Testimony Time:-Who is a prophet? A prophet can be described as an individual who claimed to have been contacted by the supernatural and or divine spirit with the overall purpose to speak as an intermediary between them and the humanity. In religion, messages from the supernatural entity to the people of the world are classified as prophecy. If that should be the case; are you a prophet or prophetess of God and by what means are you prophesying? Do you represent a make believe prophet or prophetess? Have you in anyway misled the people of God under any guise, saying this is what the Lord say when there has not been any interaction between you and the divine spirit of God? If you are in this category, it is possible that you have lied to destroy innocent victims; that prophecy of doom may not mean anything to you until later on in life. Similarly, the illicit gain from your escapades may be very important to you today, but what of your eternity. Prophecies is not just by garments and or by fabrication of stories. You may be able to fool too many people all of the time but quite simply, you cannot fool the divine Spirit of the Lord. "A prophet full of lies would say to you, "I'll preach to you the joys of wine and alcohol!" Is that's just the kind of prophet you would like?" (Micah 2:11) Let me therefore encourage you to read Ezekiel 13:3 which says-"This is what the Sovereign LORD says: What sorrow awaits the false prophets who are following their own imaginations and have seen nothing at all. And falsehood relating to the spirit of God will always be robustly dealt with; whether we like it or not. We beseech you oh Lord to guide our footsteps so that we are not consumed by the desires of this world.
