Testimony Time Teasers Today:- Turning Point with David Jeremiah Back to Your Future—Back to the Drawing Board (in the spirit of Christmas and the year 2022) Then the LORD said to him: “Go, return on your way.” 1 Kings 19:15 The Bible is full of people who broke down in the Lord’s work. Jonah melted down in chapter 4 of his book. Jeremiah wandered around Jerusalem in near despair. John the Baptist questioned the Messiah. The apostle Paul went to Troas where a great door opened, but he was too anxious to launch a work there. And Elijah is a model for all of us who need to go back to the drawing board to rest and reprioritize our lives. Recommended Reading: 1 Kings 19:11-18 Elijah’s story is a model for us. In 1 Kings 19, the great prophet collapsed in exhaustion and fear. He fled to the desert and went all the way to Mount Sinai. He rested, slept, prayed, ate, and complained to the Lord about his traumas. God listened, patiently restored him, and sent him back on his way along the way he had come. The Lord re-commissioned his prophet with fresh assignments. Sometimes we need a break. We have to go back to the drawing board, reset ourselves physically, and reestablish our priorities. God has more work for us, so we mustn’t quit too soon. If you feel you’re near a collapse, don’t despair. The same God who helped Jonah, Jeremiah, John, Paul, and Elijah can help you too. All Elijah needed to get renewed for service was a fresh vision of the power and glory of God. Warren W. Wiersbe Read-Thru-the-Bible: Joel 1 – Amos 4 In this withering year, and as we look up to the year 2022, I pray for the mercy of the Lord to envelop and govern our paths to righteousness in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Testimony Time Tunes In the run up to Christmas:- Because "I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me."-Psalm 3:5 Refrain: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. Your mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning, new every morning: great is your faithfulness, O Lord, great is your faithfulness! 1. You, Lord, are my portion, says my soul; therefore I will hope in you. (Refrain) 2. You, Lord, are good to those who wait for you, to the soul that seeks you; it is good that we should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. (Refrain) 3. The Lord will not cast off forever, but will have compassion; for God does not willingly afflict or grieve the righteous ones. (Refrain) 4. So let us examine all our ways, and return to the Lord; let us lift up our hearts and hands to God in heaven. Testimony Time:-We all have inbuilt stigma of self righteousness oozing out of our minds either consciously or unconsciously. To a large extent, the degree of self righteousness in us tends to becloud our minds in a way that incapacitates the need to work on the challenges we are likely to face with imperfections. The Bible records in Ecclesiastes 7:20 that "there is not a righteous person on earth who always does good and never sins" and in Romans 3:23 - For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard." Why must men concentrate on other people's imperfection when their thoughts, ways and utterances are already defiled? "You, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? Romans 2:21-23 "How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." Luke 6:24 Let us therefore concentrate on fulfilling the law so we can improve the relationship with our Maker. That way we will see less fault in each other and appreciate the statement-"there is not a righteous person on earth who always does good and never sins". And so I pray to God to help us. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Testimony Time Teasers Today:- A message worth sharing. Copied "Title and Grace. Saul has the title but David carried the grace, title ask for respects grace commands respect. Title look for purpose, grace fulfill purpose, title can be bought, grace is not for sale." The children of the prophets are waiting for title and Elisha got the Grace. Title is a servant to grace. Title kills, grace save. Title carriers can be vision less, grace carriers pursue vision. Pharaoh carry's title Joseph carry's grace." All title carriers are noise maker and could also be dream killer. Grace help to build and promote vision and also add value. Are you a title seeker?" God, please help us. Testimony Time Teasers Today:- Excellent message. Copied 1 ~ First Important Lesson ~ Cleaning Lady During my second month of college, our professor Gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the Cleaning woman several times. She was tall, Dark-haired and in her 50's, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade. "Absolutely, " said the professor.. "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant.. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do Is smile and say "hello.." I've never forgotten that lesson.. I also learned her Name was Dorothy. 2. - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American Woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rain storm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960's. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxicab. She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a Giant console colour TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached. It read: "Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying Husband's' bedside just before he passed away... God Bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others." Sincerely, Mrs. Nat King Cole. 3 - Third Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve. In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him. "How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked. "Fifty cents," replied the waitress. The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it. "Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired. By now more people were waiting for a table and the Waitress was growing impatient.. "Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied. The little boy again counted his coins. "I'll have the plain ice cream," he said. The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left... When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies.. You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip. 4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The obstacle in Our Path. In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a Roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the King's' wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it.. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understand! Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition. 5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts... Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes I'll do it if it will save her." As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the colour returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away". Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her. Now you have choices. 1 Delete this email, or 2. Forward it other people. I hope that you will choose No. 2 and remember. Most importantly.... ”Live with no regrets, Treat people the way you want to be treated, Work like you don’t need the money, Love like you’ve never been hurt, and Dance like you do when nobody’s watching.”; NOW more than ever - Please... Pass It On... You never know how or when you'll be paid! Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Testimony Time Teasers Today:- As shared by Pastor Toyin Dele Ojeleye: *GREAT LESSON INDEED*! Copied as posted Lesson from *Cristiano Ronaldo* - "I have to thank my friend *Albert Fantrau* for my success. We played together for a youth club. When people from Sporting arrived, they told us that whoever scored more goals would be accepted to their Academy". "We won that game 3-0, I scored the first goal, then Albert scored a header, and the third was a goal that impressed everyone. Albert went on one on one with the goal keeper. I was running next to him, he went round the keeper, all he needed to do was just to get the ball into the empty net. But, he passed it to me and I scored. I was accepted to the Academy. After the match, I approached him and asked him *“why”* and he answered; *“You’re better than me”*. Several years after, journalist went to Albert’s house, and asked whether the story was true. He confirmed it. He also said that his career as a football player finished after that match and he is now unemployed. “But where did you get such a gorgeous house, a car etc? You seemed to be a rich person. You also maintain your family…… where is all that from? Albert proudly replied; its all from Cristiano. *MORAL LESSON*: never forget the person who believed in you and gave a helping hand in life. Let us support each other to achieve and we would one day feel proud of lending a helping hand. Let Your love be infused into our hearts oh Lord and strengthen us to exhibit the same love to our neighbours. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Testimony Time Teasers Today:- COPIED A TRUE PRINCIPLE. A wise old man was sitting at the river bank when he saw a cat that had fallen into the water, flailing around, trying to save itself from drowning. The man decided to save the cat. He stretched his hand out but was scratched by the cat. He pulled his hand back in pain. However, a minute later he stretched his hand out again to save the cat, but it scratched him again, and again he pulled his hand back in pain. Another minute later he was again trying for the third time!! A man, who was nearby watching what was happening, yelled out: "O wise man, you have not learned your lesson the first time, nor the second time, and now you are trying to save the cat a third time?" The wise man paid no heed to that man's scolding, and kept on trying until he managed to save the cat. He then walked over to the man, and patted his shoulder saying: "My son.. it is in the cat's nature to scratch, and it is in my nature to love and have sympathy. Why do you want me to let the cat's nature overcome mine? My son, treat people according to your nature, not according to theirs, no matter what they are like and no matter how numerous are their actions that harm you and cause you pain sometimes. And do not pay heed to all the voices that loudly call out to you to leave behind your good qualities merely because the other party is not deserving of your noble actions. So never regret the moments you gave happiness to someone, even if that person did not deserve it. Jesus͵ for example, treated us according to his nature thats why there is an Easter..........be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Testimony Time Teasers Today:-Copied from another group; please read to the end. I am sure you will pick one lesson or two. She said, “Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I’m eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?” I laughed and enthusiastically responded, “Of course you may!” and she gave me a giant squeeze. “Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?” I asked. She jokingly replied, “I’m here to meet a rich husband, get married, and have a couple of kids…” “No seriously,” I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age. “I always dreamed of having a college education and now I’m getting one!” she told me. After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milkshake.We became instant friends. Every day for the next three months, we would leave class together and talk non-stop. I was always mesmerized listening to this “time machine” as she shared her wisdom and experience with me. Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she revelled in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students. She was living it up. At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet. I’ll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her prepared speech, she dropped her three by five cards on the floor. Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said, “I’m sorry I’m so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! I’ll never get my speech back in order so let me just tell you what I know.” As we laughed she cleared her throat and began, “We do not stop playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing. There are only four secrets to staying young, being happy, and achieving success. You have to laugh and find humor every day. You’ve got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die. We have so many people walking around who are dead and don’t even know it! There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up. If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don’t do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old. If I am eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do anything I will turn eighty-eight. Anybody can grow older. That doesn’t take any talent or ability. The idea is to grow up by always finding opportunity in change. Have no regrets. The elderly usually don’t have regrets for what they did, but rather for things they did not do. The only people who fear death are those with regrets.” She concluded her speech by courageously singing “The Rose.” She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in our daily lives. At the year’s end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years ago. One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep. Over two thousand college students attended her funeral in tribute to the wonderful woman who taught by example that it’s never too late to be all you can possibly be . When you finish reading this, please send this peaceful word of advice to your friends and family, they’ll really enjoy it! REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY. GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL. We make a Living by what we get, We make a Life by what we give Have a great life ahead...Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Testimony Time Teasers Today:-As shared by Brother Gboyega Adekanmbi (Pastor)*BATHSHEBA'S HARMLESS BATH* We usually pray, *Our Father who art in Heaven.....* *Hallowed be thy name....* . *"Lead us not into temptation "....* 'Bathsheba's Harmless Bath, I think we should pray to God not to lead others into temptation also. If temptation is not good for us, we should not lead others into it . Some persons blamed Bathsheba, some blamed David, why didn't he go to war? But come to think of it, What about Uriah? Yes Uriah, why would he bring his wife to an apartment whose bathroom has no roof? Some Uriahs are parents, when I see some ladies dressing I wonder whose children they are, perhaps their parents didn't see them before they left home. Some Siblings and some friends, they are the ones who talk you into buying those clothes that leave your body unclad and vulnerable. Some Facebook followers and friends bombarded your pictures with hundreds of likes and comments...... ' Sexy, Slayer..... and all that. You kept smiling at your phone and blushing as you read their comments.... Hmmmm. They are not helping you, they cannot take you home to their parents for blessing! If you fall into the category of Uriah. Watch it! Be responsible, Put a roof on your bathroom! So your Bathsheba can have a harmless bath. Parents..... Don't allow the World teach your children how to dress up....don't leave your bathroom uncovered! ' It is Trendy in America, France and wherever ' *You are not called to be an American Fashionistar* *You are a child of God (promise) You belong to the Lion Tribe! Husbands! Please put your wives under check. We know she is your wife, she can wear anything because you like it that way..... But don't raise eye brow if she was treated like a prostitute..... Under Uriah's nose, Bathsheba got pregnant with another man's child. Keep a roof over your bathroom. You have no idea if there is a man who is not at war or work strolling lazily around. Just because a woman's sensitive parts was revealed to David, he destroyed his home! *One would have thought Bathsheba's bath was a harmless one but look at the consequence* :- ==>>> David killed Uriah. ==>>> He was cursed. ==>>> Bathsheba lost her baby. ==>>> Amnon slept with Tamar his sister. ==>>> Absalom killed Amnon, overthrew David and slept with his father's wives. ==>>> War in David's house! Please, stop tempting others in the name of fashion! Stop showing us your breast and cleavages! You don't have to wear a crop top for us to know you are slayer..... If it is no big deal,wear clothes like that of a princess not a pauper. You cant afford it? then *Stop wearing expensive rags in the name of fashion/* Please! Some persons are running away from Bathsheba yet they have her pictures, wearing bikini on their phones " Brothers, What do you have on your phones? Pictures of naked celebrities? Phonographic Movies? On your Facebook page? Watch it! You cannot wear a long dress to beach, HABA, must you go to beach? Some persons are dealing with masturbation, they are trying to come out of it, some are walking away from fornication, don't drag them back there! *BeWarned!* Dear sister Be your brother's Keeper. Dear brother, cover the bathroom roof! *Resist the devil and he will flee!!! So shall it be in Jesus name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Testimony Time Teasers Today:-Copied Two fish were swimming when they saw a piece of meat dangling before them. The younger fish darted toward it with an open mouth. The older fish cried out. “Stop ! You can’t see it, but there is a hook inside that meat. It is connected by an invisible line to a pole outside the water. There is a man holding the pole. If you eat the meat, the hook will catch in your jaw and the man will pull you out of the water. He will cut you open with a knife, roast you on a fire and eat you. Then he will throw your remains to his cat .” The young fish stopped. The two of them swam away. But when the young fish was alone, he thought to himself, “Let me investigate for myself how accurate these claims are.” He went back to the meat, swam around it, above and below it. He swam as far as he could in widening circles around the meat. After a long search, he said to himself, "I’ve looked far and wide, and I haven’t found any sign of a man, a pole, a knife, a fire or a cat. In fact, I’ve found no trace of anything outside this water we live in. These must just be stories.” He went back to the meat and ate it. The hook caught in his jaw, he felt himself being yanked out of the water. He saw a pole, a man and a knife, but at that point his knowledge was useless. *MORAL:* So is the message of the Holy Bible. Some of it is beyond our comprehension. We will realize its reality only when death strikes. *MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT HELP US HEED TO THE TRUTH WHILE IT IS USEFUL TO US IN JESUS NAME. AMEN ! "But when he, the Spirit of truth,comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come."-John 16:13* Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... Do you trust God enough and how well do you serve, honour and worship Him? How do you relate with others? Do you feign forgiveness and practice hatred? Besides; do you inherit other people's enemies for no just cause?   What value do you place on prayers, worship and serving in the house of God? Know that our life in this world should is a temporary gift from God and time. And in all of this; time itself is time, and God is the only Super Being that lives outside time; give your life unto Him, so He can become your refuge before it is too late. In Psalm 46:1-11, David proclaims the Supremacy of our Jehovah God and says: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we shall not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. There is a river; the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.   Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk   Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land. And I will harden Pharaoh's heart and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them. And Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them, so did they." Exodus 7: 1-6 Despite the worldly trouble faced by Moses from Pharaoh, Thou still declared him a god upon Pharaoh. May the power of Your Might keep us above our enemies. Let us continue to worship You In faith, trust, hope and also believe in the plans and the thoughts that You have for us as in Jeremiah 29:11 It states- "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." On this new day Father that You have prepared for us, "there be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us". Psalm 4:6 "Thou hast put gladness in our hearts, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. We will all lie down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest us dwell in safety" Psalm 4:7-8 Therefore, let those who stand against us be in awe to the testimonies of our mouths. Teach us Your ways so we will sin no more. Make Your daily grace commune with our hearts even before we rise from our beds in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence...  John 4:24 declares-"God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." But do you know the purpose of your creation, your expected end and when such will come on board? Without any doubt, there is a massive gain for those who genuinely believe in Christ; but do we all agree?  Hear this... By His Grace, you woke up today and His Grace can nurture you spiritually, His Grace can speak for you today. His Grace can walk with and also work for you today. His Grace can defend and fight for you today. His Grace can produce an uncommon miracle for you today. His Grace can make you be favoured today. His Grace can be all in all for you today. And His Grace can lift you today. His Grace can transform you today. His Grace can heal you today. His Grace can satisfy all your needs if you rest on His Word and without participating in any notion that operates under a Godless culture. It means without being purposeful in your worship and your relationship with God; you are nothing, and nothing can stand for you as gain in the Presence of our Lord Almighty.  May God teach us to value His grace, and with His love allow the Abrahamic covenant to come upon us now and always in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence…

Testimony Time Teasers Today:- What is life? Life very simply is the relationship between you and your neighbours and that can translate into many versions. At home- the Godly relationship between husbands and wives including their children. In the Society/Church/work place. the fear of God in you forming the basis of your daily dispensation of your duties as you relate with every individual- maintaining Godly relationship. Is like a toy held unto vehemently by a child that no one can take away from him or her. Not even his or her parents and the person who bought the item. What happens when the child sleeps? He or she loses the grip and the toy becomes anyone’s property. What is life? We can infer life to be like a beautiful flower that opens it’s bud in the morning for all to see but by evening time when the sun goes to sleep; it wilt and drop from it’s original position. And so it died. What is life? Life is like a sun that springs up and burns first slowly early in morning. Save for the incidence of any rain drop, it galvanises it strength to burn very brightly as the day progresses. But coming to the end of the day; the sun itself takes a bow for the glory of the moon to also shine. In all of these, I have come to realise that whatever has a beginning must surely have an end. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:” Death puts us in a position no one can envy because Envy breeds contempt and Allows the tendency to Pull him or her down If care is not taken, it can lead to murder. But no one can contest death. No one can emulate No one can suppress No one can hijack No one has the power to change. No one can demote, ostracise, humiliate, kill, lie against and or fight with death for when it is time, it is time and would ultimately put us at peace; for once!!! Therefore, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;” Ephesians 5:19 When I joined my church; the church play a prominent role in changing the world; by so doing we had true converts joining the fold. Eg the Alhajis, the Alhajas and Pastors including men of this world like Babalawos, herbalists and the likes of them. Life’s not measured by the amount of breadth we take but the amount of moments that takes our breadth away. So Peter was kept in prison, but *the church was earnestly (with sincere and intense conviction; seriously praying to God for him.* Acts 12: To understand LIFE, You have to think about three locations. (1) HOSPITAL (2) PRISON (3) CEMETERY ***********AT THE HOSPITAL ************** You will understand that nothing is more beautiful than HEALTH for HEALTH is WEALTH) ****************IN PRISON***************** You will know that freedom is the most PRECIOUS thing in LIFE. ************AT THE CEMETERY ************ You will realize that LIFE is worth nothing. The ground we walk on today will be our roof tomorrow. LET US THEREFORE REMAIN HUMBLE AND HAVE THE FEAR OF GOD AND RESPECT EVERYONE IN OUR SOCIETY. Life will never provide WARRANTIES and GUARANTEES. It can only provide POSSIBLITIE5 and OPPORTUNITIES. It is upon us to convert them into SUCCESS. May God continue to guide us with His grace and mercy in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into Gods Presence... Seeking and cultivating the Presence of God. 1 God moves in a mysterious way
his wonders to perform;
he plants his footsteps in the sea,
and rides upon the storm. 2 Deep in unfathomable mines of never-failing skill he treasures up his bright designs,
and works his sov'reign will. 3 Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take;
the clouds ye so much dread are big with mercy, and shall break
in blessings on your head. 4 Judge not the Lord by feeble sense, but trust him for his grace;
behind a frowning providence he hides a smiling face. 5 His purposes will ripen fast, unfolding ev'ry hour; the bud may have a bitter taste,but sweet will be the flow'r. 6 Blind unbelief is sure to err, and scan his work in vain; God is his own interpreter, and he will make it plain.              -William Cowper In seeking and cultivating the Presence of God; the above lyrics come to mind. It suggests that God moves in a mysterious ways and His works are unsearchable. Those who must seek Him must first believe in the awesomeness of His great works and should be ready to follow Him irrespective, even where the evidence is showing God to be remaining silent over some affairs; often the perceived silence in God’s nature does not mean He is not always acting on our behalf. It is not uncommon to read meaning into the constant thought on the struggles we go through in the way we approach our daily life. Usually, it revolves round the notion on whether to be or not to be a very good Christian; however in real term, this attributes can also stand for seeking to cultivate God’s presence in our daily pursuit in Christ Kingdom. Without much ado, the simple answer to the two questions can be found usually with the individual steps taken in our quest to answer the demands necessitated by the events in our daily life: and without any doubt, it is such steps that will clearly define our role as genuine child of God or not. In part, the essence of faith becomes very paramount in seeking to cultivate the presence of God. Christ Himself succinctly puts the idea very well in Matthew 17:20 and it says: “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. As well; it is wonderful to note what Jesus said with regards to having faith as small as a mustard seed; according to Him this is enough to move a mountain if we consistently trust and believe in Him. Pretty much this shows that for us to begin to experience the mystery of God in our day to day living does not really require much from those who have decided to put their trust in Him and His Holy Name. All we need do is trust Him and believe that what He said He will do He will do with our faith as little as a mustard seed! Consequently, it is only if we can trust, believe and obey His dictates that we can begin to experience His mystery in a larger form: and this includes the ability to do all these with patience, perseverance and the fear of God. The same message was buttressed by Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 11:1-3. It states: “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;  And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:” Hence and Irrespective of what position we may find ourselves, God can still change our situation if something is found to be lacking in our journeys of faith. Are you therefore in a wilderness of “not to be” or indeed a court room of not to be a good Christian? Let me assure you that help is always at hand whenever you decide to follow Jesus Christ. In Psalm 77: 1-15, David gave us a clear insight into the sort of relationship those are seeking and trying to cultivate the Presence of God should maintain. It says- “I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.   In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted. I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah. Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak. I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.  I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.  Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more? Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore? Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah. And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings. Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so gr However, it is when a man does not have a divine clue to their problems that they lose hope and begin to complain; that is when God’s name, works and the awesomeness in His Holy Name usually comes under the attack. Whatever “you have against you” now and indeed what any man may have written about you does not in any way describe what God says will happen to you. In a situation where you think that help is no longer available; this is irrespective of the essence of the spirituality that governs you; the common perception is to feel that the Lord had done us evil and the tendency is to forget about all His promises. At that time, it may be very difficult to believe that with God there can still be a lifting up at any time. In that God can use anyone at any time as an example to promote His course for His avalanche of grace to come to manifestation. And there is a glory set aside for anyone who believe in Him, that alone can emanate from any establishment according to  Proverbs 21:1 which states: “The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” Are you fighting a lost course? Do you think it is all over? Or have you been suppressed in any version that may have dented your faith in the power of His Holy name? Let me assure you that there would be antagonism from many quarters but can still change your story. The question is: are you sure God can still do it? You must always remember that the story of your life cannot just end until Christ says it has ended. What you think it’s impossible will definitely come to pass if you consistently trust God, fear Him and obey His commandments. What type of wilderness are you going through at the moment? Instead of seeking to cultivate the Lord’s presence into your life; would you rather ensure you galvanise your position by moving into the complaining camps. In Philippians 2: 9-16, a clear insight was given by Apostle Paul on how to seek and cultivate the Presence of God. “ Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputing’s:  That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. In closing, let me remind you about the biblical narrative of Hannah in the Book of 1 Samuel 1:2-2:21. It is worthy to mention that outside of the first two chapters of 1 Samuel, Hannah’s name was never mentioned in the Bible. However, we later found out that she was one of the two wives of Elkanah, the other being Peninnah who had given birth to Elkanah's children. The Bible recorded that Hannah remained childless because the Lord chose to close her womb in 1 Samuel 1:6. As a result, she was provoked, despised and humiliated about her condition by Peninnah. Naturally and like any of us, she felt despaired, dejected and disillusioned about her experience and the treatment she received first from Peninnah, Elkanah and even Eli the Priest. But instead of complaining, retaliating and or lose sight of God, Hannah remained focussed and committed, rather she took her anguish to God. She continued to seek the face of God like never before and she visited Shiloh yearly until the Lord answered her prayers. The Bible also recorded in 1 Samuel 1:11 that Hannah also introduced a vow in her prayer. Hannah vowed a vow and she called on God on the strength of her vow to look upon her with mercy and compassion on her afflictions. She promised that if God will indeed remember her on the strength of her vow, she will give back to God the long awaited son when he comes. God was simply moved and impressed with her because she chose to cultivate His attention through prayers, faith, fear of Him, perseverance and a vow. Consequently, her womb was reopened but with multiple returns because Hannah was only looking for one child from God but: “the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the Lord.” 1 Samuel 2:21. This is a clear example that  we must always learn to cultivate the Lord’s presence in our lives with patience, faith,  trust and perseverance irrespective of any condition that may come our way. Grant us oh Lord the will to work with your plans in Jesus Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalm 19:7-14 Do you know how potent God’s Grace is and how defiled our presence can be a times to share in this Grace? Holy! Holy! Holy! Is the Lord, those who must worship Him must do so in holiness. Today is another day in Your presence Father; let us be able to share in Your Grace. Amen Wishing you all a happy new month of December. Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just checking into His Presence...

GIVING Giving in the house of God and to anyone in need of help should not be regarded as a taboo, considered strange and or seen as something out of place by our human nature. If we worship in a Bible believing church; it is necessary to know the enriching principles set by God to guide us in the way live and conduct ourselves at home (privately) and in the church (spiritually) in relation to giving. David gave a clear insight in Psalm 41:1-3 and declares: “Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.” The above verses can be linked to what Cornelius did in his daily living in Acts 10:1-3 to make an angel of God appeared to him. The Bible recorded that “There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with his entire household, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” In any house of God therefore, it is not out of place for God to expect us to give from our first fruits with joyful experience and tailor our gifts (giving) in His Presence after the abundance of His grace upon us and Proverbs 3:9-10 endears our thoughts towards this concept with the following sentence: “Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” Giving therefore plays an important role in the life of any child of God and should not be scornfully looked at. For Apostle Paul says: “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:” 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 Without mincing words, It is God’s ordained directive that His children must give and not only to the less privileged but also to His Household so that He too can adequately bless them in return. Under this mandate, l must be able to direct you all to do something that will make our worship more meaningful in His Presence. You must be able to trust in these principles for you to be able to unlock your heavenly riches. “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” Psalm 34:8 I therefore pray to God to teach us His ways so we can always trust Him and be obedient to His principles “for the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.” Amen (Psalm 84:11-12) Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...
