Testimony Time
When men desert you under any guise, be rest assured that God will not leave you. If you are truly in Christ, it is not a taboo that friends will disappoint; your genuine calls can be intentionally diverted into voicemail; while your network service provider can create unnecessary problems with your line. In addition, your mobile phone batteries may choose to be flat intermittently. In all these, God's love will ever be constant because He sees and knows everything. The Bible confirms God does not sleep or slumber.-("Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep")-(Psalm 121:4) so; if your life were to be played as music, will your tune appeal to anyone to dance to? Which song are you dancing to? One that pleases the demons or that of the angels? Maybe you don't know: some ways of life pleases the demons instead of the angels.
Therefore, I will encourage you to stop the process of camouflage in your life today: replay it and then see what happens. Does it put you in the right mode of worship with Christ? Job 1:8 says- "Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil." Can this assessment be true description of your life story? Stop and ponder for a while if you are still in the race of faith proclaiming to be Christ Ambassador. Don't forget, it is not impractical to see some people in the church but still they can be out of the church. They will bear no link with their positions, costumes, prophesies and other attributes they may be using to cajole unsuspecting culprits.
Today, I encourage you to rise from your slumber and stop being clothed in your former glory. Though you are in the presence of God, you may be overwritten with bondages; the sad thing is if you don't know of this dilemma. If indeed you do know, what have you done about it? Now listen to this-"O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill? He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart; who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbour nor takes up a reproach against his friend; in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honours those who fear the Lord; who swears to his own hurt and does not change; who does not put out his money at interest
and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved." Psalm 15
Father; do not allow the affairs of this world to cripple the covenant of peace You have apportioned for us. Amen
