To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth forever." Psalm 136:11-16 O give thanks unto the Lord "who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever: and hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever." Psalm 136: 23-26 In Exodus 15: 11-13, Moses portrayed God following the same perception. "Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them." "Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation." On this day, therefore, we beseech You, oh Lord, to continue to lead us in Your Holy habitation with thanksgiving in our mouths for Your Name Sake.
