Checking into God’s Presence…
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Have ye suffered so many things in vain? If it is yet in vain. He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.” Galatia 3: 2-9
Let us now focus on our relationship with God; true worship, of course, should be seen as a matter belonging to the hearts of men. The act is not the same when measured in terms of the form gained and portrayed as a result of our religious beliefs.
In that out of our religious duties come some sets of religious rituals. In general terms, however, it has brought some classification by which many are now known.
The same methods are used as a substitute in appeasing God instead of following through on God’s stringent commandments.
Through religious duties/practices, people can only describe your form at face value; they may not be right with the substantive shreds of evidence posed concerning the focus one may be having towards the standards of God and the desire to know Him.
So “even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.” Christians should therefore follow the same principle which encourages them to have faith, trust and believe in God and must relate this to carrying out the injunctions of God.
As we are approaching the end of the year, I pray our divine helper will locate and bless us, and no power of hell will keep us away from where we are supposed to receive our blessings in Jesus name. Amen
