Checking into God's Presence… "Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.  They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march everyone on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk everyone in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil." Joel 2:6-13 God of mercy, from the creation of heavens, the earth and everything therein, Your steadfast love is unquestionable and insurmountable. We remember the days of old; we meditate on all thy works; we muse on the work of Thy hands. Today we stretch forth our hands unto thee: our souls thirsteth after Thee, as a thirsty land. Therefore hear us speedily, O Lord: our spirit faileth: hide not thy face from us, lest we be like unto them that go down into the pit. Cause us to hear Thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in Thee we put our trust: cause us to know the way wherein we should walk; for we lift our souls unto Thee. Deliver us, O Lord, from our enemies: we flee unto Thee to hide us. Teach us to do Thy will; for thou art our God and Thy spirit are good; lead us into the land of uprightness and quicken us O Lord for Thy Name's sake. Let Thy righteousness' brings our souls out of all trouble. Of Thy mercy oh Lord: cut off our enemies and destroy them that afflict our souls for we are Your sons and daughters. Psalm 143:5-12 Let Your true love satisfy our needs, fortify Your strength in us and strangulate all embers capable of bringing shame, disaster, untimely death and poverty to us and loved ones in Jesus Mighty Name.
