Checking into God's Presence... And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.” Romans 15:12-14 Goodness is an attribute of God which all Christian should not only exhibit but also practice with true intent and purposes. Genuine Christian must be open, generous in the expression of their love to others and display always the attributes of forgiving spirit. Above all, it must be said that there is some kind of peaceful feelings associated with goodness. This gives power and greatness to the extent that Christians can now declare "therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God." “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost” Therefore and in this New Year oh Lord; guide us with Your goodness and let Your kindness show through us in all manifestations. For Your Word says: “I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God. For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed.” Romans 15: 17-18 Again we plead in Your name to allow the virtues of Christ to overwhelm, prepare and strengthen us purposefully: mainly for actions relating to the true love of God. With Your Might, ensure we continuously make sincere attempt and also take valid strides surrounding the will to do what is good in all circumstances: not only for this Year but always; unto You in Your service and in our relationship with our neighbours in Jesus Name.
