Testimony Time:- I am a Christian, but can we assume everyone is covered with the innocence of a child? Should our worship then be susceptible with dubious faith and desires that will eventually be outrun by the law of judgement which is peculiar to the end time? Undoubtedly, we may have the impression that the end time is so far away when compared with the intricacies of life. At the same time end time can be nearer than our thoughts. However, we must know that God is the only power who can set the beginning of time and the end of life, the same way He established the creation. Nonetheless, God presumed Adam and Eve would keep their childhood innocence in the Garden of Eden. It was an opinion that should have maintained three ways relationship between God, Adam and Eve. Even when the three cord relationship was broken by man; God introduced Jesus Christ who later died for the transgression of our sins so that those who believed in Him can still reclaim and amend the broken relationship with their God. John 14:6 says "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Clearly, in Christ we have regained a new relationship with God, only we must abide in Christ so that He can abide in us before we can begin to enjoy the inheritance of heaven. Dearly beloved, let us understand that "In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption" (Ephesians 1:11-14) Why do we then call ourselves Christians without aiming to achieve the heavenly goals which is the salvation for our souls already given to us through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Without this desire, vain is our worship in this world. God, all we want from you is the desire to worship You without fail so that our journey in this sinful world will not amount to vanity in Jesus name.
