Checking into God's Presence... "And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house." Acts 16: 26-34 Are you a Child of God? Then do Thyself no harm: you are God's, and God is yours. Stop brooding over the bad things of this world: they will surely pass away, and the good times will come again. As Christians, we must go through some dark moments in our lives: it is only the strength of Christ in us that can see us through. Paul and Silas went through a narrowing experience for the sake of the Lord they serve. Being Romans, they were accused wrongfully of teaching unlawful customs; they were arrested and arraigned before the magistrate and sent to prison, but the Lord was with them. God proved Himself to be the hope for the hopeless. A helper who can lead us away from the shadows of the night and the dangers of the day. When life offered a bitter taste for Paul and Silas, God chose to become the light of their salvation based on the level of their faith in Him. The guards and the doors to their prison, including the chains in their hands, could not make them captive. Therefore let the Lord become the eyes through which we see from now. May God allow His purpose and will to ripe fast upon us while we enjoy His protection with every unfolding hour in our lives. Let us be able to rest in the power of Your Might oh God in Jesus name. Checking into God's Presence... "And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:2-16 As Children of God, do you know that God's promises to anyone can never be in vain? In that, God had already made His plan plain through His work from the beginning of creation. According to the Apostle Paul in Romans 1: 19-20 which states: "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" On the other hand, however, God is the only one that can interpret every sign and any results attributable to His work; and that includes the timing given to their manifestation. We must know that we "are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Checking into God’s Presence...  “And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac. And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him. And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him. And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me. And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.” Genesis 21:1-7 What have you been looking unto God, and what’s your impression about the time you had to wait? Do you think God is slow in bringing your needs to manifestation or that He has forgotten you completely? Let me assure you that Sarah, too, had the same impression in the Book of Genesis. The Bible recorded Sarah was 90 when she conceived Isaac while Abraham was a hundred years old. Both of them had the impression that conception was out of the question for Sarah because they have waited for a very long time. Along the line, Sarah had to bring in Hagar, the Egyptian slave of Sarah, to assist God and Abraham in childbearing. And this was against God’s original plan: Hagar conceived and bore a son named Ishmael. But in Genesis 21:1 that “the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.” Empower us oh Lord to always rely on Your strength, when we feel despaired, provide healing for the souls that dwell in shame and allow many to know Thy Name through the testimonies of their mouths. Let the blind in Spirit begin to see, and the lame in faith be encouraged to run free with the new strength found through their faith, and we pray Thee to give hope to those who remain blinded to Your riches. Let the unbelief in the state of their hearts do what You have decreed, and kick starts in their lives the assurances given to the validity in Your Name in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land. And I will harden Pharaoh's heart and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them. And Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them, so did they." Exodus 7: 1-6 Despite the worldly trouble faced by Moses from Pharaoh, Thou still declared him a god upon Pharaoh. May the power of Your Might keep us above our enemies. Let us continue to worship You In faith, trust, hope and also believe in the plans and the thoughts that You have for us as in Jeremiah 29:11 It states- "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." On this new day Father that You have prepared for us, "there be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us". Psalm 4:6 "Thou hast put gladness in our hearts, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. We will all lie down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest us dwell in safety" Psalm 4:7-8 Therefore, let those who stand against us be in awe to the testimonies of our mouths. Teach us Your ways so we will sin no more. Make Your daily grace commune with our hearts even before we rise from our beds in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God’s Presence... “And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Colossians 3:10-17 For Your sake, oh God put in us a new man and renew our knowledge in Thee and let us be removed from the bondage of sins. Thou sent Jesus Christ to this world to redeem those You have created from their deluge of sins, mould us therefore after the image of Christ. Let the treasures of heaven open for Your sake to declare peace, joy, long life and good health. From Your riches, establish new songs in our lives to guarantee renewed hope, faith and testimonies that will declare Your glory. Clothe us with Your bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering and give us the spirit to forbear and forgive one another. Above all, when we pick up quarrels against our neighbours: allow the spirit of love in Christ to overwhelm and forgive such a person. Please give us the honour to be able to practice charity to showcase the bond of perfection. Father, we pray for the peace of God to rule in our hearts, so we are called in one body. We beseech Thee to allow the word of Christ to dwell in us richly in all wisdom, teachings and by all standards. And whatsoever we do in word or deeds, let them all be in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Empower us to give thanks to God the Father and to choose Him as our only guide. Redeem us with Your spirit to declare Your Presence by using psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Constantly let us sing with grace and joy in our hearts to Thee oh Lord in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... "And it was told Laban on the third day that Jacob was fled. And he took his brethren with him, and pursued after him seven days' journey; and they overtook him in the mount Gilead. And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.  Then Laban overtook Jacob. Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the mount: and Laban with his brethren pitched in the mount of Gilead. And Laban said to Jacob, What hast thou done, that thou hast stolen away unawares to me, and carried away my daughters, as captives taken with the sword? Wherefore didst thou flee away secretly, and steal away from me; and didst not tell me, that I might have sent thee away with mirth, and with songs, with tabret, and with harp? And hast not suffered me to kiss my sons and my daughters? Thou hast now done foolishly in so doing. It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spake unto me yester night, saying, Take thou heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad." Genesis 31: 22-29 Do you see God as your strength in times of trouble? Laban intended to allow Jacob to go away empty-handed after serving him. Still, God appeared unto Laban to correct this wrongdoing- “And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad." We pray unto You, Lord, to cause the plans and the assignment of the enemies to work in our favour. Help to satisfy our needs in times of trouble by removing pain, turbulence, calamities, unemployment, redundancies, and sickness of all kinds. With Your power, remove from our lives untimely death, suppression, oppression, hatred of all sorts and any form of sorrow. Moses was classified as nobody until Thou chose to empower him, and because he stammered, disbelief was on all faces. You used Moses for the sake of Your gracefulness and declared Your Might so that those who dithered, complained and dishonoured Your purpose in him became filled with awe, and You brought to nought their repulsions. As unto Moses and Jacob, we plead through Your Holy Name to make good people's perception about us today. Wash away our filth and cloth us with Your garments of honour. Checking into God’s Presence... “And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy; As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.” Luke 1:45-55 Our Father and our Lord; through Prophet Isaiah, You declared in Isaiah 43:26 that: “Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.” Today we remind You about Your declarations to our forefathers- to Abraham, to David and Jacob and their seeds forever: to let Your mercy be upon us from generation to generation based on the fear we have for Your Name. Show us the strength in Your arm and scatter the imaginations of our enemies. Fill us so we do not thirst and hungry for good things. Also prevent us from going away empty-handed. For Your sake, disappoint the enemies who try to pull us down, help our children, remember Your mercy, and remove the mighty seats that look for their downfall. Exalt those whose relationship is having a setback and take them away from the low degree. Checking into God’s Presence...  “And Solomon went up thither to the brasen altar before the Lord, which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it. In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee. And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David, my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead. Now, O Lord God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. Give me now wisdom and knowledge that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great? And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee, and I will give thee riches, and wealth and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.” 2 Chronicles 1:6-12 Like Solomon, we have come unto Thee oh God to offer our offering of praise as Thou commanded us to do. We, therefore, plead through the righteousness in Your name that: as “Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David our forefather and hast made Solomon to reign in his stead: Now, O Lord God, let Thy promise unto David our forefather and Abraham be established: for thou hast made Solomon king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.” Let Your mercy speak for us today and remove our sins. Rekindle the joy we have surrendered to our enemies through the patterns of our sinful acts. Overwhelm us with the power in Your Holy Name. Cast, bind powerfully and ostracize the incidences of all fiery darts, arrows of ills intentions and every ephemeral spirit that may try to destabilize and or work against the glory of God in us. Give us wisdom, knowledge and understanding to be able to navigate the intricacies of this world: By adding heavenly riches, wealth, honour, good health and long life. Also, enrich us with Your Everlasting Arms to subtend Your grace upon us. Grant unto us comfort, peace, joy, victory, and enlighten our darkness so Your glory can always shine through us in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God’s Presence... “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.” Psalm 63:1-8  Oh Lord and our God, You have made today possible so we can experience Thy power and share in the value of Your glory. Through that grace, we have come before Thee knowing that the life we so much like to enjoy can present itself to be painful at times: but also You have declared that Your lovingkindness is better than life and our lips should praise Thee always. We, therefore, ask in Your name that You will bless us while we live and offer unto us Your comforting hand. Also, we plead; through the Perfect Blood of the Lamb, our sins will not separate us from Your presence, and we shall not suffer any reproach that will make us go beyond Your reach. We invite You to wipe away all secret tears and allow our joy to be complete and reassuring. Thou have been our help through the night watches: now we remember Thy great works because we can sit upon our beds and meditate on the power of Your might; We plead therefore and in Your name that You will not allow Your peace to depart from us. Also, keep our hearts free from any bitterness. Declare unto us that no gates of hell will prevail upon any of us and remove the mandates associated with shame; instead, turn them to joy and keep us within the shadows of Thy wings. Make Thy right hand uphold us with happiness and allow our souls to follow hard after Thee always oh God in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand." Isaiah 64: 4-8 Are you able to trust God in expectation of the actual value of His grace? Would you be quick to judge Him due to the feeble sense posed by the challenges you are going through now? Do you know that behind what you consider as a frown gained from the simple providence of God, God too hides His smiling face to all? God sincere and imminent purposes ripen fast if only we believe in the power of His Might. The Bible records: "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what He hath prepared for him that waiteth for Him".  So let us wake up from our slumber if indeed we have been undermining Your grace of God. Do not allow our thoughts to revolve around an ordinary Christian's position that Apostle Paul describes in 1 Corinthian 3: 1-3. These states: "And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? "But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand", make us clean from filthy rags that filled with all unrighteousness. As we call upon thy Name today, ensure we do not fade like leaves and remove us from iniquities that have taken us away like the wind. Checking into God's Presence… "Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.  They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march everyone on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk everyone in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil." Joel 2:6-13 God of mercy, from the creation of heavens, the earth and everything therein, Your steadfast love is unquestionable and insurmountable. We remember the days of old; we meditate on all thy works; we muse on the work of Thy hands. Today we stretch forth our hands unto thee: our souls thirsteth after Thee, as a thirsty land. Therefore hear us speedily, O Lord: our spirit faileth: hide not thy face from us, lest we be like unto them that go down into the pit. Cause us to hear Thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in Thee we put our trust: cause us to know the way wherein we should walk; for we lift our souls unto Thee. Deliver us, O Lord, from our enemies: we flee unto Thee to hide us. Teach us to do Thy will; for thou art our God and Thy spirit are good; lead us into the land of uprightness and quicken us O Lord for Thy Name's sake. Let Thy righteousness' brings our souls out of all trouble. Of Thy mercy oh Lord: cut off our enemies and destroy them that afflict our souls for we are Your sons and daughters. Psalm 143:5-12 Let Your true love satisfy our needs, fortify Your strength in us and strangulate all embers capable of bringing shame, disaster, untimely death and poverty to us and loved ones in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence… "But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Checking into God’s Presence... ”My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto Him and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles.  The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord. What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.  The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.” Psalm 34:1-15   As we seek Thee today, oh Lord, we plead You will hear us and deliver us from all our fears. Therefore, we invoke the authority derived from the power of creation to bring to light the manifestation of Your glory in us. Your word claimed that “the poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.” Hear us today, oh Lord, because we are deficient in Your Spirit, let us taste and see that our Lord is good and blessed is us because we put our trust in You. We also revoke through Your Name every monitoring spirit which runs contrary to the true nature of our Lord. Let our houses come under Your administration, oh Lord and allow Your everlasting covenant come to fulfilment upon our endeavours; for the sake of Abraham, Jacob, Isaac and our salvation. We trust in Thee with our desires, grow them spiritually and empower us to dwell in the land that flows with milk and honey. Checking into God's Presence... "Thou, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.   Thou, therefore, endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strives for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. Consider what I say, and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evildoer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:" 2 Timothy 2: 1-12 Almighty and Everlasting King, we open our hearts to You this day with the expectation to receive from You; we want you to forgive our sins in every dimension and cleanse us with Your Holy Spirit. Give us fresh courage; and take from the blessings from Your hand. With Your mercy, let the clouds brings relief to the works of our hands, oh sovereign God. Ye fearful saints, how long shall we dread the era of Your silence; let Your mercy break forth. With Your power, oh Lord, begin to pull down and uproot all barriers standing against our progress. Remove scars, tears, reproach, temptations, trials, and doubts of any kind. Also, bring to end illnesses, hatred, unrest and untimely deaths. Instead, make us pillars worthy of Your testimony. Remove our shame of today, and let us be famous tomorrow. Declare our tests of today and make them perfect testimonies of our time. Checking into Gods Presence... It is noteworthy to mention the biblical narrative of Hannah in the Book of 1 Samuel 1:2-2:21. The name of Hannah did not come up outside of the first two chapters of 1 Samuel. And we later found out that she was one of the two wives of Elkanah, the other being Peninnah, who had given birth to Elkanah's children. The Bible recorded that Hannah remained childless for the Lord closed her womb in 1 Samuel 1:6. And a result, she was provoked, despised and humiliated about the condition by Peninnah.  Naturally and like any of us, she felt despair, discouraged and disillusioned about her experience and the treatment she received first from Peninnah, Elkanah and even Eli the Priest. But instead of complaining, retaliating, or losing sight of God, Hannah remained focused and committed and took her anguish to God. She sought the face of God never like before, visiting Shiloh yearly until the Lord answered her prayers. Hannah now introduced a vow in her prayer in 1 Samuel 1:11. She called on God on the strength of this vow to look upon her afflictions with mercy and compassion. Her promise was if God indeed remembers her on the power of her vow, she will give back to God the long-awaited son when he comes. God was impressed as Hannah chose to cultivate His attention through prayers, faith, fear of Him, perseverance, and a vow. Consequently, God allowed her womb to reopen and with multiple returns. Hannah was only looking for a child from God but: "the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the Lord." 1 Samuel 2:21.  Here is a clear example: we must always learn to cultivate the Lord's presence with patience, faith,  trust, and perseverance irrespective of any condition that may come our way. Banish with Your saving grace and the Perfect Blood of the Lamb oh Lord any terrible news, illnesses of any nature, un-accomplishment of any kind and antics used by the evil ones to suppress, criticize, humiliate, destroy and or obliterate the purpose of Your delight upon us. Gladden our hearts so that Your loved ones will not receive damnation and show us a path through Your presence to receive the fullness of joy from Your right hand. Also, give us the empowerment to continuously enjoy pleasures from Your heavenly throne now and always in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God’s Presence...  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.” Hebrew 11:1-8 As a true believer, it is mandatory to understand the importance of faith in our day to day living in Christ. Hebrew 11:6 says: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” You must have noticed that we live in a generation filled with so much mischief and unbelief. Significantly, this has some adverse effects on the household of God. Regrettably, the Church of God has now welcome and allow the spirit of fear, doubt and anxieties to infiltrate the church. People now find it so difficult to trust, obey and believe in what the Bible says. Now the generality of genuine Christians must seek the face of God harder through prayers, fasting and by observing the instructions of God before prayers can begin to have a meaningful effect on any child of God. In the darkness of our doubts, we act as if we believe in the word of God; but do we? Genuine faith involves stepping out of our comfort zones to do something new. We must also think that God is behind us and sure God’s got our backs, although we may not know and or pretend not to know. Our prayer should always be for the Lord to help us, so we can always believe in all that He says, albeit without attempting to doubt the power of His graciousness in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence...  "And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.  Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother's brother. And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people; And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham." Genesis 28:1-4 Indeed, we have forsaken all so we can serve and carry Your cross; fulfil therefore Your covenant upon us and let us receive in return hundredfold of Your blessings. Make us fruitful and beneficial in Your Kingdom. Multiply our riches through the gifts that Abraham our Father received from Thee, according to the following: "and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham." Let Your love creates that special bond between us to guarantee the much-craved inheritance to Your everlasting life in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God’s Presence...  “Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;.” Psalm 149: 1-6   Our Father who art in heaven: it is the beginning of another day; make us rejoice in You who created us and allow what came out from Thee as a covenant between You and Abraham to come to manifestation upon us. Let Your children be joyful in their homes and praise You through our dance, and Thou should take pleasure in the service of Thy people. Beautify our strides with the purpose of Thy salvation and at the mention of Your Name, “let there be light” to cover our darkness so that darkness will cease and our experiences in this world will begin to take shape.  Without doubt; “the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” and the world was formed and came into existence through the power of Your creation: as Your children, therefore, we beseech Thee to declare and remove every bondage set upon us through the power of sin, fear, illnesses, doubts, trials, temptations of diverse nature and our enemies. Instead, bring upon us manifestation that will make us heirs of Your Name and joint-heirs with Christ that we may also be glorified with Him together in heaven in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... " Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. And I will wait upon the Lord, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8:16-20 Do you accept that you have been washed in the blood of the Lamb? If the answer is yes, are you walking daily by the side of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? A quick reminder to you all about this saying that: "the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear."? Isaiah 59:1-2 Our Father who art in heaven, we plead through Your mercy this Juvenile Harvest Sunday that "as the new wine is found in the cluster and one saith, destroy it not; for a blessing is in it:" let such blessings begin to ooze out into our lives now and always. Forgive our sins according to Your commandment and the riches of Your glory. With the unique gifts which Thou had given us at the beginning of creation: for Thou decreed: “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."- (Genesis I: 26) Let our fold, therefore, be an attraction to a beautiful flock that will constantly seek to know and worship You in peace. Make their desires forever new every day. Declare that the unique gathering will be a place to anchor their peace, fruitfulness, and healing. Give them divine breakthrough and joy that will establish newer testimonies in their lives in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen  We wish all our children a happy Juvenile Harvest Celebration. Checking into God’s Presence... “The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue. The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain. Although my house be not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow.” 2 Samuel 23:2-5 Oh Lord our God, You are the God and the Rock of Israel; speak to us today You that ruleth over the affairs of men. Help us to commit our souls to the works of Thine hands and give us the strength to always trust in the power of Your Name. Make each moment in our lives rest on the energy that surrounds crucifixion and resurrection. Let our feet run after the delights of Your commandments and take us to a dwelling place surrounded with healing, peace, joy, breakthrough and Your supernatural blessings. Declare with Your Name to make us shine as the light of the morning and unto the rising of the sun. Open each day to everyone and let us enjoy a morning without any clouds. Allow us to flourish by Your grace, and like a tender grass springing out of the earth with the effects of the shining sun after the rain.  Put Your Word in our tongues and bring us to overcome all incidences of hatred, including challenges of any format. Dismantle also every unpleasant slogan caused by our enemies but can create unnecessary setbacks, illnesses, redundancies, unemployment, confusion, doubts and the ability to forsake Your Holy Name. Let our houses come under the administration of Your taste. And for the sake of Abraham, Jacob, Isaac and salvation, allow Your everlasting covenant to satisfy our endeavours. With our desires, we trust in Thee oh Lord, grow them spiritually and empower us to dwell in the land that flows with milk and honey. Checking into God’s Presence... “And I spake unto you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone: The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude. (The Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!) How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife? Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you. And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.” Deuteronomy 1: 9-14 Father, we are grateful for the extension of Your mercy through the gift of this new day. We plead with the saving grace of Your right hand to keep us away from the counsel of the ungodly. Wash away our sins with the blood of the Lamb and create a new heart in us. Give us the will always to want to worship You and the understanding which runs with the delight of following Your laws and commandments. We beseech You to give us the empowerment to meditate upon them day and night. Above all, let us be like “a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season”. Forbid that any of our leaves become withered and surfer any shame, sickness, anguish and or sadness because You are God. Checking into God's Presence... "Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together. Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you. I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay. Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and before time, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words. The first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings. For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word. Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion." Isaiah 41: 23-29 Oh Lord our God, while we celebrate the glory in the birth of yet another day, we are looking up to You to wash away our iniquities with the blood of the Lamb and make us Your sons and daughters once again. We want to worship You in peace: therefore, break every power standing against this desire with Your rod of iron. Dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel, all those who try to sit upon our glory. Thou commanded: "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession."-Psalm 2:8 Give us peace, joy, promotion, victory, wisdom, good health, long life and help us to sustain the inheritance which Thou promised through our Father Abraham.  Let our children live long through Your grace, make them fruitful and allow them to be like olive plants round about Thy table. Checking into God’s Presence... ”Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff. Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the Lord, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel. When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the Lord will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together: That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it. Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob. Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.” Isaiah 41:14-22 Arise, O Lord and save us our God: render our enemies powerless, smite them upon their cheekbones and break the teeth of the ungodly that fights relentlessly to see our downfall. Let us be able to lay aside the garments stained with sins. Renew our hearts and make them clean because there’s a fountain flowing from our souls, causing them to sin, thereby making them unclean. Salvation belongs unto Thee Lord: for Your namesake, declare Thy blessings upon us and make us humble, fruitful, plenteous in Holy spirit and diligent in Your work. Above all, let us be washed with the blood of the Lamb, grant us long life with good health and save our children from any demonic onslaughts in Jesus Mighty Name.
