Checking into God's Presence... People who judge will always leave themselves exposed by the same standard they have used in judging others. It is possible for them to choose to be oblivious to the many standards they have broken as they pry and try to scrutinize other people's conducts. Let it be known therefore that no matter how much we learn, preach and teach; perfection is truly a distance goal no one can ever reach fully. In that, whilst we are busy judging others, we tend to safeguard ourselves better than what Christ did, prescribed or preached about perfection. How then should we describe ourselves when we judge ourselves by some vain principles? Apostle Paul in Philippians 2:1-5 says: "If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteems other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" Therefore, let those who teach perfection be careful not to see themselves as Christ. Let them refrain from using the "Eye of God" syndrome to measure the moral standards of others. It is always easy to assume the role of moral managers of other people's conduct even though we all carry the stigma of imperfections. Ecclesiastes 7: 20-21 explains -"indeed there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins. Do not pay attention to every word people say, or you may hear your servant cursing you for you know in your heart that many times you yourself have cursed others. "As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;" Romans 3:10 Do teach, preach and counsel with lowliness of mind and without the mouth piece of "I am perfect". Don't castigate in the interest of Christ and do keep abreast that we can only hate others when we use our own standards to judge. Teach us your ways Father and make them simple to tread. Give us Your vision, make them so familiar to reach. Open our understanding, let us be able to love ourselves as Christ chose to love us in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...
