Checking into Gods Presence...
Romans 15:4 says whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope, faith and then trust and believe in the Name of God.
This is because although many claim to know God, they have not been worshipping and glorifying Him as God, nor have been thankful in appreciation of the benefits they are receiving from Him.
Many therefore became futile in their thoughts thereby making their hearts to be foolishly darkened whilst professing to be wise even though they are fools. (
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools” Romans1:20-22)
Please note, God's invisible attributes are clearly seen and understood by things that are made. As a result, there is no excuse.
Lord, make us to understand your incorruptible nature and eliminate in us the tendencies that aspire to change your glory and plans for us in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen
