Checking into God’s Presence... This morning while we all enjoy His testimonies; I want to ask if we are you just existing before Him? Is your role in His Presence a matter of ‘just’ or that which rekindles His ideals? Christ’s ideals and opinions of us before His Father was not "a matter of just" but a matter taken very seriously; as a result He humbled Himself to become a Lamb led to the altar as a sacrifice for the remission of our sins. “Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ”. 1 Peter 1:18-19 You have a choice but remember He expects something in return for His selflessness and ever loving sacrifice for the human race and that is to submit our will to Him continuously. Let our worship and services before You be ideal to the extent that we can be considered fit for Your Kingdom in Jesus Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... Welcome to the Season of Lent which gives us a new horizon in form of a new day within a Leap Year in a new decade and a year that was considered new some 57 days ago. But just before you revert back to where you left off yesterday, do you honestly believe that Christ resides in you each day? If you do by association, what do you have in common with Christ? Do you offer a common pretence in the Assembly of God and known mainly by the cross you wear on your neck? Can we describe your relationship with Christ through the Bible you carry as a link to His Holy Name? Could it be the various regalia we put on that only depicts who we are on the outside but has no bearing to what exists in our innermost hearts? Does your sound preaching stand for who you are in Christ? What you write and even when you write, does that attribute alone pin you to the ways of Christ? Do you walk the talk and the Name of Christ? For and in everything, Christ is the key because the Christ in you is the hope of glory. “Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.” Colossians 1:25-29 Use us Mightily this Lenten Season oh Lord as we offer ourselves to You. Let our thoughts and deeds from now on have genuine common ground with Your ways. Make us to walk the faith we profess in You not by association alone but by the trust in the righteousness given to Your Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence..

Checking into God’s Presence... Today is about another message that came through a friend; it has been modified to fit the daily devotional and it is titled "keep hope alive". Hope if we believe can give us an inheritance which can be incorruptible, undefiled and cannot fade away but reserved for us in heaven based on our relationship with God. Apostle Paul declares; “blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:” 1 Peter 1:3-6 Our hope in God makes today possible and tomorrow very attractive but less threatening. Hope too can make death bearable: “for to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” This thought alone should represent the fulcrum of our energy before His Presence so our peace can be guaranteed. However, we can only go forward in life if we believe and put our hope in Him who is I Am that I Am, irrespective of what life may throw at us. May the Lord renew our hope in Him and give us reasons to serve and honour Him in Jesus Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... A friend once shared-"Favour is not a product of qualification or an act of brilliance but simply an endowment of the Mercy of God". In Genesis 39:21, “the LORD was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and gave him favour in the sight of the chief jailer”. Today, the Lord of Hosts shall walk in our favour and no one will be able to stand against us. God shall be our hiding place and will protect us from all trouble. May the Lord's favour locate us this new week and always in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 It is another Sunday, l pray by the same power of God that changed the night into a new morning to dry up any pool that gives us unwilling hearts to serve Him. May God remove all sickness, sorrow and all challenges that may prevent us from appearing before His Presence. As the day breaks forth, our joy shall flow endlessly and our stream of gladness will overflow. We will continue to swim in the ocean of comfort and drink from the brooks of fulfilment to our satisfaction in Jesus Name. Amen. (Jeremiah 31:9) Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is steadfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 A friend wrote "difficult times have been observed to often inspire people to become extraordinary in life if handled positively” in the Presence of the Lord. Challenges and adversities can actually push people towards their greatness as much as storms can lift anyone towards a deeper journey of happiness, fulfillment and above all a life of significance. We can explore ways to gain strength to overcome life's challenges, but remember it is not so much about your experience but largely how you choose to respond to the adversities of life. May the Lord of Grace guide us with His faithfulness so that we will be strong when we ride through storms, and then overcome all its afflictions in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... A poem that was shared with me defined life in various ways... "Life is a challenge; meet it, life is a gift; accept it, life is an adventure; dare it, life is a mystery; unfold it; life is a game: play it; life is a song; sing it, life is an opportunity; take it, life is a journey: complete it, life is a promise; fulfill it; life is a love: love it; life is a puzzle; solve it and life is a goal: achieve in it. The lesson of hope learnt from the poem is that no matter what life may throw at us, we have what it takes to overcome if we depend on God (Romans 8;37). We can easily be discouraged; especially if we go about thinking our troubling issues will never go away. A positive attitude and faith in Christ will make a big difference when we are going through various circumstances. Lord, give us the grace to stand strong and overcome when we are faced with adversities. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... The question about everyday is all about "if tomorrow comes" but no sooner that we are in it, we take things for granted such as the ability to wake up each morning. We are often submerged in our own desires rather than what we actually need in His Presence. As a result, we forget about the grace God has shown us and therefore deprive Him of the honour He deserves. Such traits are shown in various walks of life, throwing us into the field of ingratitude. Today was not promised but yet you are in it! Therefore, let us thank Him and serve Him with every opportunity we have in His Presence. Surely God is ready to enlarge our coasts just like He did to David who went from a shepherd boy to be the King of Israel. (1 Samuel 16-31) May God empower us to lift up our hearts in praise to Him to express our gratitude for all the things He has done. May God also enlarge our coast and grant us peace in Jesus Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?” Ruth 2:10 At this new opportunity to serve God faithfully, can l ask if you believe there are enough practical steps to set God's grace at work in our lives? Being great in life does not constitute the absence of law and so does when you believe the Lord has finally answered your prayers. In all cases, refusing to follow God’s will often leads to an altered destiny. Life offers a continuous exchange until one ceases to exist and no man knows it all except God. Even then; “does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? The killing of animals as a sacrifice does not make people clean as displayed in the Old Testament and “to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams” (1 Samuel 15:22). Our service to God must be matched with His true value and total submission to Godly principles through God’s words and His creation as Ruth demonstrated before Boaz in Ruth 2:10. Do you take advantage of your position as a leader and what evidence do you have before God as a true worshipper? Remember, time waits for no one and while we still live there are enough practical steps to take in order to set the grace of God at work in our lives., As we run the race towards Your Kingdom oh Lord: we pray You will imprint Your true value in us and set us apart so that Your glory will continually shine upon us. Empower us with Your grace to follow what You love and abhor what You hate in Jesus Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... The poet William Henry Davies wrote "What is this life if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare. No time to stand beneath the boughs and stare as long as sheep or cows. No time to see, when woods we pass, where squirrels hide their nuts in grass. No time to see, in broad daylight, streams full of stars, like skies at night". In retrospect, the author was speaking God's Language by always dedicating our time to love God and our neighbours. A language that is so elusive in the world's mechanism. We can't just stand and stare at the word love and we must show the duty of care in the way we express our love to both man and God. It is true that many preach the word but cannot bear to listen to the word, let alone practice it. Some are of the opinion they are very good Christian, when their minds preach otherwise. They are mere caricatures of the word love and their attitude resonates what Proverbs 6:16-19 speaks about; because it lacks the characteristics of God: “These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” Proverbs 6:16-19 Do you lie and do you speak ills of your neighbours. What of empty promises before man and God? We should consider our ways and be wise by living according to the values of God where love is one of its characteristics. Lord, encourage us in Your wisdom so that we will live our lives according to Your ways in Jesus name. Amen. Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... The only Grace that is certain is that of the Lord. Let me assure you that His Grace is eternal so why not tap into it? The only condition is that you must be classified as His Own. ‘Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God’ (Romans 5:1-2). We surrender our lives unto you Lord; we beseech You to draw us away from the temptations of this world so that Your Grace can shine brightly upon us. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:1-2 The only Grace that is certain is that of the Lord and it is the love of God shown to all who seemingly are sinners. Grace is the peace of God given to the restless and the unmerited favour of God granted to those who is less worthy. In a way Grace reveals God in the Scripture with an embodiment of Jesus Christ. It is clearly expressed in the Bible using various promises given to all Christians. As well, it is the most important concept in the whole world. Why can’t we tap into such opportunity which is eternal? The only condition is that you must be classified as one of God’s Own so that being “justified by faith we can have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God’ We surrender our lives unto you Lord; we beseech Thee to draw us away from the temptations of this world and give us joy without tears and blessing without burden. We also please You will allow Your Grace to shine brightly upon us in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence…

Checking into God's Presence... “But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.” Psalm 3:3-6 The rise and fall of each day should remind us about God's refuge and faithfulness. This is because "we have slept and taken rest, and now we have risen up because the Lord hath protected us" (Psalm 3:5) To sleep and wake up is tantamount to being spared from the ills of the night; especially when considering the sinful nature surrounding the hearts of men. I have come to understand through the Word of God that success stories in life depend largely on our perception of the day. If you can see the day as a refuge and an extension of the Grace of God, then you will choose to stay within its confines. On the other hand, one can choose to hide away from the provisions of His refuge in a manner that can be likened to that of Adam and Eve who hid themselves from the Presence of the Lord (Genesis 3:8). What does your life represent today? An Antichrist? Or a life filled with heresies, lasciviousness, greed, backbiting, gossiping, adultery or fornication? (Proverbs 6:16-19, Galatians 5:19-21). Do not allow the sins in your life to make you flee from His Presence. Instead you can choose to run to Christ today and make Him your refuge, trading mainly with the fruits of the Spirit as described in Galatians 5:22-26. You can excel through the power of God only if you make Him your refuge. There could not have been a better time to run to Christ; He holds the key to your peace, instead of running away from Him, run to Him and He will be your perpetual refuge. So help us God. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,” 1 Corinthians 13: 1-4 It is not a mistake that love becomes poignant as a theme in the celebration of Valentine’s Day and it has only come to rubber stamp what Christ Himself preached about love since the whole Bible is a book that progressively preaches the love of Christ to mankind and encourages us to do likewise to our neighbours. Oscar A. Romero once quoted: “We have never preached violence, except the violence of love, which left Christ nailed to a cross, the violence that we must each do to ourselves to overcome our selfishness and such cruel inequalities among us. The violence we preach is not the violence of the sword, the violence of hatred. It is the violence of love, of brotherhood, the violence that wills to beat weapons into sickles for work.” Nowadays, the world festers more on lack of love and or unrequited love. That’s why there is so much unrest in the world today. The true essence of life as Christ portrayed is about creating lasting lovely memories every single day. This love has to be genuine and must unequivocally surrender pride, hatred, jealousies or envy and eschew all arrogance. These however must transcend not just a Valentine’s Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day or indeed during the Easter Period Celebration. Therefore, you may possess the whole world; but if you lack love: you are just like a “sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal” like what Apostle Paul preached in 1 Corinthians 13. The story behind our day to day living should offer a fascinating account of deep love, steadfast faith, and God-given courage in our relationship with each other and should be without fear, doubt, favouritism or eye service; but firmly rooted on the love that Christ preached. Let Your true love guides every relationship oh Lord; and forbid that we enter into any bond as an opportunist, rather make the love that nailed Christ to the cross blossom in our hearts in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high." Psalm. 7:17 Oh Lord our God, we constantly fall short of Your mercy due to our sinful nature, cleanse us spiritually and give us a contrite hearts. We plead with Your Name to whisper Your unconditional love into our souls to remind us that Your mercies are forever new every morning. You are the Almighty, our Rock and Fortress. You are our Redeemer, our Shield and a Strong Tower. You are the Lord Who can always choose to comfort His Children. Help us today oh Lord to anchor ourselves to Your Covenant as given unto Abraham by the dictates of Thy commandments. Assure our testimonies by the confession of our mouths. And grant with Your Might our habit of praise. Let us sing with joy to praise Your Name continually as the most high God, according to the righteousness in Your Name through our Lord Jesus Christ. Checking into God's Presence… "The elder, To my dear friend Gaius, whom I love in the truth. Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." 3 John 1:1-2 Our Father who hath in heaven, we give honour to Your Name as we welcome this new day that encompasses a new beginning in Your Presence; do forgive the sins we have committed before You through the Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ. We know there is no greater joy than for You to see Your children walk with You in the truthfulness in accordance to Your word. As our Lord and Saviour You are also filled with greater joy when we are able to draw unbelievers unto the value of Your tendered mercy. We pray through the value of Your mercy we will prosper in souls and in health. Let us testify to the truthfulness of the power in Your Name. Impart Your discerning spirit through us and teach us to understand the value of Your righteousness. Guide us in our desire to walk circumspectly before Thee and keep us with the power of Your hand on the path of salvation. With the assurances given by Your covenant, let us receive and continue to see Your heavenly secrets which are earmarked for those who have made You their God. When we preach to the world about Your love; empower us to maintain such love in our hearts so that people can go home in a manner that honours Your Holy Name. For the sake of Your work, let us be faithful in our duties even when we deal with strangers. Forbid so that our actions do not make them receive help from the pagans of this world after they have come to receive Your salvation. Create in us a heart that shows hospitality and empower us individually to work always for the truth in Your name. Give us the power to do away with evil thoughts and emulate what is good in Your Name. Also allow our testimonies to be full in Your Presence in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "Hear the right, O Lord, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips. Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal." Psalm 17:1-2 Oh Lord our God, Thou has visited us in the night and You have tried our souls. With Your mercy Thou found nothing to subject us to early death; rather You proved us to be righteous by keeping us alive till this day. Therefore, "hear the right, O Lord, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips."-(Psalm 17:1) "Let our sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal."- Psalm 17:2 By the word of Thy lips; keep us away from the paths of our enemies who seek to destroy us. Guide us with the value of Your name so our footsteps will not slip for the sake of our enemies. Incline Thine ear unto our supplications and listen as we make our plea through our speech. We know if we call on Thee thou will listen and hear us O God because we have put our trust in Your Holy Name. By Your loving kindness continue to show us Thy faithfulness and save us with Your right hand. "Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness."-(Psalm 17:8;15) Make this blessings come upon us in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 15: 56-58 All thanks unto God, who has given us power and victory through our Lord Jesus Christ over death. Quite simply, the value of God’s covenant with each and everyone has brought us within the touching distance of the newness of His mercy for another day. We therefore ask Lord: that You will continue to remember the covenant You made with Abraham in our relationship with You and declare them new every morning for great is Thy faithfulness oh God. With faith and courage in the power in Your Name, we look upon Thee to guarantee the newness of Your mercy and cover our sins with the love given to Your only Son. Remove the value death has placed upon every soul and traces of all kinds of illnesses. Cast out tribulations, confusion, fear and the inability to trust in Your Name. We recall from the words of Your mouth that: "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fails not". We plead by the same compassion to remove untimely death, any hues and cries, sickness, anger, hatred, jealousies and lack of wisdom. Give us knowledge, understanding and let Your Holy Spirit continue to flourish in our midst in Jesus Name. Your word says "You have compassion according to the multitude of Your mercies,": as Your children, do not allow our sins to afflict or grieve us willingly. Your covenant through Abraham and the Blood of the Lamb: makes You our portion, ensure we continue to hope, trust and believe in You. As we call on You today, be good unto us according to Your Name and the word that had proceeded from Your mouth. Your word says "It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for Your salvation". Now "Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not. O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life".Lamentation 3:56-58. For Your Name Sake, let us receive from You the above blessings in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them." Genesis 50: 19-32. Our Father, who hath in heaven; hallowed be Thy name. Great things You have done to have brought us to share in the value of Your Presence for another day. We beseech Thee to let the joy associated with this new value begins to remove the presence of fear in our lives in Jesus name. Fear has become a snare commonly caused by known and unknown facts created by Satan our Arch enemy. Its operation alone dehumanizes, apart from having the power to remove the ability to trust, hope and believe in You. Be our God Father and remove all the incidences of fear engulfing our lives from today in Jesus name. Through Your power Father; You restored joy back within the family of Joseph in spite of the sins committed against Him by His brethren, by the same dimension we plead by Your Name to remove whatever fear that may be causing awe and standing in place of Your Name in our lives in Jesus name. And with Your name and power; turn to joy the evil plans of the enemies necessitating fear, doubts, failures and lack of breakthrough that causes distress upon our lives in Jesus name. Nurture and nourish our souls to Your understanding. Let Your word in us comfort and allow peace in our lives. Then allow people begin to look upon us with kindness, favour and peace for Your Name Sake in Jesus name. Amen Grant and enrich our spiritual understanding; bring them to pass from this day and improve the quality of our desire to walk with Thee on the path of righteousness. Save us as Your Children from the perils and tribulations of this world in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;" Philippians 2:8-10 Lord, for we to receive anything from You, we must be able to confess with our tongues that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour to the glory of God the Father: And according to Your word; we open our mouths to pray before You today to confess through Your name that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Redeemer. As Your Children, we beseech You to empower us to receive Christ as our Lord and Saviour with all gladness; even so let us continue to hold such in reputation: Do have mercy on us; not as individuals alone but also through our different ministries, work establishments and on any work that will give us prospect according to the covenant of peace which You made with us. Protect us so we do not live with sorrow upon sorrow. Set us free from all bondage with the power in Your name that we may rejoice and be less sorrowful in life as You make Your joy our strength. Lord, Thou gave Your Son Jesus Christ a name which is above every name. Thou also exalted Him very highly that at His name every knee should bow. We pray therefore that through Him You will make us to behold the things in heaven. Make the treasures and the riches in heaven to be our companion from today in His name. According to Your command: at the name of Jesus we must bow on our knees; therefore let the things on earth and under the earth begin to produce wealth in an unimaginable fashion to all Your Children in Jesus name. And through this power Lord, remove lack, wants and poverty from our terrain. Disburse indiscriminately upon Your Children today: wealth, peace, joy, healing, long life, prosperity, victory, knowledge, wisdom and understanding in an unimaginable measure. Allow also, Christ submission and obedience unto the stigma of death, His crucifixion and even His death and the type of death on the cross to begin to fight our claim for us before You and in His name. Checking into God's Presence... "And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them."-Exodus 2:23-25 Malachi 3:6 states- "I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed." Father we give You honour and praises for the gift of life and because You are still in the habit of remembering those who are called by Your name. We beseech You to forgive all sins that will prevent You from taking interest in our affairs today. Begin to respect our cries as we make our petition unto Your throne of mercy. In Your name; listen to us as we groan before You today. Notwithstanding how inaudible our cries may sound Lord; let them remind You of the covenant You made "with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob." By the reasons of our afflictions; bondage, unhappiness, lack of achievement, failures, monthly woes, miscarriages, misfortunes, still births, unemployment, sickness, traces of barrenness and problems relating to conception which revolves round those who are called by Your name: Let our cries, sighs and pain come up to Thee today by the reasons of those woes and by the same covenant of peace You have made with Abraham; all in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence... "And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord. "Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto." 1 Samuel 1:15-16 Our Father in heaven; we thank You for the gift of life presented to us in the form of a new day. As Children of Yours, we are naturally bound to open our mouths to pray unto You; some joyfully and others with sorrow in their hearts: We beseech You to take interest in our affairs. Let the thoughts of our hearts and the words coming from our mouths be seen as supplications and not as words coming from a drunkard and or someone being possessed by the evil spirit. Like Hannah in Shiloh, as we pour out the contents of our hearts before Thee Lord; remove every stigma of sins and do not count our petition as vain before You. Instead, create in us a new heart and make our prayers to come up unto Thee through the Blood of the Lamb. Cast off any garment of shame, take away our reproach, make us victorious, heal and clothe us with honour, joy, peace, knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Unto Hannah in Shiloh Eli made this pronouncements- "Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him"-1 Samuel 1:17. Father through Your mercy and because of Your name: make such declarations upon our lives today. With Your mercy grant that we receive answers to our petitions from You today in the Name of Christ. Checking into God's Presence... "Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures." James 1:16-18 Father; You have saved us so we can continue to serve by the command of our Saviour and of Christ Jesus who is our hope and redeemer. We plead by His blood and through Your name to teach us the word of truth. In Your Name make us listen and appoint us as the first fruits that can be likened to Your creation. Thou commanded- "do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above," We ask by these assurances that you will take away our iniquities and give us milk in due season. James 1:3 states "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience". We ask that You will give us enough courage and the will to serve You with patience. Teach us to understand the need to always want to work with You in faith, hope and trust. And if indeed every good gift is from Thee Lord, perfect our works before You and let us be perfect in everything; desiring nothing except steps that will leads us to righteousness. Blessed You said "is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him."-James 1:12 Teach us therefore the ability to eschew all "filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save our souls." (James 1:21) in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope." Lamentation 3:19-21 Of the truth Lord; it is because of Your mercies that we have not been consumed. The Bible records that Your compassions and Your covenant can never fail. "They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." Lamentation 3:23. Therefore Lord, as we arise into the newness of Your mercy today; take away our afflictions and every infirmity which tends to separate us from Your kindness. Father, we are humbled by level of our challenges because we always remember them but great the Bible claimed is Your name and faithfulness: For those reasons, let every mouth that calls on Thee today and every kneel that recalls and remember to confess in their mind that You are their Lord: You will arise with Your might oh Lord and satisfy them as they present their petitions before Thee. Without any doubt; we all claim to be Your children and our souls often confess that the "Lord is our portion": Father, give us strength adequate enough to continue to hope in the power of Your name. For we learnt: "The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him."- Lamentation 3:25. Therefore, let Your goodness, victory, joy, testimony and blessing surround us forever more. Grant that the testimonies that abound through us to be potent enough to declare the richness and the treasures associated with Your holy name. "It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord." Lamentation 3:26. Father we plead to allow Your mercy to speak on behalf of many that looks up to You today. If indeed Your mercy are new every morning and that great is thy faithfulness: Begin to break every stronghold of Satan that is suppressing and manipulating our glory and lead us out of every captivity. The affairs of this world constantly puts us in the position of thirst and hunger; in every dimension. With the assurances given by Your name, conquer those thirst and hunger for us today and instead fill us with Your living water. We beseech You to continue to act and remain our God so that Your peace in us can be assured and measured according to Your faithfulness and riches in glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen Just Checking into His Presence..

Checking into God's Presence... "For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name." Isaiah 62:1-2 Father we want to thank You for the new covenant You have established with us today by keeping us alive. For our benefits, we implore You to allow the grace to flourish; also continue to protect and keep us alive so that we can wear the crown of glory in Your presence. Remove our guilt, shame and improprieties today; forbid and remove every stigma that will ensure we are no longer termed forsaken through our conducts by Your grace. Use Your power oh Lord; break into our fallow land. Blot out every infertility surrounding the dryness of our lands, including the inability to conceive or bear any fruit. You already swore through Your prophet by Your name in Jeremiah 29:11-13 that-"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." We beseech You now to keep Your promise by the power of Your right hand. Do refuse to give our corn as meat to our enemies and or our sons to be labourers to any stranger. Through Your Word Father: let us be known by a new name. Classify us as Your holy people and the redeemed of the Lord. By Your name, let us be sought out for honour, favour, glory and employment that attract elevation. Render useless any power that wants us to be hospitalized and do not allow any of Your children to be forsaken in Jesus name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him." Psalm 32:5-6 Father we thank Thee for all the privileges given to us to see this new day in the month of February. We give You honour and glory as we enjoy these new privileges within the value of Your Presence. In Psalm 103:17 Your word declares- "But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him and his righteousness unto children's children;" Through this mercy, we confess, accept and acknowledge our guilt before You. We beseech You to forgive and wash us thoroughly from our iniquities with the power of Your might. It is so true that our sins are not hidden from Thee: but with Your everlasting grace; we beseech You to cover us with the strength of Your hand and let us be able to hide ourselves in the power of Your name. According to the work of Thine hand; continue to preserve, guide and instruct us on the way to go for our songs of deliverance to be guaranteed. Within the new guarantee we beseech You to prevent us from entering into new trouble. As the year continues to wither away Lord we put our trust in Thee: let Your mercy encompass us and give us long life with good health. This new month, You will infuse Your joy, peace, blessing and favour into our lives. As Your Children: let us rejoice as we seek to be upright within our hearts, empower us so we can continue to seek Your righteousness with joy; for in Thee we put our trust. Checking into God's Presence... "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." Romans 5:1-2 Father in Heaven, we plead unto Your holiness to give us patience, faith and hope to ride the storm of what we classified as tribulations today. In return; let us begin to enjoy peace, joy and blessings. In glory, let Your love and the desire to walk circumspectly overwhelm our hearts through the Holy Ghost which has been given to us. In that: while we were yet sinners You commanded Your love toward us; as a result Christ died for the sake of our sins. Let this love transform our lives and make us worthy of Your salvation in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "Give ear, O ye heavens and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God."-Deuteronomy 32:1-3 Father You are the Rock and Your work is perfect: for You are the God of truth who is without iniquity. You are just, holy and always right. This morning, we beseech You to remove corruption from our ways even though we live in a perverse generation. Let our spot be redeemed by You so that we can be classified as Your Children. Deuteronomy 32:9 says- for the Lord's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance." Father established us within the confines of Your inheritance. Take us away from every desert land and any deposits from the waste of howling darkness which parades or try to parade our glory in the wilderness. Begin to lead us about from today with the fortitude of Your greatness and instruct us spiritually so we can always be kept as the apple of Your eye. Open our hearts to the understanding of Your work Lord; and as You lead us through our services before You; we plead that You will endow us with the courage to work with You alone and without subjecting our hope and faith to the attributes of the principles of a lesser god. Also grant that we eschew the tendency to begin to have and to serve any of these strange gods. With Your unquestionable, power; make us to ride on the high places of the earth so that we might eat the fat increase of the fields from the labour of our hands. With Your love, grant us the privilege according to Deuteronomy 32:13-14": to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock, butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat” in Jesus Name. Checking into God's Presence... "Hear the right, O Lord, attend unto my cry, and give ear unto my prayer that goeth not out of feigned lips. Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal".-Psalm 17:1-2 Lord; as part of the privileges given to us out of the right to enjoy Your benevolence; we are calling on You to blot out our sorrow and wipe away our tears where we may have been crying. Even as we come before You today: we plead by the assurances given by the work of Thine hand and the truthfulness that surrounds Your Holy name for You to be attentive to our prayers made out of our supplications. Father; from Your Mind, behold the sentences coming out of our hearts before the value of Your Presence: empower them and set them alive in Thee. Thou hast proved You are God; You visited us in the night and saved us from the perils that surrounded our dreams, therefore let our steps walk according to Your instructions, fortify our hearts and make them fit for Your use. Purposely condition our mouths so they do not see corruption and our bodies not to transgress before You. Father, we choose to call upon You today for we know Thou would hear us, incline and set Thy ear unto our prayers, hear and put values to our speeches. We beseech You to make them as precious as the Blood of the Lamb. "keep us as the apple of the eye, hide us under the shadow of thy wings," Make us to behold Thy face in righteousness and be satisfied when we rise from our sleep with Thy likeness in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth." Psalm 33:4-6 Father; Your word establishes Your counsel to stand for ever and the thoughts of Your heart to belong to all generations; Today, let all those who come before You with their petition stand in awe of the fulfilment of Your word:for You spoke, and it was done; You commanded and it stood firm. Therefore chose us as Your inheritance and bless our homes as we look unto You. We beseech You to constantly take the position of our God in every situation. From Your place of habitation, behold us and the strength of our weaknesses. As Your children, remove all waywardness that can separate us from Your glory. Do not consider the sins that ooze out from the works of our hands; but save us much by the blood of the Lamb through Your strength because no other strength is as great as Your strength. It is so true that we put our hope in Your mercy; as we look into Your eyes, we want You to heal our lands, deliver our souls from death, keep us away from famine and make us alive in Thee. We pinned our hope in Your name therefore our souls lie in wait for You oh Lord: be our help, our shield, and our redeemer and let our souls see salvation. "For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee." Psalm 33:21-22. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...
