February 1

Testimony Time:-It is another month but let us think about the month that is just ended in relation to our sins, transgression and iniquity. We may have found ourselves within the boundaries of the three scenarios even though so many resolutions were made at the beginning of this new year. Exodus 34:5-7 looks into these issue and describes God's relationship with each of them- "And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation." Sin therefore is the transgression of law of some kind and can be divine in nature. This is such that can be found in the story of the creation and the connection to the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden. Iniquity on the other hand is the quality of being evil or unfair; while transgression is simply an act that goes against any code of conduct, offense, a law and or a rule of any kind. In the Christendom, the Bible preaches whoever is found to be guilty of these act would receive no revelation of Jesus Christ (1 John 1:9), except if such person receives a reference point for change at some point (Micah 7:18). Today, I want to remind us that although we were born sinners; the things we did prior to salvation were of no significance when we have come to the light. We would then be right to assume that those earlier guilt were done in ignorance. The best place for sinners to learn about how to outmaneuver the intricacies of sin is in the House of God. Oftentimes, Christians misses the mark and falls short of God's glory because of the natural perception they have in relation to sin, transgression and iniquity. It so true Christians can come to church, but does that mean they have come to repentance? Transgression comes in different guises and causes every partaker to revolt or to trespass in the manner that goes against any established rules/laws; albeit direct or indirectly. Surprisingly though, we all live within those boundaries and to cross each of them really determines if truly we are genuine Christian or not. Lord be mercifuland gracious unto our long suffering. Let the abundance in your goodness and truth, Keep your mercy and forgive our iniquity and transgression from generation unto generation in Jesus name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk http://timetoreachmyheart.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence..
