Checking into Gods Presence...
The 2024 Lenten Season is bringing us within the touching distance of Easter Day celebration and we can talk about Christ resurrection amidst the furore of His arrest, crucifixion and death.
And like every other passage in time, life itself has a beginning and an end whether we like it or not. If we now consider time to be passage, what method can we adopt in the practice of Christianity which can link us to the Creator of Time, other than such that will not nail Christ on the cross once again?
Are you marketing your flesh, cheating, or misusing the gifts of prophesies or position? Do the very standard of God you profess to keep and honour remain short in your life? Do people see Christ in you? Please note that if what you wear, profess and represent does not show Christ in you, you are merely a counterfeit and a caricature of Christianity.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Romans 12:2-3
Lord, we pray that you will help us to be true replicas of Christ and not counterfeits. Let our journey with you from this day henceforth brings out a true identity in Christ in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
