Testimony Time:-We have taken another step closer to the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ through no other person but The Virgin Mary. (Isaiah 7:14). Through Him, we can claim to be part of the heritage of God the Father in heaven. "And giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. (Colossians 1:12) It is still possible for many to have adjudged God to be unkind and unfaithful to His promises during this festive season. The question therefore is, is God always good when He does what we want? What we fail to apprehend is that there are unwritten contracts between us and God; and whether the contract is seen or not does not mean it does not exists. What we must learn is how to cope with understanding how the Mind of God works and then use that to form a permanent relationship with Him. Remember, Joseph wrestled with understanding the mind of the Lord. (Genesis 37) In life, he went through life's different stages; from pit to prison and then to palace. Surely, we can deduce through his stories that God can still bring ultimate goodness out of wickedness, wretchedness and faithfulness. Christians should however know that God can permit His Goodness to grow by using His Sovereignty. He will always prevent Satan from having any triumphant influence on His covenant for each and everyone. (Psalm 89:34). If God can recycle Joseph into something good; this means we can still find the goodness of God in the face of every tribulation. This is because God has the overriding power to twist the hands of Satan and ensures He meets with His covenant upon us. Lord, you alone are our portion and our cup; you make our lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for us in pleasant places; surely let us all have a delightful inheritance this Season in Jesus name.
