Checking into God's Presence... And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah." 1 King 17: 13-16 Elijah declared to the widow of Zarephath: "Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah."  So, therefore, I command you all to fear not; instead, let us take advantage of this Lenten Season, and begin to act according to God's commandment, working on His instruction through Prophet Elijah to the widow of Zarephath. In the aftermath, her house ate for many days, the barrels of her meal did not waste, and neither did her cruse of oil fail according to the word of the Lord from Prophet Elijah. May we also receive portions of divine success, joy, breakthrough, healing, comfort, long life and peace. And by the power in the Blood of the Lamb, May we be privileged to eat for as many days, the barrel of our meals will not waste, and the cruse of our oil will never fail in Jesus Mighty Name.
