know that eternal time is drawing close. But before we get to that conclusion, is there anything you are doing today that 25years ago would not have bothered you? Or is there anything you can die for now but will not make any significant difference in twenty-five years? We must carefully assess our stance on specific issues that bring us into conflict against all Christian Virtues in all areas. There are some battles we engage in today that are of no importance to the Kingdom principles. And the trueness in God’s Name can only be ascertained if we allow the egos in us to die so that we can begin with the spirit of God to follow His rules and Commandments.   Listen to these: “Again I saw something meaningless under the sun: There was a man all alone; he had neither son nor brother. There was no end to his toil, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth. “For whom am I toiling,” he asked, “and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment?” This too is meaningless—a miserable business!” Ecclesiastes 4:7-8. But how can these be achievable? “These are the commands, decrees, and laws the Lord which God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess. So that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy a long life. Hear, Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase significantly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you. Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and your gates.” Deuteronomy 6:1-9 Let us constantly measure our achievements not so much about what we thought we had lost or what position we felt we should be, but upon the gifts God has given us and where God is still willing to take us. May the Lord be pleased with us and inhabit the spirit of our worship. He will allow His virtues to be evidenced not only by our declaration to worship Him but also in our practices. May God encourages us with the power of His Might to have a wholehearted commitment to His rules and commandments, and in-service, let us not only believe in You but to love, honour and fear Thee in Jesus’ Mighty Name.
