Checking into God's Presence... Through the special grace of God, we are suitable to have another monumental meeting with God today. As restless as the day can choose to be, it is a new welcome from God so we can claim from the newness of His Mercy. However, it is not so much about how we began the day, but how well we end up spending our time before His Presence daily.  Paul, the Apostle in 1 Corinthians 3:8-14, states:   The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their labour. For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care, for no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw, their work will come to light for what it is because the day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person's work.  If what was built survives, the builder will receive a reward. Therefore, there is a pure understanding in the Christian world that the only way to serve God is to follow His Rules and Commandments. But are you a child of God who has lost their head in the haze of religiosity and refused to follow Godly principles? It is not unthinkable to find these people hoping that the same leads will still be functioning right, albeit spiritually. Whereas: "The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The Lord's statutes are trustworthy, making wise the simple, and His precepts are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.  The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned; in keeping them, there is great reward" Psalm 19:7-11. The rules of God are very distinct and relatively simple, categorically stating we should love God and our neighbours. Period! Why do we have many within the knowledge of God still cutting corners with the Name of God and using means which are separate from His Name? Without mincing words, all acts will be tested by fire, irrespective of any desire: and "their work must show for what it is because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person's work". 1 Corinthians 3:13  This new month, let us deploy whatever means necessary for serving the Lord so we do not labour in vain in His Presence. Through God's grace, we are what we are and who we are and where we are by the everlasting grace of God and His mercy. I pray, therefore, that the Lord will be moved with the power of His righteousness to settle and sort our issues miraculously, even as we go through the hour of hopelessness in Jesus' Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence...  Learning about the kindness of God requires reading, watching, writing, teaching and listening to the Words of God. Through faith, genuine children of God should believe in them and receive the instructions with obedience, irrespective of the method deployed. Otherwise, any efforts will ultimately produce no results. At all fronts, strong faith must go with the expectation of the manifestation of the miraculous power, signs, wonders, and the gifts of the Spirit as promised by God. “Let us, therefore, fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it". Hebrews 4:1-2 Believers can only be saved through messages of salvation if they do not allow their hearts to be hardened with evil desires. Any act that violates these tendencies will see to the overflow of the miracles of God in their lives significantly abated. Do you mix your Christian Faith with any other faith? Are you in the habit of doubting messages of hope which should have given you salvation? How do you feel when you hear about the statements of truth? Do you renounce them and or postpone the date you will begin to act on them? Have you ever made any effort to leave your sinful ways? Who dictates your pace in Christ for you, Satan, or the Precepts of God? All we need do is believe in His Supremacy, and you can be sure to enter into His Rest. Christ needs you. His Promises to us are forever specific. Let us, therefore: "serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we by ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endureth to all generations." Psalm 100:2-5. And so shall it be in Jesus' Name. Checking into God's Presence... "Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know to understand. For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye, not my law.   For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments and live.   Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.   Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths." Proverbs 4:1-11 Can you be described as one of the worried sons of God or a son that is filled with firm faith, belief, and trust in the commandments of our Lord God Almighty? I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths." Let us be able to exalt You, oh Lord and receive promotion. Bring unto us honour, and allow Your mercy to embrace us. “She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. Therefore grant us wisdom which is the principal thing; provide us with insight to get Your understanding. May God make us a person of impact and let the excellence of Your greatness make us strong. Allow us to give a lasting impression on our Christian attributes to those around us, for we are the first epistle that people will read. May He destroy whatever may want to eliminate Your grace in our lives. May the Lion of the tribe of Judah frustrate every counsel of Satan and his demons against us in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God's Presence...  "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the first-begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels, he saith, Who maketh his angel's spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son, he saith, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows." Therefore, let our generation celebrate Your greatness as we decree that Thy will be done in our lives, and may heaven help us to fulfil them. May God accelerates our promotion, take us to the top and make us operate under His divine favour. “And again, when he bringeth in the first-begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. We ask that You will accomplish Your works in us, empower us also, so that through You, we will continue to understand and accept what You only can do. At Your command, Oh God, You will expose and bring to shame those weaknesses in us that can disrupt our peace. Checking into God's Presence... "O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. Ye that fears the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great. The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth. The heavens, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. The dead praise, not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence. But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the Lord." Psalm 115:10-18 By definition, the Church of Jesus Christ must not wait until special occasions like Easter, Christmas Day, New Year Day, Mother's and father's Day, and any periodic harvests before they can give praise, worship, and celebrate the goodness of the Lord. Instead, the Church of God must rediscover the energy to serve God with faith, obedience, belief, trust, and total joy and, in wonder, submission and glory, celebrate the righteousness and Holiness of God by dedicating each day to His Glory.  In the Book of Nehemiah, the people who gathered to celebrate the dedication of the Wall in Jerusalem were not without some teething problems. Still, they summed up courage by putting aside their significant challenges. They gathered to celebrate God in His Newness, expressing great joy and gladness with music and dancing, offering sacrifices and praises until their voices were heard afar off. “On that day, they offered great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. "The sound of rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard far away". Nehemiah 12:43  That was because God remembered them for all their good works, according to  Nehemiah 13:31. It states- "And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the first fruits. Remember me, O my God, for good." With delight, God will often fill His people with joy and the good things of life. But for Him to perform this duty, His people must first cleanse themselves of paganism, be joyful and then remember to dedicate each day they are alive to His Glory.  The people who call themselves after the Name of God must also remember to bring their offerings and their first fruits at the appointed time to the tabernacles of the Lord. Have you given Him the day through your praise and offerings? Do you prefer to cling to your knowledge and understanding? Do you remember that God wants us to rejoice in His presence so He can never forget us? But first, we remember to love God, honour, and fear Him by following His principles. God, in return, will establish us as pillars of greatness: like Abraham, He will also allow buildings of our excellence to be substantial and remain forever. Remember us, oh God and do not allow the waywardness in us to shun away the good things of life you have promised to give us. Failures may be part of life; wherever we have failed, oh Lord, let our failures become stepping stones to our breakthroughs, progress, and successes. Bring down and disgrace with Your power, every satanic crowd, and power gathering to mock and unseat Your glory upon us and do not allow our dreams of greatness to die in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Checking into God's Presence...  "And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. According to their deeds, accordingly, he will repay fury to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands, he will repay compensation. So shall they fear the Name of the Lord from the west and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord. As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and forever." Isaiah 59:16-21 We have to weigh through all options today if we have been driving against the traffic rules of God and come back to God's Purpose so that His Promises can be sustained in our lives. “For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. According to their deeds, he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands, he will repay recompense." As for us, "this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and forever" Therefore, there will be no conclusion until we are favoured, no end until we are apportioned our rightful places to receive our portion. No decision will be arrived at until when one has been taken in our favour. Nothing will end except God has turned it around to work for us. Touch our souls, oh Lord and consecrate them for Your use. May You remember Your covenant upon Abraham today and honour our lives. Fulfil Your promise, oh Lord and visit our situations. Checking into God’s Presence... What are your stories so far? Are you running on an empty tank of faith or your faith is just as little as a mustard seed? For the Presence of God to be meaningful in our lives, we need a strong belief in God irrespective of any situation we may find ourselves in. We have to remember that Joseph went through so many discomforting phases of life, and at every point, he took a step of faith to overcome the trials and temptations of Satan. The Lord then chose to re-position him with His dreams and destiny so that his life can become a testimonial to every Christians today. You are only a good Child of God if you love, trust, and believe in Him no matter what! For “Blessed be the Lord because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore, my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.  Save thy people, and bless Thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them forever.” Psalm 28:6-9 There are various times in a season and only God can take us through them all if we rely on Him. With faith, trust, love, discipline, and contentment, Joseph was able to go through different upheavals unscathed, we should, therefore, try as much as possible to go through all the seasons seeing Joseph as an example of our faith and worship the Lord; despite the all odds. The Lord will meet and lead us through every point of our seasons and endow us with what will make our destiny to be complete. From the north, east, west, and south, everything that completes us will locate us as we begin to recover the peace, joy, love, health, and money that we have lost. May we receive the power of God that will give wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that will lead us into our destinies, and we shall not experience any more struggle in our lives. God will bring us to the place of rest, to heal and comfort us, and just like David, may we pursue, overtake, and recover all that the enemies had taken from us.
