Checking into God's Presence… "Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean. So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me. Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me." John 13:10-20 This Pasion Week, Christ is giving us a perfect example that reminds us to do as He had done to us. In doing so, we must not forget that "the servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them." For Christ said: "He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen:" And so that the scripture under God's covenant unto Abraham is fulfilled, He that eats bread with Christ should also not lift his heel against Him for noncompliance to His commandments. That means we should use this Passion Week period to accept Him fully into our lives, jettison those things classified as mundane things of this world in favour of the fruits of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-25 Lord, we accept You as our Lord and Saviour, speak into our lives today and let us know you have chosen us. We have learned from this Passion Week that You have set Yourself apart as a perfect example in meekness, perseverance, and humility; we beseech You to endow us with the wisdom to follow suits and be obedient to all Your commandments. Checking into God’s Presence… “Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him. Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the Passover? And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at thy house with my disciples. And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them, and they made ready the Passover. Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve. And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.” Matthew 26:14-23 Some 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ was at hand, but He instructed to keep the Passover at the house with the disciples. “And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them, and they made ready the Passover.” Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve. And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. Would You believe that Passion Week offers another opportunity to dip our hands in the same bowl with Christ? Many are also likely to pretend to be having sober reflections in the way they are leading their lives and fasting in the process. After fasting to renounce your old habits and come back to Christ, what next?  Would you go back to your vomit and betray Christ once again? I pray for the mercy of the Lord to overwhelm us and the favour of God to be our portion. May the fame and joy associated with the triumphant entry of Christ into Jerusalem encompass our lives and strengthen our faith in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God’s Presence... Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my Name. And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me; And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified. Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord and my work with my God. And now, saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God shall be my strength.  And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him, whom man despiseth, to him, whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee. Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;” Isaiah 49: 1-8 Lord, You have called us from our mother’s womb and the bowels of our mothers. You made mention of our Name, we plead You will not allow us to labour in vain and spend our strength in fasting at this period for nought. This Passion Week let our work and thoughts be with You. Also, allow our efforts to be glorious before those who consistently mock us. May You continue to be our strength, oh Lord and the light that will restore and preserve our lives as we worship Thee in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God’s Presence...  “Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.” Isaiah 42:1-9 It is another time to celebrate a new day within Passion Week in the year 2021. Undoubtedly we may be fasting, and our demands to the things of the flesh may be none or somewhat low; irrespective, we must not forget the assurance given above by Prophet Isaiah to remind us about the awesomeness of the Lord. The statement of facts states- “I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.” Therefore, I challenge you all to consider your former sins to be no more as you have received redemption from them all. For the Lord to bring you to this year celebration: believe that He had “spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles”. Go ye therefore from today and begin to enjoy the covenant of peace, joy, breakthrough, healing and long life in Christ Jesus because the Lord made you the light of the Gentiles because of the suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ during this period some 2000 years ago in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... " Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? And they said, The Lord hath need of him. And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest." Luke 19:30-38 On this same day over 2000 years ago, Christ rode triumphantly into Jerusalem on a colt to the gleefulness of many: both friends and enemies alike.  However, riding into the city of Jerusalem on a donkey symbolizes arrival in peace. That entry portrayed Him not as a war-waging king arriving on a horse. Therefore on this day, Christ solemnly entered as a humble King of peace in a manner that signified His final entry into Jerusalem because Christ had already been to Jerusalem severally to celebrate different kinds of feasts.  Therefore, the celebration of Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the Holy Week, and it also signifies the final week of the Lenten Season. Although the people placed palm branches to cover the path of Jesus Christ amidst jubilation, we must also not forget that the jubilation preceded the Holy Thursday's arrest and ultimately His crucifixion on the Good Friday. However, Christ decided to pay the price of our sins to begin to have a peaceful relationship with our Lord and Maker. But do you worship Him in peace? Are you also living in harmony, and how friendly is your relationship with God? Remember that your state of mind to God's dictates, either positively or negatively, cannot in any way change the Lord's position. For us to receive peace of mind from His glory, we must first accept the fact that "blessed therefore be the King that cometh in the Name of the Lord: peace in heaven and glory in the highest".  Happy Palm Sunday to everyone. Checking into God's Presence...  "Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth. I love them that love me, and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures. The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.  When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:" Proverbs 8:14-27 On this day, therefore, I want you all to remember the greatness of our Lord Jesus Christ as we pray using His Holy Name. He had been reigning when there were no depths in this world and was brought forth with no fountains abounding with water just before any mountains became settled. As yet before, God decided to form the earth and the fields; including the highest part of the dust and the heavens were put in place; Christ was there! Christ was also on hand before God set up a compass upon the face of the depth, and the world was finally prepared. Why must we forsake God? Why should we not recognize His supremacy? God sincerely loves those who love Him, and He proclaims that those who seek Him early shall find Him. Riches and honour that thou eagerly sought after belongs to Him, and they are ready to be passed unto if we pursue His durable riches and righteousness. I must warn that His fruits are better than gold and revenue more acceptable than the choice made out of silver. Lead us, therefore, oh God in the ways of righteousness. As we sojourn amid the paths of Your judgment we plead You will cause those that love You to inherit Your divine substance. Begin to fill our hearts with the treasures of heaven and possess us with the same power that contained the world from the beginning of creation. Checking into God's Presence... "O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. Hear; for I will speak of excellent things, and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak the truth, and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate." Proverbs 8: 5-13 "O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart" and know ye that the Lord will never go on vacation. Therefore, let all the words of your mouths be considered righteousness and allow nothing to be "froward or perverse in them". Let those words be plain and without ambiguities to them that desire to know God and wants to pursue His eternal glory with wisdom that eschews all repercussions.  I pray you all to receive God's instruction today and not those borne out of silver or choice made out of gold and the mundane things of this world. Instead, let the knowledge ooze out of the divine spirit of God, which agrees with the notion that suggests wisdom to be better than rubies, always! I, therefore, preach to you to let all the things you may desire not compared to the understanding received through the knowledge of God. That wisdom dwells with prudence and does not rely on experience made out of witty inventions or conventions.  Let it be known that "the fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth," and the Lord vehemently hates the idea. Therefore I pray against those things that sponsor our attributes into difficult situations before God to be cast out. The arrow that spreads bitterness to ruin our lives through shame, illnesses, death and lack of accomplishment shall be humiliated and replaced with joy, comfort, peace, long life, good health and heavenly riches in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... "I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring[b] all nations on earth will be blessed,[c] because you have obeyed me." Genesis 22:17-18   Our Father in heaven; hallowed be Thy Name, we have come to You on this new day, we beseech You to let Your instruction have a place in our hearts. With Your power, Thou guided Abraham, and he did not withhold his son from You and intended to offer him as a sacrifice unto You according to the instruction given through Your angel. Therefore, let our worship, praise and offering come from the hearts that has been marked with obedience to Your words. "Isaac also spoke up "and said to his father Abraham, "Father?" "Yes, my son?" Abraham replied. "The fire and wood are here," Isaac said, "but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?" Abraham answered, "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." And the two of them went on together." Genesis 22:7-8 Therefore let our supplications today come from the mountain of Your provisions. Bless each and everyone like Abraham and make our "descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sands on the seashore.  We plead by Your Name to ensure that our descendants take possession of the cities of their enemies". Swear also by Your Name to forgive and listen to our pleas each time we offer prayers and thanks offering unto Your Holy Name. Checking into God's Presence...  O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar. Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night, his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life. I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God? Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God." Psalm 42: 6-11 O my God, how have our souls been cast down within us? Therefore today, we will remember Thee and Your great works from the story of creation, and we are fully persuaded and convinced that the hands that kept us till now from the deep and the noise of the waterspouts will make sure that the waves, the tempest and the billows of our lives are cast off. The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the day and in the night time to sing the song of mercy, victory, joy and peace upon our lives so we can begin to shine. God's abundant grace shall manifest upon us, and our prayers to the God of all flesh shall come to fulfilment in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence...  "As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance." Psalm 42:1-5 Our tears may have been our meat all day and night, and many continually say unto us, where is our God? And when we remember these oh God, we pour our souls unto You. And we command, whatever the enemies may have programmed into the sun, moon, and the stars concerning our lives that brings adverse effects, we beseech Thee to scatter them in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. We also plead that You will give us a financial breakthrough and allow Your Glory that surpasses all human understanding to radiate in our lives so we do not borrow. Checking into God's Presence... "But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them. Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer. Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house. Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips. Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work. I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man." Proverbs 24: 25-34 Listen to these assertions by King Solomon Children of God: "Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house. Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips. Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work. “Do always act as a false witness by deception and do you avenge on any wrongdoing as with this statement-"I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work."? What of those statements classified as "white lies" emanating from our lips? Seriously, do you think that these attributes will not have any adverse effect on the kind of relationship we have with our God?  For the genuine perception of the value of the Lord Jesus Christ on each life; we plead to You oh God to touch the minds of everyone today, forbid that through the confessions coming from our lips, we fail to continue to hatch the plans that can bring the downfall of each other on any matter. We pray as Thou commanded that You will permit us with the guidance of the Holy Spirit to be able to show You love as a result of the care and concern we exhibit to our neighbours. And may we begin to enjoy God's freedom by the power that walks in us and every situation through Jesus Christ our DELIVERER. Checking into God's Presence...  Generally, those called Children of God often stand in clear denial of those things that always cause separation between them and God. Therefore we can all accept that it is always true that our conscience pricks when we are about to enter into things that do not bring unity between us and the word of God. Again in Proverbs 24:13-24, King Solomon entreats us on those things:- "My son, eat thou, honey because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.  Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place: For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the Lord see it, and it displeases him, and he turns away his wrath from him. Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked: For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out. My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both? These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have the respect of persons in judgment. He that saith unto the wicked, Thou are righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:"  In the run up to Easter Day celebration, I pray that as the Lord did in the life of Joseph in the Book of Genesis; using his enemies as the stepping stones to galvanize him into his realm of success; so too the Lord will turn the deceit of the enemies in our lives and use them to fortify our position to attain His riches, breakthrough and excellence. May the Lord replace those enemies with pleasant people and give us everlasting joy, sound mind and allow our divine encounter to manifest in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence...  Do you lack any knowledge in the race to the eternal kingdom? Indeed you may have been given the power by God according to Prophet Jeremiah 29: 11-14, which states- "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive", but you maintain those promises without working towards them? Therefore, "Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them. For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.  Through wisdom is an house built; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in a multitude of counsellors, there is safety. Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate. He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person. The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;" If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? And he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? - Proverbs 24: 1-12 It's as simple as that, so fear not and do not worry. Just love abundantly, trust God passionately, believe in His instructions and watch His grace continue to overwhelm you. It is not uncommon, oh Lord, for the Devil to try and take us away from Your presence, shatter his plan by Your grace and prevent us from suffering any afflictions set through him in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... Is it possible for the generality of human beings to always find strength in their expression of love, even if one needs to forgive his/her brother to achieve this purpose? Do you also know that God created it to naturally use their status, age, and rank, including some self-inflicted righteousness, to perpetrate a hate campaign that does not tally with what the Bible says on love? In 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, Apostle Paul says so much about the ways of love. And it states: - "If I speak in the tongues of men and angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its way; it is not irritable or resentful;[b] it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. Checking into God's Presence...  "But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath, the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion. When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures. Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them." Jeremiah 10:10-14  Talking about the judgement of tastes tells us so much about who we are in our Christian life. Against the backdrop of God's prominence, Who shows Himself constantly as the true God, the living God and an everlasting king. The Lord is "the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;" at his wrath, the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation." “He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion. When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightning's with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures."  Wondering why those who worship God must find it convenient to change their minds in pursuing what they confess originally before God. They make a covenant and forgets the promises surrounding those covenant. Oftentimes, this creates problems for human beings. On the other hand, God does not change; but can only delay in fulfilling His covenant. When God created the earth, it was with the purpose for men to take absolute dominion. Men, however, used their hands to dismantle the true purpose of God's plan upon the earth, and constantly using their imagination to toy with the dominance of God's reign. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your dominance in our lives. We invite You to graciously bless our souls this Lenten Season, and grant us the desire to always to want to work according to Your dictates. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, and let the attributes of the true gospel dispel the encroachment of satanic influences upon us in Jesus Mighty Name. And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah." 1 King 17: 13-16 Elijah declared to the widow of Zarephath: "Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. In the aftermath, her house ate for many days, the barrels of her meal did not waste, and neither did her cruse of oil fail according to the word of the Lord from Prophet Elijah. May we also receive portions of divine success, joy, breakthrough, healing, comfort, long life and peace. And by the power in the Blood of the Lamb, May we be privileged to eat for as many days, the barrel of our meals will not waste, and the cruse of our oil will never fail in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence...  And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. And Judah gathered themselves together to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah; they came to seek the Lord. And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court, And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? And rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? And in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee? Art, not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham, thy friend forever? And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying, If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help." 2 Chronicles 20:3-9 To always seek the Lord's face is not a taboo; this routine was in existence more than two thousand years ago, judging from the above bible passage. Seeking the face of God in all our endeavours opens up eternal and divine investment and ensures that, in return, those who follow the pattern will always receive the Lord's blessing. As King Jehoshaphat declared, "And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? And rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? In thine hand, is there not power and might, so that none can withstand thee?; In like manner, those who seek God's face in all things can expect their clothes of blessings not to wear out, and the cruse of their oil will not fail them. God's divine investment would have taken over the zeal in their level of faith.  Make us victorious in the power of Your Name, oh Lord, and none of Your Children shall beg for food. We beseech You to take part with them that help us and let Your mercy declare peace upon us. With Your grace, forbid from having any repercussions from this world's troubles, which includes humiliation, shame, rejection, and sadness. Checking into God's Presence... "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Wives, submit yourselves unto your husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and be not bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well-pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God; And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons." Colossians 3:16-25 As children of God, we must always remember that God did not bring us to another Lenten Season to shame us. Therefore, we must allow the word of Christ to dwell in us richly in all wisdom; "teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our hearts to the Lord". We must walk in the spirit, truth and worship the Lord God in honesty, working to build a house for ourselves in heaven through our conduct in this world. As a wise woman, we must be able to pray, fast, and love throughout every season. And like Christ, we must be able to clothe the naked, counsel the sick and go into praise when going through some agonies. We must keep going and not be weary in any form or shape, and we shall see the walls of limitations broken down by God’s grace. We have to be prayerful, also nurturing men and women unto the path of righteousness, constantly arming ourselves with the breastplate of truth. “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him." "in singleness of heart, fearing God; And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons." Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. We must, therefore, trust God, His plans, and also believe that His goodness and mercy shall follow us throughout the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time when ye lived in them." Colossians 3:1-7 How far have you worked with God, and what are the things you want, and also wants to delete for the hand of God to touch your life for the manifestation of your destiny? We should be mindful that human beings are known to falter in the ways of God when they fail to listen and carry out His instructions. Where then have you taken the Name of Christ? Have you formed the habit of glorifying men instead of God? In Colossians 3:1, Apostle Paul admonishes that "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." Let us, therefore, rededicate our lives back to God because God has a purpose for our creation. He wants us to take dominion and multiply! Remember that Noah built an Ark for God; his attributes towards God's work has become a song to all a sundry in the Christian world today. He was not wayward under any guise, and he received the blessings of God. Therefore, to work with God, it is necessary to eschew the tendency to walk in dubious ways and remain firm in our faith and the race to God's eternal Kingdom. For "when Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Checking into God's Presence... “The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.  The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.  Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence". Psalm 16: 5-11 Listen to this: some people have never thanked God for what He has done before in their lives, and some come regularly with the promise that I will but never. Let me assure you that we must always set the Lord before us; if He is at our right hand, we shall not be moved. Call upon the Lord in distress: "the Lord will answer you and set you in a prominent place. What can man do unto you if the Lord is on Your side? Let me assure you that "it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is also better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes" Therefore, shall we see our desires upon them that hate us. Make your heart glad as you go before Him constantly. Thank Him and allow your flesh to rest in the hope of the promise about His resurrection. For God will not leave Your soul in hell because all He requires is a heart that comes to repentance. Neither would God suffer or allow His Holy One to see corruption so that the Bloodshed for the remission of sins would be enough atonement for our sins. Oh Lord, as we come to Thy presence during this Lenten Season, show us the path of life that will continue to give our spirit counsel in all Your ways. Let our reins instruct us in the night and all seasons. Empower us to set You always before us: and be at our right hand so we shall not be moved in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence...  "And now, O Lord my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David, my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in. And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude. Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people that I may discern between good and bad: for who can judge this thy so great a people? And the speech pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing. And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment; Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days. And if thou wilt walks in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days." 1 Kings 3: 7-14 Father, make our sojourn in this world to be peaceful as we beseech Thee to give us a wise and understanding heart to navigate righteously within Your rules. Empower us to do according to Thy words, for there is no King like Thee and neither shall any King arise like unto Thee. Give us riches that we have not asked from Thee and honour, joy and the desire always to want to walk in Your ways all the days of our lives. Empower us to walk in Thy ways so that the covenant Thou made with David which states- “And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days". We pray You will empower us to be circumspect in our ways for this blessings to come to fulfilment in our lifetime. Checking into God's Presence...  "For thus saith, the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.   And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God. I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment." Ezekiel 34:11-16 Now listen to these: all those who have refused to be your friends and are bent on looking for your downfall- God says- "As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.   And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country. Checking into God's Presence... "Trust in the Lord, and do good, so shalt thou dwells in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as to the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass." Psalm 37:3-7 Father, Your word proclaims we should "delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; also trust in him, and he shall bring it to pass." We, therefore, announce by delight we have in Your Name, that our silent periods are over, and the heavens will assign today as our day of joy, which shall never be overtaken by any act that brings sorrow. I declare today that God "shall bring forth His righteousness as the light, and His judgment as to the noonday, and shall be empowered to "rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him. May God use this Lenten Period to satisfy our desires, where we have been ignored, we shall be celebrated, and our testimonies shall be earth shaken, mind-blowing, life-changing and head bowing in Jesus Mighty Name. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings? They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house, and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see the light. O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me. There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down and shall not be able to rise." We also pray that you will allow our relationship with our children to thrive, our businesses to progress, our ministries to rise above any satanic attack, our marital lives to be blessed, and our nations be redeemed from any incidence of satanic bondage. Through our fervent prayers, we establish supernatural miracles to take charge of our affairs and eschew any untimely deaths due to knife crimes, gun and drug cultures and indeed any tendency to be kidnapped. Through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, You chose Jesus Christ according to Your foreknowledge, and You sprinkled His blood so that Grace and peace can be ours in abundance. Let that Perfect Blood of the Lamb begin to destroy all works of darkness in our lives according to Your Covenant of peace upon us in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... "And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attend unto the prayer made in this place. For now, have I chosen and sanctified this house that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments; Then will I establish the throne of thy kingdom, according to as I have covenanted with David, thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel." 2 Chronicles 7: 12-18 Today, we want to remind You of Your Covenant which states;- "if My people which are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will You hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and You will heal their land". And for this Lenten Season, let Your eyes be opened to our requests today, and Your ears become attentive to our silent prayers that are made in our hearts as we believe in the power of Your Holy name. We beseech You to Choose to sanctify the prayers so they can be acceptable unto Thee. Declare that Your name becomes paramount in our hearts forever. Let Your eyes and Your heart governs our thoughts perpetually for the sake of Your covenant with Abraham today. Make these prayers Holy and acceptable unto You so that we will continue to receive favour everywhere we go.  Your word says: "if your ways please Him, He will make your enemies to be at peace with you". Whoever deliberately opposes our progress, I ask the Lord to give such person the spirit of repentance while I bind and cast away the spirit that goes on to oppose us in any way to be at peace with us in Jesus name. Checking into God's Presence... "And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee." Genesis 13:14-17 Check your palms; you'll see some wonderful and natural lines, but can you erase them? So be assured that nothing can erase God's plan for you. After Lot was separated from Abraham, God made a covenant with Abraham saying: "Lift up now thine eyes and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. The above covenant with Abraham in the Book of Genesis resonates throughout the whole Bible as God began to fulfil His promises unto Abraham through his descendants. And so in Leviticus 26:42, the Lord says to one of Abraham descendants that-"Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land". Apostle Paul also reiterates the fulfilment of this promise in Galatians 3:8-9, and it states: "And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham." I, therefore, pray through the power of the Holy Spirit that nothing will erase God's plan for us this Lenten Season. Let the assurance gained from God's covenant with Abraham bring victory that will take us to the next level. I also pray to God to make us rests on the power of His love, famous for the right reasons, and allow our accusers to lose their relevancy in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight and the rough places plain: And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." Isaiah 40: 1-5 As we eagerly expect tomorrow, which God did not promise, I pray that all our expectations in life will surely come to pass. The Lord is speaking comfortably to us today that our warfare is accomplished and our iniquity is pardoned: "for we hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins". I pray for God's grace to be sufficient in all we do. Do you know that God's mercy cannot cease because "they are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."? Therefore His love is genuine, His promise is sure, and He is too faithful to fail. This Lenten Season, may God grant us reasons to smile and perfect all that concerns us. God will grant us seasons of perfection and guarantee our pleasant surprises. God said, "they that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before Him and His enemy shall lick the dust". For, “Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight and the rough places plain: And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it” I, therefore, decree into our lives that; all the enemies impeding our progress in a manner that causes our hearts to be saddened shall lick the dust for our victory is assured, and we are going higher and higher in Jesus Mighty Name Amen. Checking into God's Presence... "He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea and from the river unto the ends of the earth. They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. He shall spare the poor and needy and shall save the souls of the needy. He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight." Psalm 72: 6-14 On this Mercy Day, I pray for our blessings to come down like rain upon the mown grass, and as showers that water the earth. "In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth". As we can never see yesterday again in life, so we shall never experience failure, disappointment, death, sickness, pains and sorrow in your life. I also decree we shall have dominion from sea to sea and from the river unto the ends of the earth. The Lord Almighty will have mercy on us, we shall overtake our competitors, and our blessings shall come beyond the wildest imagination of our enemies. I also pray that our hands shall be a touch of wealth and prosperity, and our names shall bring smiles to the lips of many that come in contact with us. May our goals and vision be realized, and ideas that will bring us greatness will begin to flood our minds. As we have been able to see today, all-round favour of opened doors, good health, long life and prosperity shall be ours in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence...  "Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall: The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren." Genesis 49: 22-26 This Lenten Season, I encourage you to emulate Joseph's story in the Book of Genesis and never try to run away from God despite any problems. I challenge you to run to Him like Joseph; if and when we go through torments of afflictions, setbacks, disappointments, failures, sicknesses, and rejections, and whether we have been heartbroken under any guise. We have to remember, when the Lord leads us out of these challenges, we must never forget His Commandments whenever we come out of any tribulations. We must always form the habit of asking God to take more of us and give us more of Him in all circumstances. The Bible states that Joseph's brothers eventually bowed to him: I pray that those that have vowed to mock us in life shall subsequently bow down for us! Harman also disgraced himself because of Mordecai, l pray on this second day of March that those strong men standing against the gates of our successes shall also be humiliated in Jesus Mighty Name. All evil contractors assigned to capture our destinies as Delilah did to Samson shall humble themselves before us! And, as God empowers the sea to dominate and flow over the land, so shall we flourish beyond every limitation, and all delayed testimonies shall begin to locate and fortify us in Jesus Mighty Name.
