Checking into God's Presence... Genuine Christian Ministries should not be an avenue for game shows or a place for different rehearsals. Attending any of them should not in any way be a means to act as Christians. Instead, a genuine Christian gathering should aim towards showing results gained from the process of true worship and the belief that sets them according to the rightful owner to the inheritance of the kingdom of heaven. What is your Ministry to you, and what is it to the outside world? Do you still wrestle between the emblem of Christ ownership upon your Ministry and the desires of the flesh? Ephesians 5:29 declares that "no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church". Know ye therefore that Christ sacrificed Himself for the sake of the Church; those who come into relationship with Him through any of His Ministries must be ready to serve and worship Him with genuine desires. They must also love and honour Him, knowing they are dealing with the body of Christ when they present themselves before Him in their different Churches. Churches, therefore, are not meant for actors and actresses. They do not represent boxing rings or avenues for fashion displays; neither should activities be seen and classified as to where a beauty contest can occur. It cannot be a den for robbers, drunkards or set up as stages to have plays that deviate from the purpose of Christian worship. A church, therefore, is a place where those who seek God can congregate as Christians to seek redemption for their sins and ultimately gain salvation for their souls. Oh Lord our God, we have promised to worship You until the end, keep our souls and make them Yours in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... Is it true that humanity depends on God's existence to live? Is it odd to assume the Spirit of God is the source of life and man would not have been able to come into existence without God's Spirit? Job 33:4. In this New Year, how dependent are you on the Spirit of God? Apart from the spirit of self-justification, does your understanding of God's theory emanate from the assessment of your achievements? What about beauty, riches, your "Calling", and or possibly the size of your congregation? If the answer to these is yes, have you assessed the declaration of Elihu in Job 32:7-9? These states, "Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understands judgment". Therefore, as we embark on another journey today in the presence of the Lord, what will be your inspiration? Is it going to be all about your age? What spirit will operate inside you, the Spirit of God or that of man? I encourage you, therefore, to hear my words those who proclaimed to have given their lives unto God because you now know Christ. You must understand that both ear and eye tests words as much as the tongue tastes food. Come, taste and know that the Lord is good. Behold, God is mighty in strength, understanding and does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous. Job 36:5-33 May God draw us away from the brink of distress to a spacious place without constraints, filling our festive table with bountiful food in Jesus Name. Amen (Job 36:16) Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... It is another day in this New Year, and it is necessary to continue to live within the knowledge of God through the hope, trust and belief in His Holy Name. Residing in each day becomes possible as every tomorrow would be attractive and less threatening. Therefore, having hope in the unseen God makes life's challenges more bearable, for no one has it all. And irrespective, faith, hope, trust and belief in the Name of God should form the fulcrum of the energy in the drive to stay within the confines of His commandments, albeit in our daily pursuits. As we become ushered into another day by His Grace, let us keep our hope in Him alive, for we can only bear and go through the pressures of life if we become knitted to the love of Who is the, I Am that I Am: "Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls." For: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls." 1 Peter 1:3-9 And in this New Year, "Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ", for great is His faithfulness. May the Lord renew our hope in Him daily like the morning dew and make us enjoy peace, happiness, good health and long life amid life travails in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

31st December 21

Message For Today  Date: Friday 31st December 2021 Topic: Jesus Is Coming  Bible Ref: Revelation Chapter 22 copied Author: Superior Evang Feyi Atere As today’s the last day of the year 2021, let us give honour onto whom honour is due and that person is our Jehovah, the Almighty God, the Protector and the Keeper of our souls for the privilege of today. Halleluyah! We must not forget the reason why God has spared our lives to see this day. The main reason for our survival is for us to worship the Almighty God regardless of who we are or where we are. You will agree that many people started the year with us but for one reason or the other they did not have the grace to see this day.  So let us not take the grace of God for granted. As you are all aware that we are in a delicate period with pandemic striking everywhere in the world.  This is an indication that the world is definitely coming to an end and that the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is very near. Christ said “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in the Holy Book (Revelation 22:7 NLT).   So let the one who is doing harm continue to do harm; let the one who is vile continue to be vile; let the one who is righteous continue to live righteously; let the one who is holy continue to be holy. “Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” (Revelation 22:11-12 NLT). Please let us observe what is written in the Scripture that: “We must not add anything to what is written in the Holy Book otherwise, God will add to that person the plagues described in the Book. And if anyone removes any of the words from the Book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in the Holy Book” (Revelation 22: 18-19 NLT). May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people. Amen. Have a glorious day and see you in the New Year by the grace of God. Amen.

30th December 21

Checking into God's Presence... The year we started with so much anticipation is now on it’s back, gradually receding into the part of the previous years. But the question now is how we have performed before God when we take our conducts into perspective. So this morning “O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. Ye that fears the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great. The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth. The heavens, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. The dead praise, not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence. But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the Lord." Psalm 115:10-18 By definition, and at this withering year, the Church of Jesus Christ must not wait until special occasions like Easter, Christmas Day, New Year Day, Mother's and father's Day, and any periodic harvests before they can give praise, worship, and celebrate the goodness of the Lord. Instead, the Church of God must rediscover the energy to serve God with faith, obedience, belief, trust, and total joy and, in wonder, with submission and glory, celebrate the righteousness and Holiness of God by dedicating each day to His Glory.  In the Book of Nehemiah, the people who gathered to celebrate the dedication of the Wall in Jerusalem were not without some teething problems. Still, they summed up courage by putting aside their significant challenges. They gathered to celebrate God in His Newness, expressing great joy and gladness with music and dancing, offering sacrifices and praises until their voices were heard afar off. “On that day, they offered great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. "The sound of rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard far away". Nehemiah 12:43  That was because God remembered them for all their good works, according to  Nehemiah 13:31. It states- "And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the first fruits. Remember me, O my God, for good." With delight, God will often fill His people with joy and the good things of life. But for Him to perform this duty, His people must first cleanse themselves of paganism, be joyful and then remember to dedicate each day they are alive to His Glory.  The people who call themselves after the Name of God must also remember to bring their offerings and their first fruits at the appointed time to the tabernacles of the Lord. Have you given Him the day through your praise and offerings? Do you prefer to cling to your knowledge and understanding? Do you remember that God wants us to rejoice in His presence so He can never forget us? But first, we remember to love God, honour, and fear Him by following His principles. God, in return, will establish us as pillars of greatness: like Abraham, He will also allow buildings of our excellence to be substantial and remain forever. Remember us, oh God and do not allow the waywardness in us to shun away the good things of life you have promised to give us. Failures may be part of life; wherever we have failed, oh Lord, let our failures become stepping stones to our breakthroughs, progress, and successes. Bring down and disgrace with Your power, every satanic crowd, and power gathering to mock and unseat Your glory upon us and do not allow our dreams of greatness to die in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... It is known that human beings would always want to seek perfection in their daily pursuits, which is somewhat not taboo. By all means, these attributes go beyond studying in any educational institution; we have been naturally endowed and designed by God to pursue a specialization in our chosen fields and excel in life as a result. The Bible talks about differing gifts in Romans 12:2-9 that we should not be "conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what that good is, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according to as God hath dealt with every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every member's one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good." It goes without saying that with every gift endowed upon us by God, we must all endeavour to "abhor that which is evil and cleave to that which is good" so we do not become limited in our areas of specialization. A culture embraced by God to inspire us to greater heights, having bestowed on us originally the right Spirit through faith so we can become strengthened in the way we worship Him in His Presence. However, the ineptitude of others in their chosen field should not be our paramount concern. For it was recorded by Apostle Paul in Romans 15:1-7 that "we then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. For whatsoever things were written a foretime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God." In part, we may be self-conceited and also refuse to ascribe any importance to the above assertions due to pride, total disregard, lack of love, un-forgiveness, and greed. Sin is sin, and there are no two ways to look at it other than to commit our bodies, minds, and souls to the care of God. We must be doing what is pure and just in His Presence all of the time. Let us, therefore, nail the stubborn sins we regularly commit to the Cross "that ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God." Romans 15:6-7. We can make a difference and start today; let us begin by hiding ourselves in the value of the richness in Christ at all times by making each day count and better than the previous day in His Service. Christ will be our gain, and there is no doubt about that, for we shall be glad every day when we have decided to live in His Presence. However, as each day may make us older, we shall be a day better in the Kingdom race in the real sense. I pray we shall all be redeemed today from all stubborn sins and stains so that "the God of patience and consolation will grant us to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:" in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen (Romans 15:5) Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... Most assuredly, the year is withering, but before the curtains are drawn, can we possibly ask ourselves what we have under our roofs at homes and in our churches? What can we categorically say about our temples? Do our hearts include and or resemble that which is encouraged by Jesus Christ? Paul the Apostle exhorts us in Romans 8:4-5: "That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit." Thank You, Father, for this new day through You. Thank You also for bringing us through the mysteries of yesterday and into the plans You have already put in place for us today. Make us Children of Yours who is willing to work as the servant of the Highest God, for the decree in Your Name is we will continue to enjoy the wealth of the nations and be proud that all our gifts are from Thee. Let the world rejoice with us over those matters we have lost hope on and guide us in time to be able to set our minds on things of the Spirit in Jesus' Most holy Name. 25th December 21

Checking into God’s Presence...  Thank you, Father, for Your grace: we can witness the birth of another Christmas day. We give You the glory and the adoration because we have been kept as part of Your plan. Today we want to remind You of Your faithfulness; therefore, bless us with the power of Your Might so we can be a living testimony that will add to the actual value of Your praise.  In Psalm 86:9-17, David was able to espouse the same idea of honouring You with his praises. He states- “all nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy Name. For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone. Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy Name. I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy Name forever. For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. O God, the proud have risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them. But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long-suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, Lord, hast holpen me, and comforted me.” Be Thou exalted, oh Lord, give strength to us as Your children and save us from the perils of the end-time challenges. We know Thou art full of compassion and plenteous in mercy, righteousness and faithfulness: therefore turn to us today, make us return to Thee and grant mercy upon every soul.  Let Your comfort supersede our shame. Expunge our failures, disappointments, sicknesses, anxieties, doubts, fear and lack of faith. Build Your trust on our lips, strengthen our dedication and let it align with the purpose of Your salvation in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen  Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

24th December 21

Checking into God's Presence...  I am again privileged to welcome you all to another day in His Presence. Please note: it is not taboo to see much thinking about life in terms of riches or wealth, beauty, position, miracles, prophesies, leadership, age, affluence and influence. These include the ability to speak and write effectively; whilst also recording successes at all fronts.  Let me give you another insight into the above attributes. It does not matter what prowess you possess or enjoy; you will be surprised how dwarfed they can be when set against the characteristics of other people.    Invariably, you may be rich and can still be poor in every sense when your fortune is compared to other people's wealth. Besides, you may consider yourself poor, but when such a position is set against other people's poverty level, one can suddenly become rich.   In the area of beauty, you can see yourself as very beautiful, radiant and exquisite; simultaneously, you can carry the banner of ugliness to many suitors. That is very common in life! We can still boast the grace to live when we are alive; even then, you will discover many often struggle in health. They form the category of those who think it is better to die than to face the ignominy of being imprisoned with their health conditions. Through misconception, we can mock the gift of life given to us by God. When that happens, we may forget that no one has it all! Limitation abounds in knowledge; you can still be outshone in many quarters no matter how knowledgeable you are. As well, you may be alive today; let me assure you that there is no guarantee that tomorrow will always come.   However, and while we still live: we all have the power that enables us to think. In your thoughts today, you can make a significant change by giving God credits in every situation. Remember, life without Christ often leads to crisis. "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10 As we lead our lives this Christmas Season, let us be able to see your Face in all our attributes in Jesus name. Amen   Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just checking in into His Presence...

23rd December 21

Checking into God's Presence...  It is another morning and we are still counting but only by the special grace of God. However, where lays your hope in all of your counting? Are they based on things you already procured or on those you are expecting to have? Do you think you have you been deprived in any way by assumptions, cheating, lying, misunderstanding and distrust owing to genuine prophesies? In Romans 8:18-25, Apostle Paul entreated on what can give the children of God eternal glory whilst still living in this world. It says: “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.  For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that[h] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to son ship, the redemption of our bodies.  For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently”. As we enjoy another grace to be alive this morning, l encourage you all to put these wordings by Apostle Paul into perspective: “hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently” Empower us oh Lord to receive strange favour ordained by Your Holy Spirit today. Let every angle we turn to favour us. In Your faithfulness, allow Your divine favour to open doors for us in high places. Where others are being denied, maltreated and misled, let Your eternal favour embrace us. Decree that the benefits accrued from our labours of many years are not in vain. Let them be delivered back to us today. This festive Season, we plead through Your Name to remove scars, failures and sickness of any nature. Where others have been stopped, delayed, removed and subjected to ridicule; Your favour oh Lord will move us forward and link us to the position worthy of Your glory. Children of God; l decree today that you will go and begin to enjoy with patience a better relationship with God in the “hope that[h] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God” in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Testimony Time Teasers Today:- copied Some years ago, I was stuck on a crosstown bus in New York City during rush hour. Traffic was barely moving. The bus was filled with cold, tired people who were deeply irritated with one another, with the world itself. Two men barked at each other about a shove that might or might not have been intentional. A pregnant woman got on, and nobody offered her a seat. Rage was in the air; no mercy would be found here. But as the bus approached Seventh Avenue, the driver got on the intercom. *'Folks,'* he said, *'I know you have had a rough day and you are frustrated. I can’t do anything about the weather or traffic, but here is what I can do. As each one of you gets off the bus, I will reach out my hand to you. As you walk by, drop your troubles into the palm of my hand, okay? Don’t take your problems home to your families tonight, just leave them with me. My route goes right by the Hudson River, and when I drive by there later, I will open the window and throw your troubles in the water.'* It was as if a spell had lifted. Everyone burst out laughing. Faces gleamed with surprised delight. People who had been pretending for the past hour not to notice each other’s existence were suddenly grinning at each other like, is this guy serious? Oh, he was serious. At the next stop, just as promised, the driver reached out his hand, palm up, and waited. One by one, all the exiting commuters placed their hand just above his and mimed the gesture of dropping something into his palm. Some people laughed as they did this, some teared up but everyone did it. The driver repeated the same lovely ritual at the next stop, too. And the next. All the way to the river. We live in a hard world, my friends. Sometimes it is extra difficult to be a human being. Sometimes you have a bad day. Sometimes you have a bad day that lasts for several years. You struggle and fail. You lose jobs, money, friends, faith, and love. You witness horrible events unfolding in the news, and you become fearful and withdrawn. There are times when everything seems cloaked in darkness. You long for the light but don’t know where to find it. But what if you are the light? What if you are the very agent of illumination that a dark situation begs for?. That’s what this bus driver taught me, that anyone can be the light, at any moment. This guy wasn’t some big power player. He wasn’t a spiritual leader. He wasn’t some media-savvy influencer. He was a bus driver, one of society’s most invisible workers. But he possessed real power, and he used it beautifully for our benefit. When life feels especially grim, or when I feel particularly powerless in the face of the world’s troubles, I think of this man and ask myself, What can I do, right now, to be the light? Of course, I can’t personally end all wars, or solve global warming, or transform vexing people into entirely different creatures. I definitely can’t control traffic. But I do have some influence on everyone I brush up against, even if we never speak or learn each other’s name. *No matter who you are, or where you are, or how mundane or tough your situation may seem, I believe you can illuminate your world. In fact, I believe this is the only way the world will ever be illuminated, one bright act of Grace at a time, all the way to the river.* ~Elizabeth Gilbert At this festive season and into the years ahead, may we all receive the empowerment to be able illuminate the world in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

21st December 21

Testimony Time:-1 Timothy 6:7 reminds us about our humble beginning- "For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it." God provisions can be felt through everyone suffering from the same peculiar position. And somehow, everyone have been able to cover their nakedness, directly and indirectly. If God can provide for our needs as a child even without lifting a finger, why do we always forget the logic behind this provisions, knowing fully well that irrespective of what we acquire in this world, nothing shall be taken out it. What can you achieve without the presence of God? So, this Christmas, let us plan to remove ourselves from the forest of idle worshipping and reclaim peace for our hearts. Time is of the essence, for nobody knows tomorrow. 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own”. Matthew 6:25-34 And so l ask, what is your relationship with God? Half baked or such that is filled with nonchalance? This festive Season, I pray to God to give us clear understanding about how to worship Him in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen Http://testimony-times.blogspot.co.uk Just Checking into His Presence...

Checking into God's Presence... This Christmas Season, “So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Checking into Gods Presence... What have you gained so far as a child of God? What can you say you have learnt apart from your religious visits to different churches? You have prayed, fasted, worshipped and sang songs of praises in different version but how has that affected your image of being self-centred? Abel became the offering of the first born after bringing his offering to God on the basis of his own self effort which came from the fruit of the ground. "And Abel brought an offering--fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering,"-Genesis 4:4 At first, Abel presented his image well before God; that also meant his offering became acceptable. However, man's image continued to fall deeper and deeper into depravity, mainly for those who saw life from the perspective of Cane. The selfishness of man did not stop until God destroyed His first creation; only to start with Noah's family again.- Genesis 6-8 From the fall of Abel, issues relating to images has always been a challenge and ever since it has developed into a broad issue governing every strata of the society. This initial problem Cane heard now reverberates round homes, churches and work places. We beseech you Father to empower us to live according to Your image in Jesus name.
