Checking into God's Presence... "And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, a host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that are with us are more than they that are with them."-2 Kings 6:15-16 I therefore pray through the name that is above all other names-that God should remove all incidences of fear, confusion, unhappiness and lack of breakthrough in our lives. I declare, not by private or personal interpretation but through His Holy Name that God had already declared and deposited fulfilment into the sources of our glory; I command through His power that every obstruction currently echoing sordid experiences peculiar to that of the walls of Jericho to be forcefully pulled down today by the Blood of the Lamb. I cast away and bind; all marital aches, permanent issue that negates conception, indelible marks that obstruct favours from men and challenges faced from any monthly woes. I remove through the strength of His power: disappointment of any kind, parental inadequacy which surrenders our wards to social services; either negligently or otherwise and cases of unemployment through redundancies, ill health and or any disciplinary action in our work places. In 2 Kings 2:16, the man of God declared: "Fear not: for they that are with us are more than they that are with them". Father, if truly Your word is life, take away our sins and breathe freshness into all the declarations I make today through Your grace. Let us live and make genuine turnaround that will lead us away from the constant fear we go through in life which can be filled with enormous uncertainties. We plead You will give us the discerning spirit to overcome these traits in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."-Philippians 2:9-11 Father on this special day we exalt Your name because You have given Your Son a name that is above every name; I pray through this name that no affliction will befall us. and that every issue relating to barrenness shall be erased and turn to fruitfulness. I pray against any financial loss, sudden death, sickness and unruly behaviour from our children. We beseech You to speak through Your name and restore joy in to our financial positions. Father; embrace us with Your Mighty Hands for our healing to be complete. Where we have suffered any loss to death; let us receive enough comfort that will wipe our tears away. We cling unto the assurances given by the name that is above every name that our children will not die before us, all negative pressure associated with peer group culture will not overwhelm them. In every area of their pursuit our children will always be outstanding. Empower us against all satanic influences and make us grow spiritually. Extend our growth in You to reflect in our conduct in Your ministries. Give us spiritual eyes to begin to see our works/duties in Your vineyards as a calling and not as ordinary jobs. As we bow and kneel before You today through the name of Your Son: a name that is above every name in heaven and on earth and under the earth: Let every tongue belonging to those who are called by Your name and through the glory You have deposited in them; be able to confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, all to Your glory because You are the God the Father. Amen Just Checking into His Presence..

Checking into God's Presence... "Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills;" " A land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills." Deuteronomy 8:6-9 Father in heaven; we want to thank You for the precious gift of another day. As we open our mouths to pray: we ask that You empower us to observe the commands of Your Word, walking in obedience in a way that submits our thoughts and practices to Your Name. As we set out today to pursue our daily bread, bring us into a good land: "a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills;" With Your power, take us to "a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; “A land where bread will not be scarce so that we will lack nothing" Give our souls spiritual strength, enough to satisfy our desires, assure our peace, give us joy, victory and blessing and direct our steps to the land "where the rocks are iron and we can dig copper out of the hills" All these we ask according to Your name and riches in glory in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence..

Checking into God's Presence... "But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." Isaiah 43:1-2 Behold the declaration of God upon our lives as we are about to step into the second month in the year 2020 Fear not: for God have redeemed us so we can be called by His name and there is no doubt that we are His. When we pass through the stormy waters of uncertainties, doubts, hatred of all kinds, failures, disappointment, suppression, repression, redundancies, unemployment and any form of negativity; may God show His might as God and deliver us. I declare through the righteousness of His name for God to lift us up with His Hand and take us through the stormy rivers of life so we don't suffer from the overflow. Where and when we walk through the fire of life; we shall not be burned and the assurances given through God's Holy name in the scriptures will not allow the potency of the flame to have any impact upon us. May God give us the empowerment that will satisfy us with the need to walk circumspectly under His grace and without fear; but to constantly have a heart that is filled with the need to offer thanksgiving in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence..

Checking into God's Presence... “Thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents, And have mercy on his dwelling places; The city shall be built upon its own mound, And the palace shall remain according to its own plan. Then out of them shall precede thanksgivingAnd the voice of those who make merry; l will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small."-Jeremiah 30: 8-19 Lord: as we come before you today; if there is any voice of trembling, of fear, disappointment and stagnation among us; I plead through the blood that was shed by Your Son that they begin to experience peace. With the saving strength of Your right hand, save us even from afar and releaseour seeds from the land of their captivity. Empower us with Your grace and return us to the place of our rest. Let those who rise up against us be quiet and do not allow no one to make us afraid. Father, if indeed Your word declared that You are with us, begin to save us from the perils and the dangers caused by those who use their mouth to destroy us for their own gain. Let our children grow and be like olive round the table. Set our handiwork according to the instructions You gave before- to our forefathers. Establish every congregation set upon Your name and reduce to nothing all those who stand purposely to oppress and or suppress those who are called by Your name. Cause us to draw near to You, as we do we plead that in Your name You will raise governors, nobles, kings, champions and rulers of all kinds among us. According to Your covenant which says-‘You shall be My people, And I will be your God.’”- remove every pain, tribulations, sorrow and disappointment which puts a man in labour as if with a child. Deliver every man whose face has turned pale and whose hands are on their loins like a woman in labour because of incessant challenges. ‘For it shall come to pass in that day,’ Says the Lord of hosts, ‘That I will break his yoke from your neck, And will burst your bonds; Foreigners shall no more enslave them." Jeremiah 8 "For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord," Jeremiah 30:17. Declare these blessings upon us today in Jesus Name. “The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength." "Those who were full hire themselves out for food, but those who were hungry are hungry no more. She who was barren has borne seven children, but she who has had many sons pines away." “The Lord brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up."-1 Samuel 2:4-6 Sometimes as Your mighty men, we may be thinking we have fallen, our bows as warriors presumably too may have been broken or tampered with by the enemies; Even so and because we are Your generals God; I decree through the power of Your holiness that we shall not be subdued, we shall not be taken into captivity or enjoy any state of failure. We shall not be overcome by any distress and neither shall we bow or surrender to any disappointment. May God use His arm to defend, empower and take us away from the position of filth, lust, stagnation and disrepute so as to make us whole. Where we think we have stumbled, failed, lost, surfer any ill health or died: God will arise to give us strength. He will revive, restore, heal, re-establish and transform our position to make us a success story. May God satisfy and deliver those who are hungry among us, they will surfer no more and those who considered themselves to be barren will begin to have children. May God also protect our children from any pangs of death, gun culture, knife culture and drug culture. We beseech You to allow their lives to be a success stories. Above all; let us be alive in You. Blot the sins of our transgressions, block every satanic hindrances and any infringement on our right to salvation. With Your power; purify our thoughts and make us worthy children of Yours in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "Grace is unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"- Philippians 1:2-6 May the grace and the peace of God which surpasses all human understanding be upon us today and always. I also decree by the power surrounding the ordinances of God the Father and His holy name; that all request made through our incessant petitions to our maker and creator of the world will always come out of joyful hearts. I also pray that the Lord Who "hath begun a good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" May God redress, reform and revive all dwindling hope which oftentimes plague the understanding of the power of His might upon our lives. Let our knowledge of His greatness satisfy the desire to worship Him and without the need to seek after any other god. Above all Father; we beseech You to allow those who are called after Your Holy name to receive salvation in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

20 January 2020

Checking into God's Presence... "John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it is given him from heaven." John 3:27. This New Week, we plead unto Your Holy name through the assurances given above that: You will cleanse our infirmities and make us whole again. As our Lord and Saviour; create in us a clean heart so that Your spirit can have a place to dwell in us. With Your power: heal our barren lands and make our bones to live again. Father; we ask that You will go into the source of our unhappiness and transform them to Your taste. Empower us so we can be freed from financial disabilities, untimely death, marital woes, and lack of good health, business misfortune and disappointment of any kind. Guide us very jealously against any spirit of redundancy, disciplinary action at work places and lack of growth in our ministries. You are a God of covenant and Your covenant You will never break. If Your promise says: if we ask we will receive; then let that promise come to fulfillment today in Jesus Name. Bless us today through the assurances given through Your word that "a man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven". Shower us with these heavenly riches so that we can begin to enjoy the love of Christ in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... Call to worship? Do you know that true worship has to be measured in terms of the distances that occur between the hearts of all worshippers and the church they attend? We may not know that various attendances are judged by the conformity of our heart readings in relation to the righteousness of God. And just like the presence of God in every sphere of life, heart readings are somewhat not invisible to Him. They can be very subversive in nature and goes a long way in determining the velocity of the spirit of God when it comes to the efficacy of prayers among the gathering of Christian worshippers. The perception one needs to have about God should be seen according to what David said in Psalm 139:4. It says-"Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O LORD, You know it all." The same submission Job echoed in Job 21:22. "Can anyone teach God knowledge, In that He judges those on high?-Job 21:22 It does not matter how far or close your heart is to your next neighbour; your lips may have been covered somehow with some deceits and the hearts gone out so cold for every encounter. Remember, "where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth."-Proverbs 26:20 Therefore, let your heart be free from any rancor, suspicion and assumptions. Allow your love to be sublimed with the riches of the righteousness of God, by so doing you will be able to call on the name of God and He will answer you. Amen Just Checking into His Presence..

18th January 2020

Checking into God's Presence... People who judge will always leave themselves exposed by the same standard they have used in judging others. It is possible for them to choose to be oblivious to the many standards they have broken as they pry and try to scrutinize other people's conducts. Let it be known therefore that no matter how much we learn, preach and teach; perfection is truly a distance goal no one can ever reach fully. In that, whilst we are busy judging others, we tend to safeguard ourselves better than what Christ did, prescribed or preached about perfection. How then should we describe ourselves when we judge ourselves by some vain principles? Apostle Paul in Philippians 2:1-5 says: "If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteems other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" Therefore, let those who teach perfection be careful not to see themselves as Christ. Let them refrain from using the "Eye of God" syndrome to measure the moral standards of others. It is always easy to assume the role of moral managers of other people's conduct even though we all carry the stigma of imperfections. Ecclesiastes 7: 20-21 explains -"indeed there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins. Do not pay attention to every word people say, or you may hear your servant cursing you for you know in your heart that many times you yourself have cursed others. "As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;" Romans 3:10 Do teach, preach and counsel with lowliness of mind and without the mouth piece of "I am perfect". Don't castigate in the interest of Christ and do keep abreast that we can only hate others when we use our own standards to judge. Teach us your ways Father and make them simple to tread. Give us Your vision, make them so familiar to reach. Open our understanding, let us be able to love ourselves as Christ chose to love us in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

17th January 2020

Checking into God's Presence... Good day to you all and welcome to His Presence. Within the little time we have, just how good is your tongue? How damaging/good can it be? You must know how good the Goodness of the Lord is; part of His Goodness entrusts us with the care to repair the broken hearts. The resultant benefits comes with the appointment of being chosen as captains over the Lord’s inheritance as He did to Saul in 1 Samuel 10:1. And it states: Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the Lord hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance? Therefore; It does not matter if you use your mouth to castigate, God's wills and purposes must come to pass because whatever He pronounces, He must fulfil. Tame your tongue so that the Lord can tame your requests towards His covenants upon you. That is why He is God. Give us the grace to be a chosen one oh God. Amen Just checking in into His Presence...

16th January 2020

Checking into God's Presence... Do you really know your God? This question may seem so unnecessary if all you do is to define your relationship with God by the amount of regular visits you make to different churches. Can I ask if those visits are genuine enough to bring about the true love in us; paving the way for our salvation? Any visit to the house of God which undercuts love and the fear of God will always eliminate the presence of the Holy Spirit. That alone will affect peace, growth and the multiplication of members in any particular church. This issue was reaffirmed in Acts 9:31 And it states : "So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." Today, I will like to remind you about the words of Prophet Isaiah in Chapter 40:3-5; It says-"A voice of one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God." Today l pray that "every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

15th January 2020

Checking into God's Presence... God has good plan for those who are called by His name; although they may not understand the mystery and the logic behind His plans. Apart from loving us genuinely, God wants everyone to be saved so they can be able to come to some understanding with the knowledge of truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 also confirms this assertion-"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. It bemused me to mention there is always an unspoken truth about the way each individual begins to approach the process and the need to climb 'God's Mountain of Truth'. Indeed, to surrender to the truth in God's name has become so problematic in the world today. In that, many now see themselves as the only option to Christ true nature and in most cases use that to destroy the true essence of Christ in them. In Romans 3:9-10, the Bible acclaims- "What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" “How much more, then, will the blood of Christ cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death so that we may serve a living God” (Hebrews 9:14) Christ wants you to be free – free from not only the acts of death, but also the guilt that results. Today, we all know what guilt we live with, let me also assure you that Jesus can silence those guilt once and for all. All we need do is to ask God and Christ will surely deliver His peace unto our care. Ask Him today and He will definitely come to your rescue. May this be our portion in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... What sort of offering do you have for God today? Offering gripped with fear, doubt, deceit or such that declares the faithfulness of God? In Genesis 4:4, Abel considered God worthy of honour, this could have come out of pure love to God and His Commandments. Cain on the other hand may have viewed his offerings as something that just has to be done. An action geared and seen towards satisfying the crowd but has nothing to do with the state of the hearts in relation to God's principle. Whereas, Abel's offering of "firstlings" can be attributed to the genuine understanding he had that the produce of his flock was indeed a gift from God. Do we then agree that anything we have automatically belongs to God? Can I ask if we genuinely act or see things this way? As Christians, we can find ourselves in the Camp of Cain and or Ananias and Sapphire as described in Acts of Apostle 5:1-11. We can always find ourselves sharing in the experience of struggling to let go on things that the Lord had put in our possession. We beseech Thee oh Lord to grant us the spirit to pursue only what is right before Thee. Cast and bind on our behalf anything that can make us cry and threaten our peace. With Your power oh Lord; You will not allow nothing to deflate our faith and steal our joy like Cain in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

13th January 2020

Checking into God's Presence... I am a child of God, yes! but in spite of your life experiences; are you stronger in holiness in your journey of faith? Have you sat down to consider the fact that studying, practice on one skill or the other and devotion to any rigorous exercise are simply means geared towards achieving greatness in life? Do you also know that devotion to the simple exercise such as faith and holiness does not require much rigors?: only one must always allow the flesh to be dead to sin for the spirit of God to flourish in order to quench the thirst oozing out of worldly things. Such people can then rely on the assertion made in John 4:14 which says "but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life." You may be attending one church or the other regularly; fasting and praying may have become a pattern in your life, can I ask how genuine are your claim before God? Remember, "the LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."-1 Samuel 16:7 "Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation". Amen (Psalm 27:9) Just Checking into His Presence...

“May the Lord hear thee us in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend us. May He today send us help from His sanctuary, and strengthen us out of His Holy place; May the Lord remember all our offerings, services, worship: and accept our burnt sacrifice before Him. May He grant us according to our heart desires, and fulfil all our counsel. Psalm 20: 1-4 Father; we beseech Thee to give us the privilege to always rejoice in Your salvation, and in Thy name empower us to set up our banners in such a way that You will fulfil all our petitions. Save us Lord, like Your anointed ones and hear us from Your holy heaven with the saving strength of Your right hand. Although; some may trust in chariots, and some in horses: strengthen us spiritually to always remember that You are the Lord our God. Save us with the power of Your might where and when many are brought down and fallen: with Your grace ensure we are risen, and stand upright. Also save us Lord from the travails of our time and let those in authority hear us when we call in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

11th January 2020

Checking into God's Presence... Do you serve Jesus? Can you boldly say you have given your life to Him in truth so that your salvation can be guaranteed? Would you believe that God works steadily with those who have accepted Christ as their Lord and Saviour in order to make them be like Christ? No one can assume to the position of being Christ like without first allowing the flesh which encloses the spirit to die and by so doing allow the spirit to take precedence in their relationship with God. Romans 8: 4-8 say-"in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit." "Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God." Truly you are in Christ; but of which lane are you? A camouflage of Christ or a true disciple of Christ? Remember, if indeed you are not of Christ; you have simply become a caricature of the name of Christ which you claim to represent. The sad thing is, it is only God who knows those who are truly His; again by their fruits, we shall also know them. "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:1 Declare oh Lord and make us free from the laws surrounding every sinful acts which can lead us to untimely death, illnesses that are diverse in nature and the necessity to break bonds with You. Let our attributes to You and our neighbours make us Children worthy of Your Kingdom in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... Christian journey are not always very easy; although every child of God wants to have a troubled free life in their journey of faith. There are many experiences in the Bible which shows the journey of faith under Christ name sets every child of God on what can be classified as the adventurous part of nature. We only need to read Luke 9 and discover the necessity behind how Jesus came to feed the five thousand with 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread. Similarly in Mathew 9:20-22; the persistent faith of a great believer showed how Jesus healed the woman with the issue of blood. Drawing from these two references; so too those who press on in their strides and beliefs in Christ will ultimately meet God. He will give them strength to outlive their challenges and eventually take them to their expected end. Jesus too understood the adventurous concept in the Christian life; and so in John 14:1-2 Jesus comforted his disciples by setting them on the path of how to experience peace, strength and victory in their daily experiences of life. Jesus reaffirmed- "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me." The first attribute to have as a child of God is the ability to believe in God and no matter what! Jeremiah 29:12 encapsulates- "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Doubts, fear, lack of faith and commitment to the true values of Christ in the journey of faith will always renounce and or ostracize the true comfort Christ is willing to bring our ways. For You know the thoughts You think toward us Father: According to Your word, they are thoughts of peace and not of evil to lead and give us an expected end." Let these be our portion in Jesus name. Checking into God's Presence... In what ways have you been blowing your trumpet as a child of God? Do you allow the flesh to take over the spiritual essence of the body among what should be seen as a Sacred Assembly which also belongs to God? Now listen, to live in Christ is to allow the flesh (body) which offers an enclosure to the spirit to be dead to sin. The irony of it all is Christians of nowadays fight more to protect the flesh. You know what: that body will ultimately remain in this world. Whereas, the spirit on the other hand; thrives and gives us the opportunity to rise from the position of death so as to be able to reign with God in heaven. You all must hear this assertion from Prophet Joel: "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations." Joel 2:1-2 As sweet as this world can be therefore; "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it." Isaiah 13:9 Father we pray for your empowerment; give us the ability to destroy the fleshy thoughts for Your Spirit to overwhelm us for the sake of Your Kingdom. Checking into God's Presence... “Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken. But there the glorious Lord will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby. For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us. Thy tackling’s are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey. And the inhabitant shall not say I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity”. Ezekiel 33:20-24 What is your story? Please learn from the above and seek the Lord in spite of those painful circumstances. Hannah did, she had a turn around. Joseph too had his share of the tribulations of this world whilst in Egypt; his testimonies confused his brethren who sold him into slavery. When he introduced himself; they were astonished in Genesis 45:3-4 which states- “Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph; does my father still live?” But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed in his presence. And Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come near to me.” So they came near. Then he said: “I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.” What about you? Are you renouncing God because of some teething problems? Remember, it is not over until it is finally over. Choose God today and make Him your friend. He is more faithful than the physical friends of this world. Look upon our souls today oh Lord and let Your eyes have compassion on us. We beseech You to redeem us from any distress capable of disturbing the faith we have in Your Holy name. Magnify our thoughts with your Holy Spirit so our steps can be designed to always seek after the righteousness in Your name. Let those who are called by Your name declare: I am not sick and the people that seek after you says they have been forgiven of their iniquity in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... “The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies. He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down. Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth. The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God. The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens. Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening. O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.” Psalm 104:18-25 Throughout the Scripture, God's name is portrayed as the giver and taker of life. This fact remains contingent upon the continuation and the sustainability of our "breath" by the creator of the universe. It means when God ceases to power any breathe, life quite simply and suddenly becomes extinguished. David in Psalm 104:24 made a poignant note of this assertion: "How many are your works, O Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures when You take away their breath, they die and return to the dust" If life then is seen and or perceived as some kind of race, who are we competing with? Undoubtedly, our daily experiences portray everyone to be on a form of race on a race track; either chasing one thing and or being chased by something different altogether. Even at that, life stories: depending on how you make them are usually borne out of contention which always lead to diverse-repercussions. This however puts life more on the part of a race track than the way the Bible describes and expects us to lead our lives. Why then do we need to be contentious as Children of God? How come contentment has suddenly become so foreign amongst us. It does not matter if you run or view life pinned down on a race track that is filled with contention, strife, anger, jealousies, hatred and or love. Whichever angle you perceive life; we must know that we are in this life for a little time and oftentimes that becomes too hard for us to understand. In that, irrespective of what we currently enjoy, perceived and or considered to be a sumptuous track will always come to an end before our fading eyes someday. Whilst we enjoy the New Year, take it as your season to shine but always remember that heaven is home and it is real. David said in Psalm 104: 19 For God “appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down. Thou makest darkness, and it is night:” Lord we beseech you to be our guide and erase all contentious spirit in our hearts so we can begin to experience peace in our lifetime. You remained the first in our thoughts this year, let the good things of life follow and encompass us. Guide so Your Holy Spirit can empower, overwhelm, enable and enrich us with Your favour and let us be surrounded with Your grace in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with thy entire mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets"- Matthew 22: 37-40 Absolutely, no one can be a friend of God without first identifying where he or she is in relation to the core values of God's principles. The process alone can help to rectify any standards that are below par when we consider the Lord's commandments. Knowing who we are in Christ sets us on a perfect relationship with God. Already Jesus Christ have helped in no small measures to streamline the Commandments of God in Matthew 22: 37-40 However and in spite of our normal nonchalance to the above directives, the desire to love and follow through on the above instructions underlies the assurances invested in the unmerited grace of God. Undoubtedly, this will significantly attract the natural flow of God's kindness: albeit to those who are called by His name. It is therefore an undeniable fact that every individual must know where they are with God. The same principle applies to the sort of love we harbour for one another. What we often forget is we show a great disservice to ourselves where we don't follow the precepts of God as stipulated in James 2: 8-9 which states: “If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.” As we cross successfully into the pattern of Your New Day oh Lord: we thank you for the privileges given to enjoy and also celebrate the first week of another Year. With Your power teach us how to love You. Empower us to show similar love to our neighbours and give us victory over every adversaries in the midst of every prevailing circumstances in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "Luke 8:17 declares-“there is nothing hidden that won't be revealed, and there is nothing secret that won't become known and come to light". Ordinarily, the gift of this new day from God should come as a surprise to everyone because through the Lord’s mercies we have not been consumed by death. Besides, God also empowers every new dawn to uncover every secret affairs nurtured during the night. Truly, the affairs of the night may have paralysed some thoughts, making the news of the coming day to be so far apart from the night. In retrospect; let us remember that whatever has a beginning must surely have an end. All illicit affairs enjoyed using the covers of the night or brought about under any guise must somehow disappear; this is in spite of the joy derived from the escapades. Now that the new day is here, what affairs did you engage in last night? Did you see them as following through on the righteousness of God? Every new day therefore offers us the opportunity to set new limits and pursue God's purpose. Exodus 9:16 says “But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” The Lord and His purposes are always perfect but we are not and it is also true that the Lord understands that. However the choices embarked upon should be filled with the desire to walk according to the purpose of God. Undoubtedly, Christians nowadays are always prone to be assailed with doubts and fears which can keep them away from living according to the purposes that God has established. We invite Your Presence oh Lord to teach us consistently so we can overcome this by reading and studying Your word. Develop our faith in You and make them stronger day by day as we learn from You and pray to You regularly. Let us become more embolden to accomplish great purposes in Your name. Make every gate in our lives to be lifted so that You as the King of Glory can usher in era of Glory into our lives. We decree that this New Year, the Almighty God will release the spirit of excellence and of successes upon us and God will allow His rain of prosperity to fall and clothe us with the spirit of honour. You will also give us strength to be made perfect in our area of weaknesses in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's presence... “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2: 6-10 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” that he or she is witnessing another day in the New Year. I am again privileged to welcome you all to His Presence. Please note: it is not a taboo to see many thinking about life in terms of riches or wealth, beauty, position, miracles, prophesies, leadership, age, affluence and influence. These include the ability to speak and write effectively; whilst also recording successes in all other fronts. Some can also boast in the abilities to kill, maim and to destroy. To them, those represent great works! No matter what; let me give you another insight to the above attributes. It does not matter what prowess you possess or enjoy; you will be surprised how dwarfed they can be when set against the attributes of other people. Invariably, you may be rich and can still be poor in every sense when your fortune is compared to other people's wealth. In fact, you may consider yourself poor but when your position is set against other people's poverty level, you can suddenly become a very rich person. In the area of beauty however; you can see yourself as very beautiful, radiant and exquisite; at the same time you can carry the banner of ugliness to many suitors. The night marauders too operate on a different scale; according to their skills and prowess. That is very common in life! As well: we can all boost of the grace to live when we are alive; even then we can discover many often struggle in health areas. They are encamped within the category of those who think it is better to just die than to face the ignominy of being imprisoned with their severe health conditions. And through misconceptions and lack of credence to the Almighty God; many will mock the gift of life given to them by God. But when that happens, we often forget that no one has it all! Apart from that, limitation abounds in knowledge; no matter how knowledgeable you are you can still be outshone in many quarters. As well, even though you are alive today: there is no guarantee that tomorrow will always come. But while we still live: we have the power that enables us to think. In your thoughts today, you can make a big change by giving credits to God in every situation. Remember, life without Christ often leads to crisis. "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ironically, it is upon that attributes that your peace is assured in Christ Jesus. We therefore plead unto You oh Lord to draw us to Your presence as we lead our lives daily. Make us to always see your Face in our attributes and allow thoughts to desire things of the Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence…

Checking into God's Presence... And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.” Romans 15:12-14 Goodness is an attribute of God which all Christian should not only exhibit but also practice with true intent and purposes. Genuine Christian must be open, generous in the expression of their love to others and display always the attributes of forgiving spirit. Above all, it must be said that there is some kind of peaceful feelings associated with goodness. This gives power and greatness to the extent that Christians can now declare "therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God." “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost” Therefore and in this New Year oh Lord; guide us with Your goodness and let Your kindness show through us in all manifestations. For Your Word says: “I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God. For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed.” Romans 15: 17-18 Again we plead in Your name to allow the virtues of Christ to overwhelm, prepare and strengthen us purposefully: mainly for actions relating to the true love of God. With Your Might, ensure we continuously make sincere attempt and also take valid strides surrounding the will to do what is good in all circumstances: not only for this Year but always; unto You in Your service and in our relationship with our neighbours in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works." Psalm 145:15-17 We give thanks unto You oh Lord for sparing our lives to see the month of January. Thank You for being nigh unto all that called upon You in the previous year; taking note of our troubles through the faithfulness in Your name as we celebrate the birth of another decade. This new year, we want to invite You more into the affairs of our lives and by the same margin oh Lord; begin to fulfill our desire so we can bless Your name forever. We do know Lord that great is Your name and Your greatness is unsearchable. Empower therefore our generation to praise Thy works and declare the greatness in Your Mighty works; as delivered unto each and everyone of us daily. We beseech You to make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts from the glorious encounter with Your kingdom through Your name this New Year. Also position our faith in You and let us speak of the glory of Thy kingdom and talk of the power that bears testimonies to Your Name; for the eyes of all who are called by Your name wait upon Thee. Give us our meat in due season and open Thine hand to satisfy our desire with the hidden treasures of heaven. You are righteous in all ways and holy is Your works; therefore fulfill our desires because of the fear we have for Your Holy Name. With Your love oh Lord: preserve us, hear our cries and save us from the perils of the world as we go through the endeavours of another year. For the testimonies in Your name; let our mouths speak of Thy praise oh Lord and make all flesh bless Your holy Name for ever and ever in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...
