Checking into God’s Presence... “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.” 1 Thessalonians 5: 2-10 Often, people can refuse to accept that the grace of God comes naturally to all Children of God irrespective where they are, and it’s always in the form of a gift. However, when we are suitable to receive such a gift through His grace, such advantage must not be taken for granted. It must be valued while we orchestrate belief in the Name of the Lord Almighty. While appreciating the grace, let those “who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.”  In that, we have been described as the children of light and seen as the children of the day. No longer shall we measured by the effects of the night and or fits the result given to or emanating from the position of darkness. Therefore, let us not sleep as do others but to constantly be in spirit, watch, and be sober in the things that relate to God affairs. For those “that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.” For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. Command, therefore, oh Lord with Your Might and declare peace, healing, joy, breakthrough, long life, success and safety to everyone in Jesus Mighty Name.
