Checking into God’s Presence... “Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness [1] thereof. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.” Psalm 96:8-13 The time may have been moved up or down by human knowledge but it has no bearing on the original time given unto us by God. Out of all the time we have enjoyed through the popular claim "I am a born again" we should be worshiping Him stylishly. In the depth of your knowledge, what you have seen, heard, known and believed about Him? Are you that close to His dictates? Today is another time to make amends in His Presence. Lord we pray that upon what we have learnt about You, we will exhibit such standards in order to worship You. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... Please tread carefully, knowing that your strides are already overwhelmed with the battle of styles between what is of God and that of Satan. Who are you going to play for this week? You may pretend not to know but it is the battle of styles that holds the fulcrum of every life. Are you going to allow your style which encompasses your thoughts, deeds, beliefs, faith and worship to fade and then be encamped with the styles noted mainly for Satan? You have your life in your hands, therefore the onus is on you to appraise your style and ensure it matches the Lord's. Lord as we choose to follow you today, let our styles be fit for the purpose of our creation so that your glory will shine upon us according to your covenant. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... Do you know that love is stronger than death and the grave? Equally love is much stronger than any sin? Such was the love Christ has for us to have laid His life down for humanity. By so doing, Christ ensures He will continue to live forever in our hearts based upon the love we have for each other. (Song of Solomon 8:6) "Put me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, jealousy is as severe as Sheol; its flashes are flashes of fire. God we beseech You to give us the grace to understand and experience the power behind your love through which You will continue live in our hearts in Jesus name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “And the Lord sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed. Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the Lord, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the Lord? And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and have gone the way which the Lord sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God in Gilgal. And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” 1 Samuel 15:18-23 Today being a new day, I want to ask each of us just how friendly we are to God. If indeed we have made God our friend, just how close is our relationship with Him? You have to understand that you can only walk with God if there is unity between you and His purpose for you. How do you measure in the light of this challenge? The choice is yours, walk with Him and share in His inheritance whilst on earth or do otherwise and begin to lead a life filled with unmerited pressures. "To obey is always better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of Rams" Saul dithered in obeying the commandments of God and Samuel said unto him: “wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the Lord, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the Lord? Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” May we be blessed today to obey the precepts of the Lord so we can inherit the covenant He made unto Abraham in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.” Psalm 107:4-9 The ministry of Christ requires people to assist in edifying His name through preaching, counselling, prophesy and charitable deeds. The question is if we are you part of those that ministers in Christ’s Kingdom or one that causes trouble in the House of God? Life in itself is described as troublesome in Job 14:14. Do you still instill trouble in your spiritual DNA whilst your soul is hungry and thirsty for the fullness of Christ? “For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.” In the Book of Genesis however, God set out from the onset and described the differences between the good and the bad. He also stated the profits that attached to them. By the same token, I will advise you to be a divine minister for Christ; be a problem solver and not part of the problem. Lord God of mercy, make us your own and allow us to work for the redemption of our souls in Jesus Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:24 Welcome to another sunrise which the Lord has kindly delivered to everyone that is kept alive through His Grace today. However, do you believe God has reasons for keeping His Covenant through the rise and fall of the sun? Let me therefore assure you that the most important of them all is to offer each of us the opportunity to rise and shine where we may have fallen before Him the day before. The ardent failure on our part is our inability to desist from offering sacrifice of unrighteousness on a daily basis. We continuously sin and often sin more in order to cover up earlier mistakes. Now that there is another sunrise, would you continue in the same manner? Are you ready to begin anew and start to offer offerings of love, humbleness, worship, penitence, praise, and prayers which are holy and acceptable to God? Time indeed is of the essence but just how many of His sunrises do you think you will be able to count? Remember, if the Lord must fight for you, you must first learn to hold your peace and always follow His dictates. You must also trust in His ability to fight for and deliver you. May the power of God give us the strength to present before His Grace offerings that are righteous and acceptable so He can always fight for us in Jesus Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?” Isaiah 29:16 Welcome to the third month in the year 2020. Would you believe we are already in March within the year that was classified new two months ago? If you are opportune to witness this new day, then you are already part of the glory of God. However, for being alive, God is giving us another open invitation to share in the success story of creating man in His likelihood so they can serve, honour and worship Him righteously. “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? Romans 9:16-22 As we welcome the new month; in reality how much of His character do you display? How much praise is on your lips? We often walk around like gods; flaunting the successes we have achieved in this world, instead of giving the glory back to God. Beware and know that it is the beginning of all limitations when our experience in life is out of the Lord’s plan. Can a piece of clay know more than the potter? Begin to glorify Him today, show you are nothing before His Supremacy and you will see everything turning around in your favour. Do have a delightful day as you begin to march into your glory through Christ that strengthens us in Jesus Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.” Psalm 40:1-5 The day is new and the Lord has already started a new thing upon our lives. He searched our hearts and decided to put a new song in our mouths. All to His glory and within the confines of His Presence; but surely those who wait on the Lord will always reach their destination. “Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.” Lord we ask of Thee to preserve your new joy in us and overwhelm us with the value of Your greatness in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... For as long as the night will roll into a new dawn, there will always be a new day to celebrate to those who the Lord decides to keep. There is something unique about the Lord we serve; He is always full of surprises to those who wait patiently for His promises. Are you in a rush? Do you question His abilities? Are you considered as someone with no hope? Please note, with God there are no limitations. Often He comes in different guises to confuse your enemies. Your stories will change just like Joseph in Genesis 37. Today l pray that all limitations in our journeys will cease from and we will begin to experience His fullness according to His riches in heaven in Jesus Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

2nd March 2020

Checking into God’s Presence... A message shared with me describes life as a gift: today before you say an unkind word - “Think of someone who can't speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion. Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who died too young. Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children but they're barren. Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or sweep-Think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet. And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job. But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember that not one of us is without sin and we all answer to one MAKER. And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and thank GOD you're alive and still around. And before you think of signing out, know that life is a complete cycle which began in heaven and must surely end in heaven.” Lord we pray for the spirit of gratitude and perseverance. Let us know that when things are not great, we must not be overwhelmed with thoughts of abandoning Your Presence. Help us to believe that You can still raise us up from the dust as you did with Joseph who went from a pit, to a prison, and then a palace in Jesus Name. Amen Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... Today's Testimony Time relates to lyrics from James E Orr. Please digest by reading or singing along as you invite the Lord into your presence today: Search me, O God, and know my heart today, Try me, O Saviour, know my thoughts, I pray; See if there be some wicked way in me; Cleanse me from every sin, and set me free. I praise Thee, Lord, for cleansing me from sin; Fulfil Thy word and make me pure within; Fill me with fire, where once I burned with shame; Grant my desire to magnify Thy name. Lord, take my life, and make it wholly Thine; Fill my poor heart with Thy great love divine; Take all my will, my passion, self and pride; I now surrender, Lord, in me abide. O Holy Ghost, revival comes from Thee; Send a revival, start the work in me; Thy Word declares Thou wilt supply our need; For blessings now, O Lord, I humbly plead. Amen May the power associated with the creation of heaven and earth search each of our needs and redeem us from their tendencies in Jesus name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:27-32 I congratulate you all for the Grace of Christ in us which conform us to the image of His Sonship so we can be firstborns among many brethren. Within the time we have left to bear His image, how much of it have you successfully put on? Have you become like an ocean that will not receive the droplets of the rain water? Or are you filled with pride to such an extent that you consider yourself to be beyond teaching? What pain can you bear for Christ in humility? How much of His love can you show for things to work together for good to those who claimed to love God like you do? Christ bore the guilt of our sins. He chose to die even though He was blameless so that we can live according to His purpose, and by doing continue to have access to His Grace. Are you living a life that makes His efforts to be in vain? Remember, the examples were set for us so that we can continue to do likewise. We may think it is for the sake of Christ alone, but we are yet to realize it has so much to do with our own gains too. For “if God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with Him also freely give us all things? Lord we pray for our lives to be transformed so that our wills and desires will not run contrary to the image of firstborns among many brethren in Your Kingdom. Amen Just checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;” Hebrews 2:1-3 Apostle Paul encourages us to re-embrace the desire to seek salvation for Christ paid the ransom for our souls and this transferred the ownership of our bodies into His care through His unfailing qualities of love. This is an act that reduces us to mere custodians of our bodies. If you are consistently truthful, obedient, prayerful and steadfast in your worship to Him, no matter how broken you consider yourself to be He is ready to rearrange the pieces and make you whole again. Lord we beseech you to make us whole again where the troubles of the world have eaten us deep. Use that precious blood of Yours to redeem and relocate us with Your peace in Jesus Name. Amen Just checking into His Presence...
