Checking into Gods Presence...
This platform is designed to relay simple messages through the Word of God daily, to teach, to encourage, to remind and to admonish and through that if only one person is saved the purpose is achieved.
Our hearts should be ready to receive and learn from these messages so that we can begin to apply them to our lives and avoid the mistakes of the past. As a result, we may be able to yield to the dictates of God that offers peace in the face of tribulation.
We constantly claim ignorance in the study of the teachings of Christ and although we put on the highest robes to signify our alliance with Him, we are often far from His Presence. Making heaven is not about robes, prophecies, prayers, fasting, vigils or the amount of revivals you attend.
It is about following His commands as described in Exodus 20. This was simplified by the introduction of Christ who said ‘love the Lord with all your heart and love your neighbour as yourself ‘which is the greatest commandment (Matthew 22:36-40).
Where is the love in this world? It seems to have gone and this is sadly true even in churches today. No one knows what tomorrow holds, yet we all act like we do. We are not the owners of our time so we should stop acting like it.
Seek peace and love until it is found and you will leave a footprint on the sands of time. Father with a heavy heart we come to you to begin to rebuild your temple in us so that it becomes an attraction to our homes in heaven. Amen
