Checking into God's Presence...  When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:   Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth, and my delights were with the sons of men. Now, therefore, hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his soul: all they that hate me love death." Proverbs 8: 28-36 Now, therefore, hearkens unto us O God: for blessed are they that keep Thy ways. We want to hear Your instruction and be wise; empower us not to refuse it because Thou proclaims, "Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord." Instead of demotion O God, let us start to enjoy Your promotions. With the righteousness in Your Name, we plead that You will allow Your grace to remove us from the register of disgrace so our enemies can congratulate us in Jesus Mighty Name. Checking into God’s Presence...  ”God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood, he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. What do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Nahum 1: 2-9 Today I want to ask this same question posed in Nahum 1: 9, which say: “what do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time”. So what do ye imagine against the Lord concerning your fears, doubts, insecurity and all other forms of challenges? Remember, “the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.” Therefore, can you trust God with your doubts? Would you trade your waywardness with the value of God’s grace? What about following God’s injunctions, no matter what? Be aware that no one can stand before the Lord’s anger; no one can abide in the fierceness of His wrath. God’s fury can be like fire, rocks thrown for the mountains quake at him.  His presence melts the hills while the earth can burn. Let the world and all that dwell therein magnify the Name of the Lord.  Empower us, oh Lord, to be able to submit our plans, fears, doubts and everything that surrounds our lives into the care of Your love, just for You to give rest to our souls in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God’s Presence... “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 “But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.   Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:  And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable”. 1 Corinthians 15:13-19. And for this reason, men should not be afraid to die. The same notion was expressed in Isaiah 57:1-2, and this states: “The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.” Therefore, please take courage, for “if we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” Romans 14:8. However, when we live, “render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.” Romans 13:7-8. For “to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21. Father, by Your grace, You kept us alive so we can enjoy another Easter celebration; I declare through the gospel we have received to receive the empowerment to stand upon the promise of the power of resurrection and save us on the last day of judgement. Keep in us a clean heart, oh Lord and let us remember Your statutes. Also, keep in our memories what we have learnt through the preaching and hearing of Your Word. From the grace we received owing to the power of resurrection, do not call us and believe in Your Holy Name in vain. After this Easter celebration: we pray for the covenant surrounding the joy of the resurrection to manifest in our lives and give us surprise packages that will change our status for good. For Heaven sake: do not allow us to labour in vain anymore in Jesus name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking in into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... "And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you. And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they anything to any man; for they were afraid. Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils." Mark 16:1-9 Where can we take the story of Christ death and resurrection during this Easter Monday? It's really up to us now because Christ death and His rise from the position of death is not the end of the story. Either way, each person has to complete the story if we have taken on board the Holy Week's basic lessons and chosen to abide by them all. We cannot tame Jesus requests for our wellbeing in spirituality to suit our canal purposes; instead, we must each spend our lives chasing Christ and following where He leads. Therefore, the Easter period should serve as the eternal story of Christ, and the story continues with the value of each day we are made to be alive by God, and we must spend them partnering with Him as one of His scriptwriters. If Christ tarries, we will be here next year to celebrate Galilee, where the story of Christ life, death and crucifixion will unfold again. But have you applied the lessons learnt from the previous year differently?   If our lives have not been different from what they used to be, then we haven't got Christ story at all. Then we need to go back to the beginning to see what fresh insights God wants to give to us. I pray we shall, by His grace, keep moving with the desire to chase Jesus, trying as much as possible to catch up with Him and His dictates so we can experience His grace in our lives. May we also have a deepened knowledge of Him to make us receive the blessings of resurrection in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... Easter Sunday preaches the extraordinary nature of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Day throughout the world is recognised as a Christian holiday that celebrates the belief in Jesus Christ's resurrection. The event is said to have occurred three days after the Romans crucified Jesus, and He died. The Day, therefore, offers Christ's resurrection, following his crucifixion on what is known as Good Friday. Since then, it has become a time of rejoicing and rebirth, where Christ must rise from the position of death to give hope to humanity. Those who believe in His death and resurrection can form and also have a perfect relationship with God the Father. Apostle John in John chapter 20: 1-10 gave a clear account of the whole event- "The first DayDay of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. Peter, therefore, went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre. And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw and believed. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. Then the disciples went away again unto their own home." John 20:1-10 We are now celebrating another anniversary of Jesus' resurrection and His ascension to heaven. Let us remember that by observing the Holy Week as Christians, we must have learnt a lot about faith, hope, the power of resurrection and the relief the notion brings to humanity. Therefore Christians must always believe that Christ rose from the dead to bring eternal life to His followers. "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so, send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:" John 20:21-22. This Easter, may we receive the Holy Spirit as our portion. I also pray against all attributes sponsoring us into difficult situations before God to be cast out. May the arrow that spreads bitterness, shame, illnesses, death and lack of accomplishment be humiliated for Christ has risen. Happy Easter to you all, and may the history of Christ resurrection today brings, joy, comfort, peace, long life, good health and God’s abundant riches in Jesus Mighty Name.Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence… Beloved in Christ, we cannot deny the fact that Christ had died and He died for the wrong reasons. Two thousand years ago, many would now come to regret they have killed the Saviour to humanity. He died for our sins so we can be reconnected with the grace of God and be dead from sins. But "what shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall also be in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now, if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise, reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God." Romans 6:1-13 I charge you today for time waits for no one to be alive unto God and His instructions through the death of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. We must not allow sin to reign in our mortal bodies anymore for the same reason Christ had already died. Neither should you let your members obey the flesh's lusts that always act as instruments of unrighteousness leading unto sin. Instead, I plead with you to submit yourselves unto God and His commandments "as those that are alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God." I pray for the righteousness of God to redeem us from all patterns leading to sinful paths and make our bodies to be dead to sins so we can be alive in Christ in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

2nd April 2021

Checking into God's Presence… It is another Good Friday, an unforgettable day for all Christians who have chosen the Day to commemorate Jesus Christ's crucifixion. The Day is usually observed during the Holy Week on a Friday proceeding the Easter Sunday. The Bible records it was during this occasion that the son of God was spat at, bruised through flogging and ordered to carry the cross on which he would eventually be crucified and then put to death. So why is it called Good Friday?  In Isaiah 53:1-12, Prophet Isaiah already forewarned about how the love for Christ will grow cold among those He came to deliver. Christ performed miracles among His brethren, disciples, the Pharisees, the Sadducees and the Children of God at the time before His crucifixion. Like healing the sick, feeding the hungry, turning water to wine and preaching and sustaining love in every circumstance. But on that faithful Friday, He was captured, mutilated, humiliated and crucified. The warning goes:" Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:1-5. Therefore, what's so good about Good Friday? Undeniably, it is possible to put forward some underlying lessons about the Day. Apart from the overwhelming theme of Love from Christ to the world, the study shows that: 1. Emotional suffering is part of life; 2. Suffering is not the result of sin. 3. Jesus is fully human; 4. Suffering is not the last word, and 5. Physical suffering is part of life. “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities." Isaiah 53:10-11. I pray for Good Friday's true purpose to come to manifestation upon our lives in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...
