Checking into Gods Presence... 

In this new month of February, I encourage you all to allow the Word of God to reside in you so that our paths can be illuminated to receive God’s blessings.

It is the Word of God that can take us away from the realm of broken/un-kept promises and vitalise our bodies to witness the reality of Christ that we serve. (Romans 8:11)

When this shall occur now depends so much on you believing in His Word because Christ had already given His life for our physical bodies to be nourished, albeit in His Presence. 

Are you working rightly before Him? Can you safely say you belong to Him? And what mark do you carry; Satan, Jesus or a bit of both?

Father we want you to make a turnaround in all our hopeless situations and position us with your peace, grace, joy and comfort in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Surprisingly, it is a new day and we are very much in it to the Lord’s glory, but whatever you aim to achieve today, I encourage you not to come off that Wheel.

And if you are still dithering about which path to take, get on board of the Wheel of Grace and then begin to see every tumultuous experience of life disappear. Serving the Lord guarantees peace, joy, comfort,  riches, divine breakthrough, good health and long life according to Phillipians 4: 19-20: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”

Lord we beseech You in Your power to keep us attached to your Wheel of Grace in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Please be aware that as good as our sleep may have been; it came to an end this morning. Now we are faced with the reality of another day filled with the Presence of the Lord, but only for those who acknowledge His Supremacy.

Please note, all sermons, prayers, teachings, write ups and counselling based on the Words of God becomes a lamp to the commandments of God. And all reproofs for instruction should now become the ways of life (Proverbs 6:23)

Are you a Shepherd, a Pastor, a Prophet or a born again Christian?? Does your anointing, status, claims or robes replicate what you carry in your heart? 

Lord we beseech you to rekindle our desires to serve and honour You truthfully like the little children because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen

We were created with delight and the Lord saw the outcome to be very good. In addition, God also gave man dominion over other things He had created. Genesis 1:26-31

His purpose for creation was to serve Him and be obedient to His Command so that we can share in His Glory. And not for us to act as masters over Him because of the little knowledge He gave us.

Where then has He gone wrong and what has He got to lose where we constantly fail to follow His precepts?

Please note, on this Lord’s Day that if we decide to serve, honour, obey, walk and work with God, it is for your own good, and the alternative is to allow the challenges of the world to take over our affairs.

Lord, all power belongs to Thee; please use Your Supremacy to rule our affairs so that we can constantly be called Your own in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence... 

When the Lord created the heavens and the earth in Genesis 1&2, He was delightful that it was perfect. He now gave men the power of dominion upon all that He had created so that we can continue to tend and care upon His perfection. 

This is because men have simply assumed the image of God and can therefore be considered perfect in His Presence. Owing to the above, we have seen, heard and learnt about how the first man became imperfect. As a result, Christ had to come as a ransom to obliterate the level of the unrighteousness in us through His death.

By so doing, He can bring us back to the stage of perfection which already had proven so elusive. This is because the Lord reversed His original purpose upon men as a result of our unrighteousness.

2000 years on, are you still in this dilemma? How much care are you exhibiting in the Lord's Garden? Are you spiteful, revengeful, hateful, and engrossed with lasciviousness? What can men say about you?

Lord let us make the necessary changes in our lives so that we do not take Your death upon the cross in vain in Jesus name. Amen

It is another time to express warm wishes to ourselves as we experience another gift from God through His Grace for keeping us till this moment.

God's presence can be felt at all times but many still fail to get connected, not as a result of ignorance but through their nonchalant attitude.

God cares. He paid the ultimate price by allowing His Son to die for our sake so that we can regain possession of His promise. What other price do you want Him to pay before you begin to listen to Him? Please remember, after Christ is judgment.

Lord we beseech You to give us the wisdom to learn from our fore fathers mistakes so that from now we will begin to embrace your precepts, and by so doing Christ will always wrap His Hands around us. Amen

The time can be moved up or down by human knowledge but it has no bearing on the original time given unto us by God.

Out of all the time we have enjoyed through the popular claim: "I am a born again", we should by now be worshiping Him stylishly.

And that is with the depth of the knowledge of what we have seen, heard, known and believed about God. Can l then ask if we are very close to the Lord’s dictates? Today is another time to make amends in His Presence.

Lord we pray that upon what we have learnt about You, we will exhibit great standards fit enough to worship You in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

This new year is already on its wings, as a result we must all tread very carefully, knowing that our strides are overwhelmed with the battle of styles between what is of God and that of Satan.

And who are you going to play for as the year consistently picks its race? Although we may pretend not to know, but it is the battle of styles that holds the fulcrum of every life.

Are you going to allow the style that encompasses thoughts, feelings,  emotions, deeds, beliefs, faith and worship to fade and then be encamped with the styles noted mainly for Satan?

Please remember: Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore. (Psalm 125)

However, we all have our lives our hands, therefore the onus is on us to appraise our styles and ensure it matches the Lord's.

Lord as we choose to follow you today, let our styles be fit for the purpose of our creation so that your glory will shine upon us according to your covenant. Amen

Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. Romans 13:8 But do you know that love is stronger than death and the grave put together, are stronger than any sin? 

Such was the love Christ has for us to have laid His life down for humanity. In doing so, Christ ensures He will continue to live forever in our hearts based upon the love we have for each other. (Song of Solomon 8:6) "Put me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, jealousy is as severe as Sheol; its flashes are flashes of fire.

Today we beseech You oh God to give us the grace to understand and experience the power behind your love through which You will continue live in our hearts in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Today being a new day within a new week in a brand new year, and I want to ask each and everyone just how friendly we are to God. 

If indeed we have made God our friend, how close is our relationship with Him? We have to understand that we can only walk with God if there is unity between us and His purpose. But how do you measure in the light of this challenge? 

The choice is absolutely ours, we can begin to walk with Him and share in His inheritance whilst on earth or do otherwise and begin to lead a life filled with unmerited pressures. "To obey is always better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of Rams" (1 Samuel 15:22) 

In this new week, may we be blessed to obey the precepts of the Lord in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

The ministry of Christ requires people to assist in edifying His name by way of preaching, counselling, prophecy and charitable deeds.

The question is are you one that ministers in Christ’s Kingdom or one that causes trouble in the House of God? Life in itself is described as troublesome in Job 14:14. Do you still instill and infuse trouble with your spiritual DNA whilst your soul is also hungry and thirsty for the fullness of Christ? Psalm 107: 4-5

In the Book of Genesis, God set out from the onset and described the differences between good and bad and the profits attached to them. By the same token, I will advise you to be a divine minister for Christ; be a problem solver and not part of any problem orchestrated in any church. 

Lord God of mercy, make us your own and allow us to work for the redemption of our souls in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence... 

Welcome to another sunrise which the Lord has kindly delivered to everyone kept alive through His Grace today. However, do you believe God has reasons for keeping His Covenant through the rise and fall of the sun? 

Let me therefore assure you that the most important of them all is to offer each of us the opportunity to rise and shine where we may have fallen before Him the day before. The ardent failure on our part is our inability to desist from offering sacrifice of unrighteousness on a daily basis. 

We continuously sin and often sin more in order to cover up earlier mistakes. Now that there is another sunrise, would you continue in the same manner? Are you ready to begin anew and start to offer offerings of love, humbleness, worship, penitence, praise, and prayers which are holy and acceptable to God? 

Time indeed is of the essence but just how many of His sunrises do you think you will be able to count? May the power of God give us the strength to present before His Grace offerings that are righteous and acceptable in Jesus  Mighty name. Amen

The day is new and the Lord has already started a new thing upon our lives. He searched our hearts and decided to put a new song in our mouths. All to His glory and within the confines of His Presence.

I want you all to always remember that those who wait on the Lord will always reach their destination. (Psalm 40)

Lord we ask that you will preserve your new joy in us and also overwhelm us with your greatness in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

For as long as night rolls into a new dawn there will always be a new day to celebrate to those who the Lord decides to keep.

There is something unique about the Lord we serve; He is full of surprises to those who wait patiently for His promises.

Are you in a rush? Do you question His abilities? Are you considered as someone with no hope? Please note, with God there are no limitations. Often He comes in different guises to confuse your enemies. Your stories will change just like that of Joseph in Genesis 37.

All limitations in our journeys will cease from today and we will begin to experience His fullness in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

This message was shared with me and l considered it fit for today’s devotional message. 

Life Is a Gift

So today and before you say any unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who died too young. Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children but they're barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job. But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember that not one of us is without sin and we all answer to one MAKER.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and thank GOD you're alive and still around. And before you think of signing out, know that life is a complete cycle which began in heaven and must surely end in heaven.

Lord we pray for the spirit of gratitude and perseverance. Let us know that when things are not great, we must not be overwhelmed with the thoughts of abandonment. Help us to believe that You can still raise us up from the dust as you did with Joseph who went from a pit, to a prison, and then to a palace. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence... 

We are already part of the Lord’s glory but God went further by giving us an open invitation to share in its success, image and fruitfulness when He created us in His likelihood.

In return, God wants us to praise Him for this opportunity. But in reality, how much of His character do we display? How much praise is on our lips? We often walk around like gods; flaunting the successes we have achieved in this world, instead of giving the glory back to God. 

Beware and know that it is the beginning of limitations that we experience as humans. Can a piece of clay know more than the potter? Isaiah 29:16 and Romans 9:21

So, and this New Year and in this new week, we should begin to glorify Him, and show we are nothing before His Supremacy and then see everything turning around in our favour.

I pray we will all have a delightful and fulfilling day in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence... 

I congratulate each and everyone for the Grace of God which conform us to the image of His Son so we can be the firstborns among many brethren. Romans 8:29

But within the time we have left to bear His image, how much of it have we successfully put on? Have you become like an ocean that will not receive the droplets of the rain water? 

Or are you filled with pride to such an extent that you consider yourself to be beyond teaching?

What pain can you bear for Christ in humility? How much of His love can you show for things to work together for good to those who claimed to love God like you do?

Christ bore the guilt of our sins. He chose to die even though He was blameless so that we can live according to His purpose, and by doing so continue to have access to His Grace.

Are you living a life that makes His efforts to be in vain? Remember, the examples were set for us so that we can continue to do likewise. We may think it is for the sake of Christ alone, but we are yet to realise it has so much to do with our own gains.

Lord we pray for our lives to be transformed so that our wills and desires will not run contrary to the image of firstborns among many brethren in Your Kingdom. Amen

Hebrews 2:1-3 encourages us to re-embrace the desire to seek salvation. Christ paid the ransom for our souls which transferred the ownership of our bodies into His care through His unfailing qualities of love. 

This is an act that reduces us to mere custodians of our bodies.

If you are consistently truthful, obedient, prayerful and steadfast in your worship to Him, no matter how broken you consider yourself to be, He is ready to rearrange the pieces and make you whole again.

So, and in this new year oh Lord we beseech You to make us whole again where the troubles of the world have eaten us deep. Use that precious blood of Your Son Jesus Christ to redeem, realign and relocate us with Your peace in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence... 

This morning and while we all enjoy His testimonies I want to ask are you just existing before Him? Is your role in His Presence a matter of ‘just’ or that which rekindles His ideals?

Christ’s ideals and opinions of us before His Father was not "a matter of just" but a matter taken very seriously; as a result He humbled Himself to become a Lamb led to the altar as a sacrifice for the remission of our sins-“knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ”. (1 Peter 1:18-19 (http://bible.knowing-jesus.com/1-Peter/1/18))

You have a choice but remember He expects something in return for His selflessness and ever loving sacrifice for the human race which is to submit our will to God.

Let our worship and services before You be ideal to the extent that we can be considered fit for Your Kingdom in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

The new year is on its wings again. It is the eleventh day and so l Welcome you all to a new horizon in the form of this new day. Before you revert back to where you left off last night, l would love to ask if you honestly believe that Christ resides in each day? 

Quite frankly, If you only do by association, what then do you have in common with Christ? Would that be mainly the cross you wear on your neck or the Bible you simply carry as a link to His Holy Name? 

Could it be the various regalia we put on that only depicts who we are on the outside but has no bearing to what exists in our innermost hearts? Does your sound preaching and brilliant prowess in writing stands for who you are in Christ? 

What you write and even when you write, does that attribute alone pin you to the ways of Christ? Please remember, for and in everything, Christ is the key because the Christ in you is the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27)

We beseech you Lord to allow our thoughts and deeds from now to have genuine common ground with Your ways in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence... 

Today is about another message that came through a friend but it has been modified to fit the daily devotional. It is entitled "keep hope alive".


Hope makes today possible and tomorrow very attractive and less threatening. Hope makes death bearable and should represent the fulcrum of our energy before the Lord’s Presence. 

We can only go forward in life if we believe and put our hope in Him who is I Am that I Am.

1 Peter 1:3-6 states

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 

4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade--kept in heaven for you, 

5 who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 

6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.


May the Lord renew our hope in 

Him and suppress all emotional feelings capable of drawing us away from His presence in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

A friend once shared-"Favour is not a product of qualification or an act of brilliance but simply an endowment of the Mercy of God". In Genesis 39:21 (http://bible.knowing-jesus.com/Genesis/39/21), “the LORD was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and gave him favour in the sight of the chief jailer”.

In this New Year and on the ninth day, the Lord of Hosts shall walk in our favour and no one will be able to stand against us. God shall be our hiding place and will protect us all from trouble.

I also pray for the Lord's favour to saturates each and everyone today and always in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

It is the eight day in the New Year, my prayer today is that as the day breaks forth, our joy shall flow endlessly and our stream of gladness will overflow.

We will continue to swim in the ocean of comfort and drink from the brooks of fulfilment to our satisfaction. (Jeremiah 31:9)

By the same power of God that changed the night into a new morning, I pray that any pool of sorrow we may be currently experiencing shall dry up in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

This week, and beyond, the grace of God will be the source of our strength and the strength of our life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence...  

A friend wrote "difficult times have been observed to often inspire people to become extraordinary in life if handled positively” in the Presence of the Lord.

Challenges and adversities can actually push people towards their greatness as much as storms can lift anyone towards a deeper journey of happiness, fulfilment and above all a life of significance.

We can always explore ways to gain strength to overcome life's challenges, but remember it is not so much about your experience but largely how you choose to respond to the adversities of life. 

I therefore say “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

May the Lord of Grace guide us with His faithfulness to be strong when we ride through any storm and overcome all its afflictions in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence... 

A poem that was shared with me defined life in various ways...

"Life is a challenge; meet it, life is a gift; accept it, life is an adventure; dare it, life is a mystery; unfold it; life is a game: play it; life is a song; sing it, life is an opportunity; take it, life is a journey: complete it, life is a promise; fulfil it; life is a love: love it; life is a puzzle; solve it and life is a goal: achieve in it.

The lesson of hope learnt from the poem is that no matter what life may throw at us, we have what it takes to overcome if we depend on God. For “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8;37). 

However, we can easily be discouraged through our emotions and feelings, especially if we go about thinking our troubling issues will never go away. 

In this New Year, l want to assure you that a positive attitude and faith in Christ will always make a big difference when we are going through various circumstances. 

I therefore pray to the Lord to give us the grace to stand strong to overcome when we are faced with any adversities in Jesus Name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence...  

The question about everyday is all about "if tomorrow comes" but no sooner that we are in it, we take things for granted such as the ability to wake up each morning. But we are often submerged in our own desires rather than what we actually need in God's Presence. 

As a result, we forget about the grace God has shown us and therefore deprive Him of the honour He deserves. Such traits are shown in various walks of life, throwing us into the field of ingratitude. Today was not promised but yet you are in it! What else do you want?

Therefore, let us thank Him and serve Him with every opportunity we have in His Presence. Surely God is ready to enlarge our coasts just like He did to David who went from a shepherd boy to be the King of Israel. (1 Samuel 16-31)

In this New Year, may we be empowered to lift up our hearts in His praise and begin to express gratitude to God for all the things He has done and may He enlarge our coast as a result in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence...  

This is another opportunity to serve God faithfully, and I want to ask if you believe that there are enough practical steps to set God's grace at work in our lives. 

Being great does not constitute the absence of law. Refusing to follow God’s will often leads to an altered destiny. Life is a continuous exchange and no man knows it all. 

The killing of animals as a sacrifice does not make people clean as displayed in the Old Testament. “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams” (1 Samuel 15:22). 

Our service to God must also be matched with believe, trust that has value and submission as Ruth demonstrated before Boaz in Ruth 2:10.


Lord, we pray that you imprint your true value in us. Set us apart for your glory to shine on us as we run the race towards Your Kingdom in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence...  

The poet William Henry Davies wrote "What is this life if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare. No time to stand beneath the boughs and stare as long as sheep or cows. No time to see, when woods we pass, where squirrels hide their nuts in grass. No time to see, in broad daylight, streams full of stars, like skies at night".

In retrospect, the author was speaking God's Language which is Love. A language that is so elusive in the world's mechanism. We can't just stand and stare at the word love; we must show the duty of care. 

It is true that many preach the word but cannot bear to listen to the word, let alone practice it. Many are mere caricatures of the word love, their attitude resonates what Proverbs 6:16-19 speaks about.

And so this New Year, let us consider our ways and be wise. We should start to live according to the values of God where love is one of its characteristics and that is irrespective of your position. For the Bible is very clear about our responsibilities towards one another, and it must be freely given.

Checking into Gods Presence...  

The only Grace that is certain is that of the Lord. Let me assure you that His Grace is eternal so why not tap into it? The only condition is that you must be classified as His Own. 

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God’ (Romans 5:1-2).

We surrender our lives unto you Lord; we beseech You to draw us away from the temptations of this world so that Your Grace can shine brightly upon us in Jesus Name. Amen

Checking into Gods Presence... 

The rise and fall of each day should remind us about God's refuge and faithfulness. This is because "we have slept and taken rest, and now we have risen up because the Lord hath protected us" (Psalm 3:5). 

To sleep and wake up is tantamount to being spared from the ills of the night; especially when considering the sinful nature surrounding the hearts of men. I have come to understand through the Word of God that success stories in life depend largely on your perception of the day. 

If you can see the day as a refuge and an extension of the Grace of God, then you will choose to stay within its confines. On the other hand, one can choose to hide away from the provisions of His refuge in a manner that can be likened to that of Adam and Eve who hid themselves from the Presence of the Lord (Genesis 3:8). 

What does your life represent today? An antichrist? Or a life filled with heresies, lasciviousness, greed, backbiting, gossiping, adultery or fornication? (Proverbs 6:16-19, Galatians 5:19-21). 

This New Year, do not allow the sins in your life to make you flee from His Presence. Instead you can choose to run to Christ today and make Him your refuge, trading mainly with the fruits of the Spirit as described in Galatians 5:22-26.

This New Year therefore, you can excel through the power of God only if you make Him your refuge. There could not have been a better time to run to Christ; He holds the key to your peace, instead of running away from Him, run to Him and He will be your perpetual refuge. Amen
