Checking into God's Presence...  I present to you the same month celebrated as new some fourteen days ago; now it is on the halfway mark, and so this New Year will ultimately follow the same pattern. The critical question is: have you started to transgress and move away from the instructions of God, and your New Year resolutions? I want to remind you how the people of Nineveh abandoned the ways of their transgression and received forgiveness from God. They accepted the words of God brought to them through Prophet Jonah in the Book of Jonah chapter 3: 1-10. And it states: "and the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried and said Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.  For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger that we perish not?  And God saw their works that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not." I decree that we will receive such mercy from God today, and He will forgive and forget our transgressions. I also commit every one into the capable hands of our Lord Almighty: to guide, protect and pilot us in the right direction. May God keep, bless and cause His face to shine upon us as we move deeper into the New Year. The Lord God will save and remove us from any disaster, and all things shall work for our good from today and forever. We shall by His Grace, made free from all negative influences of this world. And every counsel of the wicked upon our lives is at this moment cancelled through God’s special grace. Therefore, I encourage everyone to arise and step into the riches of the Abrahamic covenant, and begin to dominate your environment in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
