Checking into God’s Presence... “And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:27-32 I congratulate you all for the Grace of Christ in us which conform us to the image of His Sonship so we can be firstborns among many brethren. Within the time we have left to bear His image, how much of it have you successfully put on? Have you become like an ocean that will not receive the droplets of the rain water? Or are you filled with pride to such an extent that you consider yourself to be beyond teaching? What pain can you bear for Christ in humility? How much of His love can you show for things to work together for good to those who claimed to love God like you do? Christ bore the guilt of our sins. He chose to die even though He was blameless so that we can live according to His purpose, and by doing continue to have access to His Grace. Are you living a life that makes His efforts to be in vain? Remember, the examples were set for us so that we can continue to do likewise. We may think it is for the sake of Christ alone, but we are yet to realize it has so much to do with our own gains too. For “if God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with Him also freely give us all things? Lord we pray for our lives to be transformed so that our wills and desires will not run contrary to the image of firstborns among many brethren in Your Kingdom. Amen Just checking into His Presence...
